I have been going to Dr. Shapiro for the last 26 years, since I was an 18 year old. Instead of walking into a cold, sterile environment where youre rushed in and out being just another number, I was greeted by Betsy who made me feel at home since Ill be honest, at that point I hadnt seen a dentist in 10 years and I was beyond scared and nervous. Dr Shapiro brought me into his office, we had a nice casual conversation and talked about our backgrounds, and he made me feel totally at ease. Every time I walk into that office, I feel like Im a member of his extended family, not just a patient. He genuinely cares about you, your dental health, your overall health, and family, and wont hesitate to offer advice and wisdom. As Dr. Shapiro doesnt belong to any "in network" dental plans (that Im aware of anyway), a few times I tested the waters going to an in-network dentist to try and save some money. Both times I tried it it was clearly a huge mistake. As I put it to him, in-network dentists to me are the "JiffyLube of dentistry". Youre rushed in and out as quickly as possible so they can fit more patients in a smaller amount of time to make up for what little they are paid by the various dental networks. Dr. Shapiro and his staff take their time to pay attention to detail and the quality of their work shows. This is why Id rather pay out of pocket to use him than use an in-network dentist covered under my dental plan. Those two times I went in-network, they actually complimented the root canal that Dr. Shapiro performed on me when I was 18; they both said whoever did it knew what they were doing because it is a tough tooth to do and it was executed perfectly. They also messed up performing a root canal that Dr. Shapiro had to re-do. I advise anyone who isnt happy with their current dental care to try Dr. Shapiro, and try him even if you are happy. I think youll be surprised at just how different the level of care is and how happy youll be with the results. Thanks for all the years of quality work Dr. Shapiro!

I have been a patient of Dr. Shapiro for over 20 years starting when I was a kid. There is something so different about Dr. Shapiro’s approach and the atmosphere that comes from him and his staff. Everyone there is extremely kind, and the office is very calm. Its hard to find someone that is so focused on their patients that they go great lengths to ensure comfort. He has come in on his day off to help me with an emergency and has never made me feel that any dental issue I had was bothersome. My insurance changed a few years back and Dr. Shapiro doesn’t accept my plan any longer. I tried another dentist ONCE, BIG MISTAKE. I now pay out of pocket just to keep using him, thats how important I feel his service is. So many dentists only do what insurance covers which may not be a quality job or use quality materials. ALL DOCTORS ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL. Dr. Shapiro is an example of that. He uses only the best materials and the latest technology. Don’t believe me, give him a try? You will believe what I just said by the time you leave. Seriously, the guy is so in love with his craft that he oozes it. You can tell that he gets so much satisfaction from doing the highest quality work. And because its you that really benefits from all of that, I continue to use Dr. Shapiro’s office.

Dr. Shapiro has completely changed and helped our family and I cant wait to share our experience! Ive written a review in the past regarding the outstanding cosmetic and general dental work weve received at the office by Dr. Shapiro and his courteous, friendly and professional staff. PLEASE READ THIS!! Dr. Shapiro took the time to get to know mine and my husbands life story. When he heard about my husbands injuries and ongoing illnesses he offered us a solution for his sleep apnea! Dr Shapiro stating that his snoring was not the main issue but that sleep apnea leads to high blood pressure, weight gain, heart disease and many other issues such as car accidents due to constant fatigue. My husband had tried using a sleep mask but it ultimately would always come off during the night. Dr. Shapiro fit my husband for an oral appliance and now he sleeps through the night, snore free to the great pleasure of the rest of the family! After using the appliance for a few weeks my husband is so much more calm, attentive, and peaceful during the day. Life is short, untreated sleep apnea is a slow killer. I am beyond grateful for all this wonderful man has done for us..thank you!

Doctor Shapiro is not only the best Dentist - hes a great guy who works with the highest level of skill for the purpose of improving your life by making your mouth look, feel and function as best it can. Better oral health = better you. The atmosphere of the office and the attitudes of each and every staff member reflects his mindful attention to sincere no nonsense care. After years of neglect and bad dentistry, my teeth were badly in need of help when I first visited the Center for Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Shapiro has since done extensive work on my mouth, including bridges, implants, and crowns. All the work was done with care and attention to detail. I never got the feeling that Dr. Shapiro was cutting corners or rushing to get to the next patient. My teeth have never been in better shape, and Dr. Shapiros proactive approach to dental hygiene will insure that they stay that way. He is a great dentist, and he and his staff create a friendly and comfortable environment. I would gladly recommend the Center for Cosmetic Dentistry.

He is not only an exceptional dentist but he is a true artist as well.
