TLDR: Do not hesitate to see Dr. Turner. Best chiropractor Ive been to hands down and Ive seen quite a few. Ive had serious back issues for as long as I can remember and I travel a lot for my consulting job which means hours of sitting in planes and not to mention all the hours at the desk. After a couple of months of seeing Dr. Turner however, much of the pain has gone away and I can finally partake in many of the activities Ive enjoyed before! In conjunction, I see Susan on Fridays who gives Trigger Point sessions to relieve tight areas in your muscles which also makes it easier for Dr. Turner to make her adjustments. Susan is amazing in her own right as well! During my first visit with Dr. Turner, she took X-rays and ran a series of tests that gave a very in-depth look into my overall condition. I found that many of my concerns that were waved off by other chiropractors I’ve seen before, were all picked up by the scans and tests she ran. She also provides the report with all the test results. She explains everything she does and encourages you be knowledgeable as well; in fact during the first visit she requires all patients to watch videos providing background on chiropractic care. Not only did this give me assurance of the care she provides, but our frequent dialogue also provided me the benefit of being continually well-informed of my condition. As busy as she is, I find the level of care I receive from her to be extraordinary. She does require that you do fill out a self-assessment at the beginning of every visit so that she does not miss anything during the session. She is also very well organized, so when she says shes going to do something for you, know that shell follow through. My back pain (especially in the low back) has gotten much better and I started seeing benefits right away. One surprising benefit concerned my balding. I did not realize how much stress I carried day to day from my back problems and so with a lot of that stress removed, I started to experience hair regrowth in the crown area of my head. Another amazing benefit was the explosiveness I regained in my lower body which I noticed when playing pickup basketball. Speaking of sports, she also provided me with custom insoles which utilized the scans she performed on my feet during one of her diagnostic tests. My ankle issues have gotten considerably better after wearing them over time and following her rehab plan. Something else I experienced was that I became more mindful of my own condition as she started to correct subluxations along my spine; I was able to articulate more effectively on which remaining areas specifically bothered me. I could keep going through the many benefits Ive experienced from seeing Doctor Turner but this is already turning into a ramble. Ill close by saying she even picked up on issues Ive forgotten to mention to her that were nowhere near my areas of complaint, which goes to show you how thorough of a job she does. The retake of the tests and X-rays a few weeks into treatment also showed a drastic improvement in my condition which mimicked how I was already feeling. She truly is a blessing. Do not hesitate to see her.

"So much more than a doctor" Dr. Turner is a certified & gifted chiropractor located at 84-02 51st Avenue Elmhurst (Queens) New York 11373 she is a must see. Dr.Turner is an angel sent from heaven. I remember going to my primary doctor and other doctors wanting to have a full body examination meaning blood work, eyes, teeth, lungs,breast, pap smear, veins, colonoscopy, spine you name it I wanted everything done before my 40th birthday as a gift to myself. I wanted to know where my body and wellness stood. I am not saying something was wrong but something was not right. I know my body. To my surprise my health insurance would not cover my chiropractic services, one of my primary doctors nurses gave me information to a chiropractor. Only a certain amount of adjustments would be allotted under coverage (depending on the health insurance). Being fully aware that it could be out of pocket meaning I would have to pay I knew and felt it would be a well deserved investment in myself after meeting Dr.Turner. The energy of Dr.Turner, the office location, her employees, I just spiritually knew I was in good hands. Everyone is amazing so when I sat down and conversed with her she waived my consultation fee all I had to do was bring canned good for the people less fortunate, yes they had a food drive at the time that she has been affiliated with for years. Dr.Turner took xrays of my spine showed me what the situation was and It was up to me whether or not I wanted to proceed, my spirit felt at peace so I proceeded. It is worth every dime she is beautiful internally and externally her energy is peaceful her voice is soothing to the soul. Even my Fiancé approved of her. Dr.Turners not only exceptional at what she does but she loves and has passion for what she does as well and it shows, her professionalism is one to be seen, she said the day that she does not love what she does anymore she needs to not come in and not do it anymore. I was impressed. It shows that she loves what she does and is not only exceptional at what she does. I started in November 2013 it is now August 2014, 9 months and counting. I actually have seen and still see a huge difference in my overall health, strength and ability. Thank you Dr. Turner your actions speaks a lot louder than words and your actions thus far shows you care about me as well your patients. I am grateful to have met your acquaintance Dr.Turner. If you the reader reading my comment needs or wants someone that can assist you in your endeavor of getting a better, healthier life for you and your love ones as long as your willing to communicate and follow instructions she is the one for you. I have been receiving care from Dr. Turner for 8 years. Initially, I went to address symptoms from injuries that I suffered years prior. I could not walk without pain. I imagined that I would need surgery or a wheelchair to get through my life. Chiropractic care? It was worth a try. With Dr. Turners care, knowledge and expertise, my structure and function were restored. I can run, lift weights, swim, dance and enjoy my life in full. Over the years, I have visited Dr. Turner for wellness care for myself and my son, and immediately after incurring injuries, such as whiplash and athletic injury. I spend a lot of time driving, at a computer and in meetings, and this causes problems for me. Regular adjustments, especially when combined with proper exercise, keep me at my healthiest. I have recommended Dr. Turner to many people, and those who go are sure to tell me how she has changed their lives, too. I have been to other chiropractors and find her to be particularly knowledgeable, intuitive and talented. Not only has she helped with my back and neck, she has remedied problems I have had with my wrist, knees, ankle, ribs, hip . . . She can be trusted wholeheartedly for individuals of any age (from newborn to elderly) and in any condition - from the elite athlete to those who have had or may need surgery. She will not begin treatment without thorough diagnosis including x-rays, to ensure the best care, and this is another reason I recommend her highly. Also, her staff are well trained, efficient and friendly, and the office is clean and nice.
