Yours Truly
Im very disappointed with this place. The staff is caring and love the animals. However I went in for an appointment to have a growth removed on my dog. I was quoted that it would cost 400 to 600 depending on how long it took. The growth is on my dogs leg and only about an inch big. When i asked for a written estimate they said they could not provide me a printout of the cost and treatment. And then went on to say again between 400.and 600. The only reason I took my dog here and not to my regular vet was becouse they took such good care of 1 of my dogs for an emergency c section. It was affordable and they were compassionate. They continued to tell me the range of 400 to 600 was becouse of the growths location. I smell liars!!! I took my.dog to my regular vet just left and my bill was. $352.00 and she is getting it removed today!! My regular vet said it was not a complicated area so he doesnt know what they were talking about!!!!! Also I was provided an written estimate with exact pricing of everything inclusing charges so small like waste fees. Yet Grady animal hospital could not provide an estimate. Hmmm makes you wonder...? VERY dissapointed and i will not be returning. They charged me 1000 dollars for a c section and spay for an English bulldog.THAT WAS AN AMAZING PRICE ANF I THANK THEM FOR A JOB WELL DONE!!! but yet they want 600 for a simple growth removal. Crazy...sounds like a scam to me. Im not a novice dog owner either. I breed, show and volunteer for rescues. Im shocked with the unprofessional actions of the staff and doctors. What kind of place cant even right up an estimate. Grady animal hospital 600 to remove a growth and cant provide an estimate. My regular vet 352 with written estimate. That doesnt make sence. I urge all pet owners to do there research and dont let vets take advantage just becouse you love your animal. Goes to show you, cant trust people

I wanna start off by saying not ever the type to write a review but after this experience i am extremely unhappy. The first few visits i thought the place seemed pretty nice since i was referred by a friend and because it was affordable but now i learned that the price does not matter if the vet does not care. I had dr. Mark, first few visits i thought he was nice because we never ever talked much and he got the job done. My puppy has been limping for awhile and i picked up huge cracks on his paws and realized they never checked his paws on the daily checkups. And then i noticed their checkups were always quick and simple, way too quick. I got xray as recommended by them and waited 2 months because the limp was suppose to go away and never did so i called back and told the receptionist about the paws and how i wanted an earlier appointment and a free checkup as a courtesy because thats something they shouldve seen because the cracks were huge now. The receptionist as usual was very nice and understanding and was gonna see what she can do. Then i get a call back that i missed and i called back and receptionist tells me dr.mark said i can go somewhere else. Not a single word on the phone to me after not speaking to him for 2 months as he recommended we wait and then tells me to f off in a nice way. Extremely rude and never going back again. At least have the common courtesy to tell me that he messed up because i understand people make mistakes all the time at work but instead he told me to go somewhere else?? Just please dont go there if u treat your pet like family.

Worst experience of my life. My 14 year old Pit Bull was suffering. Labored breathing renal failure vomiting and not able to hold it for long. Since Dr Marc had never seen my dog prior he wanted to do tests and god knows what else just to make money. I would have taken my dog to Affordable vet care if they were open evenings. I have had all horrible experiences at Grady Animal Hospital. Have had my other dog seen there for her puppy shots and wormings etc. Dr Marc is the most untrusting person I have ever met in my life. I have a huge network of rescues and friends. I used to recommend them using Grady, but no longer. Bad news travels faster then good news. They will all avoid going to this animal hospital for now on. Thanks for nothing! Dr Marcs associate Vet botched up my moms Yorkies eye during surgery. They wanted to put her dog back under open the wound and restitch the eye. Are you serious? You want to put the dog through another painful surgery because your associate vet doesnt know what shes doing! GTFO. What a joke of a practice! Beware of Grady animal hospital. Both veterinarians dont know what they are doing. Its sad how much money I have sent there way, and all the complaints I have gotten but still recommended them.

I had a great experience with my dogs care here between yesterday and today. What started out as the worst day ever, between other vets wanting to charge 3x more than necessary for a spay (to fix a vaginal prolapse) or vets telling me they couldnt perform the surgery due to my dog chewing her prolapse, 8 hours later I brought my dog to Grady animal hospital. Dr. Christine was so confident in her treatment plan to care for my girl and sure she could fix everything it made me comfortable to leave her knowing everything was going to be okay. Dr. Christine went above and beyond to let me know of a mammory tumor that she said could be removed while she was under, as well as an xrays to make sure no other problems were existing. All these extras made me nervous, but the bill was totally reasonable, significantly less than her original estimate, worked with me on payments, and still thousands of dollars less than other vets wanted to charge. Ill definetely be bringing all my pets here from now on. Would have definetely given 5 stars for this hospital if the receptionist wasnt rude.

My dog has been limping now for 3 months. I have spent over $1000 with no results. They took X Rays and etc and found nothing. Not once they looked at my dogs paws. I finally found out from google that this could be the cause so I inspected my dogs paws only to find out large cracks on all four paws. I called the hospital right away to set up another appointment and told them how I was disappointed that not once they looked at his paws and how they kept telling me it is normal and nothing is wrong with my dog. My dog is family to me and whoever takes this lightly and let him suffer in pain for three months do not deserve to care for my dog. Instead of listening to me and allow me to speak my concerns, doctor said to the nurse (I heard him in the background), well he can take his Fuc**** dog some where else. This is the head Doctor of the hospital. His name is Mark. I will never take my dog there again.

This was the most caring- loving animal hospital I have ever been to. Dr. Mark had the best bedside manner I have ever experienced and walked me through step by step of the testing they were doing for my sweet little boy. The staff was respectful and very comforting in a very sad time. They gave me time with my kitty and ultimately gave me the choice to do what was necessary. They let me grieve and cry as long as I wanted. They consoled me and I truly felt they cared. They are not there just doing a job they truly care for those animals and want the best for them and their owners. I suggest everyone consider Grady Animal Hospital in a time of care or emergency for your pet. I know that this was the right choice and that I was led here for a reason. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and hospitality. God Bless!!
