Last time I was here was almost 4 years ago. So not sure how things are today though going by the reviews not much changed. Really too bad, theyre less than 5 min walk from my house and I really wanted to like them. Just a money squeeze, very annoying. Something is always being pushed (unnecessary vaccines, new food, treats, vitamins, insurance) and theres lots of pressure applied. Each time theres a new vet. Bad advice given many times. If I took their advice on allergies then my dog (5 months old at the time) wouldve been on lifetime shots by now and Im sure with many more problems developed from the ongoing shots. Instead, changing the food to raw cleared it. Hes 4 years now, no allergies. When I suggested going to raw I was ridiculed and told I will kill my dog. Few more things happened at this place. I really hope they get their stuff together. There are so many dog owners around here. Everyone I spoke to say same things I say, so theyre not coming here either. Everyone chooses to drive far away (I dont have a car but I go out of my way to get one when I need one) just to not come here. Wouldnt it make more sense to hire good staff, stop the money squeeze at the expense of our pets getting unnecessary procedures and meds and developing more problems because of it, and just run a good operation with many happy clients? Im really hoping this happens. I have 2 dogs now, would really love a good vet this close. As would hundreds of pet owners around here.

I have been going to this clinic since 2009. First took my cat who eventually passed away from Cancer, the Vets and staff were so compassionate and helpful as I went through the experience. They even assisted with house calls in the end as my cat was too anxious and upset to leave the house to get her injections. When I adopted two rescues they strongly encouraged me to get Trupanion. It was a lifesaver. Within the first few months of my first rescue, he cut up his neck-later turned out to be allergies. They consistently treat my cats as well as you could. I consider them family. I am in awe of some of the poor reviews as I cannot even imagine the bad experiences described as happening. The office staff are always friendly and talk to me about how my cats are doing. Pets are expensive and tests are as well. This office always has the pet in mind. In summary, I have seen multiple Vets and have nothing but kind words to say about them.

Went there to board my dog for 1 day rather than take her to my regular vet out of convenience...waited an hour and a half then charged me $65 for a 5 minute office visit fee...quoted me different price over the phone and did not mention I could not pick her up on a sunday so I had to leave her there and pay for 2 nights...unfriendly doctor trying to sell me on things I do not need. He said my dog is in poor health and may need some treatment...I took her to my vet last month and she was in perfect health. I got charged triple the price I would have if I took her to my regular vet. I dont think they attended to my dog very well as the second she walked out she started drinking the snow on the ground, then drank two bowls of water in the matter of ten minutes when she got home, then slept for about 20 hours straight which is highly unusual. Rather drive an hour and a half away to my regular vet to get a piece of mind

I was told by the receptionist that they only take in birds and the occasional turtle found in the street (I doubt that happens often). They do not take any domestic animals, not even dogs or cats which I am surprised about because I know people with cats who have gone there and also see it in the reviews. One of our members took in a hurt pigeon and they wont give any info on it. I asked her why, she said they send them to Central Veterinary Associates in Valley Stream to rehabilitate and figure out what to do with them.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET THERE! Horrible service, the doctors have attitudes like they dont want to work there... Always talk over you when you try to tell them something about your pet.... All they worry about is making money by trying to throw all kinds of services to you.... Tick drops..etc...and quick to tell me each visit that I have to clip my pups testicles when he wasnt even over an illness from the pet store we got him from. If you love your pet, DO NOT GO THERE!

My father called this clinic trying to get information on when they were closing for the day and basically the receptionist who was trying to "assist" him was full out giving him an attitude. She had no patience and put him on hold twice without even mentioning it. Watching my dad in frustration, I decided to take the phone and speak to her. This place lacks professionalism and I do not suggest it to anyone who is willing to bring their pet there.

After purchasing my pups from a pet shop, this was one of the recommended/included clinics. I decided to come here just because its included plus its close to home. It was such a hassle the first couple of times visiting but after a few more visits, my pups improved. Although I do like all the doctors here (personality/professional), I feel like theyre just not as knowledgeable compare to my older dogs clinic. I wouldnt recommend.

They charged me $785 for one time visit. The receptionist told me the visit was $75, so my mistake was I didnt even look at the receipt when I was signing it. The next day when I looked at my credit card history, I was charged for $785. they would do tests and shots without even consulting if you can afford to pay that much. Ridiculous!!!!!

Six years ago i took my cat in an emergency and they saved his life. When my friends said to put my cat down, they did there best here even when it was a Saturday night. I took my other cat there and the doctor treated my cat very gently and had patience when my cat was nervous. She was friendly and professional.

Adopted my cat from this animal clinic. I was not very happy with them. The cat had a kidney problem, which developed into kidney stones. I was very upset with the whole situation. I would NOT recommend this animal clinic. The vet was very curt with us.

They bullied us and our cat. Never once mentioned how much the bill would be for a routine check up. Then hit us over the head with a $500 bill for blood work. They might as well have just pulled out a gun and said give me your wallet

I take my dog here to be boarded three times in the last 8 months. Each time there is a new vaccine that is needed that is suppose to last a year. There is always a new charge or expense other than the boarding fee.
