My parents and I came in at 8pm because my dad hurt his foot. We waited for 30 min before they called us in. All they did when calling my dad in was check his temperature and his blood pressure. Then they told us to go to the waiting room and wait to be called. Another 30 min go by then the doctor calls us in and tells my dad he needs an x ray so he had to wait in the waiting room again and wait to be called in by the x ray tech. 45 minutes go by. My mom asks the reception nurse where the x ray tech is. The nurse wakes up the x ray tech. They do the x ray then my dad is sent back to the waiting room. Hes told that they have to send the x rays to some other place to read the x ray and tell my dad whats wrong. My question is how does a person become a doctor without being able to read an x ray. We wait for an hour to be called in by the doctor and the doctor tells my dad he has a fracture and needs to go to the emergency room. We leave this place over 3 hours after we arrived. My dad goes to the ER and they tell him he doesnt have a fracture, its just a sprain. We wasted an entire night at montefiore for an x ray that they are incapable of reading.

This is the worst Monte office I have ever been too. At the moment I need a medical clearance letter from my PCP for surgery. I wanted the first appointment of the day because I did not want to take another day off work due to the fact that I would need to be out at least 6 weeks due to the surgery. I was told that surgery patients needing clearance can not be seen until an hour after the office has been open. I think this is ridiculous. I took an 11:15am appointment, but my PCP is always running late. The front desk staff never tells you the doctors are running late which happens often. This is the worst Monte location ever!

The worst - had appointment for 10:30am. Receptionists never said MD running behind schedule or he will be with you shortly. Never acknowledged Id been sitting there for over an hour. All having their own personal conversations oblivious people in lounge area longer than necessary. Finally escorted to room at 12:30pm only to wait another 30 minutes. I got dressed, requested a refund and left. Never again Monti. Piss poor service, unprofessional, and inconsiderate to patients.

I got to the front door at 4:50pm just find out that it was close when the sign says that it is open until 5:00 pm...I asked the Security Guard why is it close when its not 5pm yet.he just turn his back and didnt say anything to me through the window, if the sign say 5 pm then close at 5 pm why are you closing the doors to the public at 4:50 pm? I really feel that someone should look into this matter.

American Medical is degraded Dr. Burke is offensive upon entering his examination room, rude and condescending. If you love being openly disrespected, by all means, come and find out. Negligence, disrespectful, condescending, rude. Office staff in state of suspension I will not be back again

The wait time is ridiculous. We arrived early, to avoid such a calamity. But tried and true, this office never fails to put poor time management ahead of patient care.
