Bond Animal Hospital is so much more than a veterinary hospital...it is a family. Once you and your animal become patients of Bond, you are part of that family too! All my dogs have been patients of Bond, and Ive always felt that all the doctors and staff have been so kind and helpful with each of my dogs, but I have a special bond with Dr. McKenzie. This wonderful doctor helped me through the hardest time any animal owner has to go through and that is when you have to euthanize your beloved pet. I had to put down two of my dogs within two months of each other and I couldnt have gotten through it without the staff and doctors of Bond. My huge, sweet Saint Bernard, Brando couldnt make it up the stairs to get into the hospital because his bone cancer prevented him from walking anymore, so this amazing practice carried him to the most peaceful area under a tree in the back, and surrounded by almost all of the staff who loved my Brando so much, the doctor with the most thoughtful and loving manner helped me say goodbye to Brando. As with Brando, when I had to say goodbye to Bubba, my nine year old golden retriever, who was by my side through lifes hardships, Dr. McKenzie spent as much time as I needed talking with me, comforting me and supporting me during this most difficult time. When the time came to put Bubba out of his misery from cancer, Dr. McKenzies gentle and reassuring manner made this devasting experience into a meaningful one that was as peaceful and loving as possible. Dr. McKenzie is one of the kindest and most sensitive doctors, who cares so much about his patients (and their owners!). I now have a "challenging" rescued St. Bernard who has been so difficult since the day I got him. He was an abused dog who had a very difficult beginning. I cant express the amount of patience Dr. McKenzie has had with the number of phone calls and advice I needed from him to deal with this dog Mookie. Ive needed a lot of advice and support to make some difficult decisions about this dog and Dr. McKenzie has been there every step of the way to help me overcome these obstacles. Needless to say Ive fallen in love with my new dog Mookie, despite the fact that he is so difficult and Dr. McKenzie has accomodated me in his office with Mookie by always letting me stay with him during examinations and giving Mookie special attention because of his special needs. And...not only are the doctors amazing, but all the vet techs are awesome. Erica spent one entire hour working with my difficult Mookie to get him to trust her so that she could cut his nails...something he wouldnt allow me to do. Im proud to report that today he loves Erica and willingly gives her his paw to have his nails cut (with some treats as incentive!!!) I could go on and on about this incredible Animal Hosptial, but I think the best way to express it is to say that if you love your animal and want the best, cutting-edge, and most importantly the most loving care, treated as if you were family, you owe it to your pet to go to Bond Animal Hospital. If there were a category above excellent I would give it! I have used Bond Animal Hospital over the course of many years and have never had a bad experience. About 2 years ago I arrived there with my 8 week old puppy that had parvo. In this age group it is almost always fatal the chance of survival is just so slim. They advised me of this but when I wanted to proceed they did so with gusto. I have them to thank for my beautiful healthy 2 year old Shiloh Shepherd. More recently my older dog Leah was diagnosed with a very bad form of cancer. They helped with decisions that needed to be made- did surgery and cared for her in her final days. I have found the entire staff to be wonderful. I have dealt extensively with Dr. Martin- she called me from the airport to discuss my pups progress! Dr. McKenzie did surgery on my Leah and when she developed post op bleeding drove her to the overnight hospital himself. Dr Silver treated Leah when she developed colitis and was so sick I thought it was the end for her but she did fine. The staff is wonderful- I wish they could clone Patty- she is a gem. All the staff is kind and helpful. I would advise anyone looking for a vet to chose Bond- they are awesome.

Should be ashamed of yourselves. Dog had tail accident charged me 4500 for 2 operations and stitches burst both times. I went to bond because my regular vet was on vacation. I took my dog to my vet when my vet came back after 2 operations and my vet stitched up my dogs tail for 750 dollars and did it succesffully . 3 operations I will never forget the callus doctors at this facilities who had no problem charging 4500 dollars for 2 botched surgeries.
Maybe the doctors where not callus but it is unconscionable to charge 2x after botching both surgeries along with the suffering of my dog. If my vet was able to do the operation right the first time he did it why did bond fail both times and charge both times? Pia the office manager responded and confirmed the above and her solution was to let bygones be bygones and to come back to Bond which is obviously unacceptable. This is all well and good but my review should not be expunged from the rest of their only good reviews and be viewable only when logged in to google. I would like google to contact me and let me know why my original review was deleted from read public as everything I stated was coroborated by pia.

The Bond Animal Hospital is the best one Ive experienced for my cat, Beau, starting from July 2008 on his hyperthyroid treatment. Since then, due to his developing multiple illnesses year after year along with his aging process until his death in November 2011 at age 16+, the doctors and staff at Bond treated him very well and carefully. Beau was gentle, patient, and had plenty of affection toward me, but very shy at the same time. People at Bond always greeted him (& me) cheerfully with a big smile at each visit. I felt that his shyness and nervousness had gradually melted away with peoples cheerful faces surrounding him. Bonds peoples professionalism treating pets & pets owners was, I believe, real and reliable. There was always a human touch attached to their dealing with pets, which didnt look like just doing business for money for each of them to me. They must truly love pets/animals. That made me beleive that Bond was more reliable and more comfortable to make visits for may cat than any where else I experienced with in the past. Bond people treated Beaus final minutes with dignity and love as well. I couldnt thank them enough for that.

I recently brought my latest addition to the family, a ten-year-old, blind Yorkie, to Bond Animal Hospital for an initial check-up with Dr. McKenzie. Among my pets, little Colin makes lucky #7 to become a current patient at Bond. Over the many years that I have been a client, my cats, dogs, and rabbits have received state-of-the-art professional care in a kind and caring atmosphere. High tech diagnostics and compassionate care have contributed to the longevity of my furry family members. Fully accredited, Bond Animal Hospital delivers the highest caliber of veterinary medical care. My pets are not the only ones who have benefited from our association with Bond Animal Hospital. Thanks to Dr. Aspros social media expertise, I have been inspired by his Facebook posting to pursue my LVT. For those who like to complement allopathic medicine with other alternatives, Dr. Silva is a good listener who adds her expertise to the mix. If you have an exotic pet, Rob Moore is kind, thorough, and knowledgeable, and with his own rescued rabbit, a kindred spirit. Its no surprise that Bond Animal Hospital was rated tops in Westchester County!
