Deceptive business practice. My daughter whos never had a cavity in her 24 years went in to have a recent filling checked because it was bothering her. Dr. Bouraran told her shed need a root canal. When we questioned him for details, his explanation didnt sound convincing. When we said we were going to get a second opinion he told us hed already started the root canal procedure during her first evaluation visit. He did this without disclosing it to my daughter or getting her permission to perform a root canal. We took him to the NY Board of Dentistry for performing a procedure that was not clinically necessary. The Board (made up of dentists) ruled in Dr. Bourarans favor. Imagine that! He subsequently took us to collections for the balance we withheld while he was being investigated. For your own good, find another dentist/endodontis!

I had a cavity and she did a root canal. I had a suspicious feeling when she finished with the crown and told me I had another cavity. So I said ok to drilling and filling the cavity. After drilling she said I needed another root canal!! I got a second opinion and turns out the crown was improperly put on and needs to be completely redone. And worst of all there was never a cavity on my other tooth. Overall the cost was over $4000.00 and now I have to go elsewhere to get everything she messed up fixed. I should also point out that I asked for an estimate before everything and they told me $3,300.00. They are very clever at selling uneccessary work. My advice would be to keep looking for a dentist because this one is completely unethical.

Very clean and modern office, professional staff, and overall great dental experience. I arrived late for the appointment, was still accommodated, and was treated with excellent care. Cost of care and everything that was being done was explained thoroughly and accurately. Robert, who performed the actual cleaning, was very professional, courteous, and knowledgable. Ive already scheduled a follow-up consultation and my next cleaning in 6 months. *Follow-up edit* Yesterday I returned to the office to have a cavity filled and was treated by Dr. Boujaran herself, and the treatment was excellent. Dr. Boujaran did a great job on the filling, it was as painless as possible, and I feel as though my dental health is on the upswing. 5 stars again.

So professional and sympathetic to my questions and concerns. I could tell from the first day that every person working there took an extreme amount of pride in their work and seemed to me to be more knowledgable than my previous dentist. Olga, at the front desk, makes sure I am always in the loop and that I never miss an appointment and responds immediately by email, text, ect. to whatever question I might have. I feel incredibly valued as a patient and person by the entire staff and even though they are out of my health insurance network it is worth it to me to keep going there.

I believe I have found the most informed, gentle, and all-around best dentist on the planet. FINALLY a dentist who listens to my concerns and cares about my feelings and fillings. This was the worst experience I have everrrrr had!!! They OVERCHARGED for everything... billed my insurance for a gold crown and it cracked 2 months later and fell out.. my new dentist told me there was NO WAY it was a gold crown.. UGH! I referred 2 friends and they had the same experience! STAY AWAY!! Brigette, the secretary is a complete IDIOT as well... Youll thank us for staying away!!!

Dr. B and Robert (Hygienist) are so attentive and highly skilled. They understand that I am afraid of the Dentist from past experiences and provide a high level of care as well as communication with me to let me know what they are doing during the procedures. Amazing Work. I feel well taken care of.

Terrible service several temporary fillings fell out, pre-agreed an amount for a procedure and was billed 2x the agreed amount, then they proceeded to put me in collections after a short time and have damaged my credit score despite having a legitimate issue with the bill.

Dr. bouraran and her whole staff were very nice. Made me feel personally cared for which was very nice for someone who is more than a bit dentist-phobic. Had multiple pain-free procedures including more than one root canal, which I didnt know was possible! Recommend.
