My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Grassos for many years and have always found the office staffs professionalism, warmth and commitment to our health to be unparalleled. Although the relaxing atmosphere and staff friendliness made for surprisingly enjoyable dentist visits, I never thought this office would ever be anything more to us than a location for bi-annual checkups - until recently. When I was 26 I was diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Plagued by my fatigue, loss of mental acuity (a must for my job), constant drowsiness and a lack of medical knowledge, my then-fiance and I set out through the confusing, contradictory (ever tried using a loud, air-wielding machine at night to "aid" you in sleep? I have.) world of Sleep Apnea treatment. When my respiratory specialist would only offer various types of the aforementioned CPAP device (an option, it was clear from the start, that would not work for me), we began the tedious process of researching, asking around and testing the less obtrusive option of an oral appliance. This expensive and arduous endeavor led us through a multitude of options ranging from mildly to not-at-all successful before we learned that Dr. Grasso provided and endorsed one himself. The SomnoMed was a game changer. There are a lot of options out there (many of which I have tried) and this device was the first of any apnea treatment methods that fully worked for me. Where other appliances failed - by popping out in my sleep, becoming warped over time, not holding my jaw in place correctly - this has succeeded and in doing so, has given me my life back. Because I was suffering from a medical condition, it hadnt crossed my mind to consult a dentist and as a result, many of my earlier trials were not made with my mouths needs in mind. For Obstructive Sleep Apnea sufferers, there is a lot of conflicting and confusing information out there which can make it hard to pick out the quality options. Luckily, I have a great dentist that did this research for me so that I could finally find my long-sought-after solution. My hope by posting this is that anyone else suffering from the same condition and research overload will see this and be spared the time and expense it took us to finally find a solution.

I first started going to Dr. Grasso for dental care about a year and a half ago. The first thing I noticed was the gentle humanity of each person I met in his practice, and the reassuring professionalism demonstrated in every interaction I had with them. I had fears about needing to have work done, and anxiety about how things might turn out. Dr. Grasso and his staff listened to all of my concerns, answered my questions, and gave me the information I needed to decide for myself. They never pressured me in any way, and I always felt welcome and that I was getting the best care available anywhere. They have won my confidence, and I am happy--yes happy!--to have Dr. Grasso for my dentist. He is a full service dentist providing state of the art cosmetic options as well as the best routine care. Add to that reasonable rates. If you have to have work done, you cant do better. Im glad I spent the money.

I have always taken care of my teeth and had regular dental cleanings and check ups. But I never experienced such exemplary service and perfection until I went to Dr. Grassos office. I had been experiencing trouble with a space between my teeth and a crown and had tried for years to have it fixed but was told it was as good as it could be. The first thing Dr. Grasso did was to replace that crown and it is perfect. He created a dental appliance for my sleep apnea. Now I am rested and feel great in the morning. Dr. Grasso truly cares about his patients, but more than that, he practices with a level of perfectionism and expertise that I never thought existed. And, as if that werent enough, my teeth have never been cleaner and his hygeniests are all very gentle. His entire staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. I highly recommend Dr. Grasso!

From 1 to 10 Dr. Grasso is an eleven!!!! My entire family has been a patient of Dr. Grassos for approximately 20 years. Dr. Grasso and his entire staff are the nicest medical professionals Ive ever dealt with. You feel like part of a big family when you go to his office. They are extremely nice and friendly. Every dental procedure Ive ever had was painless. Ive had tooth extractions, crowns, a root canal, fillings and other procedures over the years. Dr. Grasso and his hygienist are very gentle and they do outstanding work. His office is beautiful and spotless. My sons have never had any cavities because of Dr. Grassos great care. They are now in their 20s. I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially people who are timid about seeing a dentist. You never feel rushed there. His office staff and assistants are wonderful too!

To be honest I have never seen such a great service in my entire five years stay in Syracuse. I sometimes talk to myself--this is too good to be true but it is absolutely true. Dr. Grasso and his staff members work seamlessly and a patient is treated like a king. These people are dedicated and extremely caring. They are at the stage where they should go out and educate the rest of the practitioners what it means to be a dentist, for that matter a stellar health care provider. I really mean it. Kudos to Dr Graso and his staff!! I hope you will keep up the good work.

I just had a crown put on my front tooth. Although it took longer than anticipated, it was certainly worth the wait. The staff were meticulous in matching the shade of the crown to my other front tooth, and confirmed with every step that I knew what they were doing and was 100% satisfied. When I was not, they fixed it without hesitation or question. I got a beautiful front tooth and it was no more expensive than others in the area. Plus, Im a student at SU, so the location is ideal; I could walk about 10 minutes off campus and be there.

Professional and Friendly: Ive been seeing Dr. Grasso and his staff for a year now for regular appointments and some other dental needs. I find this office to continuously be professional and friendly. I appreciate the thoroughness of their work and their attentiveness to dental care. To "Syd" who commented on 1/19/2012, I do not believe anyone is padding these reviews. If you went to this office, you would know that we are all being boastfully honest.

I started seeing Dr. Grasso sometime in the early 90s when he took over my previous dentists practice and have been nothing but satisfied with the high quality of the work (two crowns and several fillings in addition to maintenance). Hes always been good at explaining the options. In addition, the staff is both very friendly and very professional. The office is great with kids -- I have three sons who would all go there without complaint.

Dr. Grasso and his team are all exceptional. Ive had 3 crowns, films and routine cleaning done through his office and I have been treated like gold the entire time!! They have gone above and beyond and constantly exceed expectations of a good dentist. I was having problems with one of my crowns, called them up and they had me in that day to take care of it and Ive had no problems since!! Kudos to Dr. Grasso and his crew!
