Our pets have been patients of Dr. Wallach for over thirty years...several dogs and even a turtle! We have sent family and friends, neighbors and strangers to this wonderful facility. Dr. Wallach gives each patient and parent plenty of time during the exam and consult: I never feel rushed. The office never overbooks... we are taken in within minutes of our scheduled appointment. Should follow up phone calls for lab results be needed, Dr. Wallach gets on the phone himself to explain the results. The office and exam rooms are immaculate and the staff is polite and helpful: obvious dog lovers! I have never felt that unnecessary treatments or procedures have been recommended. Fees are reasonable. When the difficult decision to euthanize a pet becomes necessary to make, I have found Dr. Wallach and his staff extraordinarily sensitive to the emotions of caring pet lovers. He is definitely the go-to vet for pet owners whose pets are integral parts of the family.

I have been a University Animal Hospital client for decades and I can highly recommend this practice and Dr. Wallach. Whenever anyone asks me if I know a good vet in the area I dont hesitate to recommend this place. I have never been without a dog by my side. Dr. Wallach and his staff have seen me through the new puppy stages, countless yearly exams and vaccinations, emergencies, operations, recurring illnesses and even counseling and helping make plans for my pets in to their senior years. We have gone through it all together and in every circumstance this entire practice is respectful and understanding and compassionate. The offices are always clean. The staff always interested and happy. Dr. Wallach has an incredible wealth of veterinary knowledge through his years of practice and I wouldnt trust the well being of my pets to anyone else.

We have been bringing every pet we have had for probably over 30 years to Dr. Mark Wallach and have always trusted his judgement and treatments implicitly! He is the best...even the dogs know this and are usually on good behavior for him! The entire staff at University Animal Hospital is wonderful and so caring and helpful as well! Mark does not hesitate to admit any weakness in his expertise but is right there to tell you the proper Doctor to go see... as was the case when he thought one of our dogs had a cancerous growth in his mouth. Mark sent us to a Vet who specializes is Oncology and 4 years later Oscar is doing great! Thanks Doctor Mark for always being there! Arlene and Allen Kupchik

I just called the animal hospital and spoke to a male who i suspect is the vet about a stray cat on my property that got hurt... my question to the person was, does the vet offer any discounts when looking after strays... and the answer was they were not equipped to do that... I asked to do what? offer discounts? and was told sorry i cant help you this is a private clinic bye... I knew it was a private clinic and was willing to pay to help this poor cat and her 3 week old kitten albeit stray... I think the person could have at least asked more questions and possibly offer solutions before dismissing the possibility of helping.. Very disappointed in the lack of compassion or care.

Dr. Wallach and the staff at University Animal Hospital is the most compassionate group of professionals that I have ever met. Dr. Wallachs care and handling of animals is very gentle yet thorough. He not only puts the animal at ease, but he also puts the owner at ease. He takes the time to explain everything. I have a very tiny dog and I worry about her health, medications she might need to take and/or possible procedures she would need because shes only 3-lbs. He has taken care of her since she was 4-months old and she is now 9 -years old. Thank you for your excellent care Dr. Wallach and thank you University Animal Hospital staff for all you do too.

Words cant begin to describe how loving and caring the staff at University Animal Hospital is. They have always displayed enormous amounts of compassion towards my pets and have always made themselves available to talk about any situations that have come up concerning my three dogs. Dr. Wallach is incredible at explaining every condition and makes everything very easy to understand. I couldnt be happier with the service and professionalism I have received. I have nothing but appreciation for all that the hospital has done and how they have dealt with each and every situation that my pets have encountered.

We have patronized UAH for almost 40 years and feel that Dr. Wallach and his staff continue to give our cats the best possible care. Since we moved over 25 years ago, we now travel over 30 miles to see him because we wouldnt think of going to anyone else. Dr. Wallach and the caring staff at University Animal Hospital have taken tremendous care of our 2 dogs. I would never consider bringing my precious friends to any other vet. Dr. Wallach not only is great at diagnosing and treatment of whatever ails our dogs, but through the years he has given us great advice for training too! When we added our second dog to the family, Dr. Wallach was instrumental in how well the transition went to ensure the 2 dogs would get along together!

Dr. Wallach has been caring for my cats for over 20 years and I cant say enough good things about him and his practice. He is genuinely interested in the well-being and happiness of his patients. I was Ignored by Dr. Wallach, my Paperwork was Not Returned, his Staff was Unwelcoming, and he works Limited Hours. I would find another vet office where there is coverage from different doctors. Dr Wallach cant be dedicated if he leaves early, doesnt return calls, and doesnt work every day! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND UNIVERSITY ANIMAL HOSPITAL. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE where they really and truly have the time to commit to you and your precious pet!

Dr. Wallach is absolutely the best veterinarian! He has taken superb care of all of our familys pets over the years. Dr. Wallach is knowledgeable and aware of the latest in treatments. He has helped us with every dog that we have had--from puppyhood until their last breaths. His compassion has made those last times with our beloved dogs very special. I have been going to Dr Wallach with my pets for over 25 years. My pets have always received excellent medical care with love and compassion. Dr Wallach allows enough time with your pet to answer all questions and concerns and treats your pet as you would. His staff is caring and compassionate as well.
