I highly recommend Dr. Stern and staff. I found this dental office using my insurance website and I was very impressed with the Dr, the facility as well as the staff. Everyone conducted him/ herself with the highest level of professionalism from the receptionist who welcomed us with a big smile and was extremely helpful in filling out the forms, while I was in with one of my twins seeing the Dr, she went ahead and completed the forms for my other twin, the assistant was also very nice, made my 3 year old twins very comfortable and was very patient even though they were all over the place! The waiting room had two IPad Mini with plenty of games to keep children occupied. The consultation room left both my son and my daughter mezmorized with tons of Disney characters on the wall along with the Tv that had cartoons on it. Dr. Stern made my kids at ease on their first dental visit, he was nice, friendly, very informative with a great sense of humor. He made me aware of several cavity preventative measures, demonstrated the proper way of brushing my kids teeth and most of all, made my kids laugh while they had their teeth checked. When my kids were done, they were given prizes such as their favorite characters stickers, balloons and toys. We all had a blast at his office and we cant wait for the next visit. Dr. Stern, I cant thank you enough for making my kids visit very pleasant!

I recently visited the office of Dr. Stern with my daughters, through a friends recommendation. When we walked in, we were greeted by his assistant Laura, who was very friendly and accommodating. The waiting room had two iPads for the girls to play with, which was a definite plus! Furthermore, the examination room was very kid friendly, decorated with cartoon characters, filled with stuffed animals and a TV screen playing kid friendly shows. During the exam, both the doctor and the assistant remained professional, positive and made all the procedures very easy and quick. Dr. Stern explained everything that he did before he did it and let the girls touch and feel the instruments that he used. He continuously used praise and lots of words of encouragement to make the girls feel comfortable, calm, patient and safe during the exam. As a parent who was in the room the entire time, I felt very secure and positive that my children were in good hands! After the procedures, the girls got to chose their own prizes and received a goody bag with a new toothbrush and toothpaste, which they were really excited about! Dr. Stern followed up with me soon after to make sure all was well. I was very pleased to have met Dr. Stern and his assistant! I would recommend this doctor to anyone who has children! It was definitely a 5 star experience!

Dr. Rod and his staff made my 1 year old son and 3 year old daughters first dental visit and enjoyable. In each patient room, there are tons of fun cartoon characters on the walls. From Mickey to the characters of Toy Story. It was a delight. Dr. Rod made my children feel so special and he was so informative on brushing techniques and types of brushes and toothpaste to use. The receptionist and dental assistant were both lovely and made us feel very comfortable and welcome upon arrival. Parking is easy! Its right outside the front door! Checkin was also a breeze! There are mini iPads for the children to play with while waiting, there were also televisions in every room with cartoons playing for the kids. I have already recommended a friend and I definitely will be telling more people about this office.

This was our second visit to Dr. Rods office and it was as great an experience as the first time. Erin, Dr. Rods dental hygienist, is very hands on. She was really thorough with the cleaning, without making my son feel uncomfortable, or putting him through distress. Dr. Rod is also very friendly and professional, with a great bedside manner. I am extremely happy that I found this dental practice so close to home. I myself work in the dental field (for an orthodontist on the upper westside of Manhattan), and knowing first hand what good quality dental care is, I must state that Dr. Rods office is right up there with the best of the best.

I took my child here for a routine visit. The girl at the desk was very nice and pleasant. The doctor was very friendly. I cant say the same for the assistant although she was nice she didnt interact with me at all and was somewhat rude at times. They were very quick to do xrays on my child which to me is unnecessary radiation for a 4 year old who is having no pain and is there for a routine cleaning. My daughter also ended up with a sore on her lip from the machine. My overall opinion is that this dentist lacked the experience I was looking for and I didnt feel comfortable at all. I wont be back to this office.

The staff is excellent!!! The dental assistants are kind to the children, take their fears away and make the experience fun for them. Krystal the receptionist is friendly and extremely helpful. Dr.Rod Stern is very thorough and explains in a manner that is easy for both (Myself and my daughter) to follow and comprehend.My daughter 7 year old daughter had a bad experience from a previous dentist and after having Dr. Rod worked on her teeths, shes very pleased to say "SHE LOVES THE DENTIST" I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking a fantastic dental practice for their children. My first time at the office and I have to say I was very impressed. Since the moment I called and spoke to Crystal the receptionist, I felt very welcomed. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The dentist Dr. Rod Stern was very professional, informative and very knowledgeable. My appointment was at 4pm and 4:30pm with my two children. We were finished by a little under 5pm. My children and I were very happy and they were actually looking forward to going back. The assistant even made them balloon animals which was pretty cool. I would definitely recommend this dentist.

From the moment I called and spoke to Crystal I felt very welcome!! It was our first time in the office, and I was totally impressed, very helpful staff. Dr. Rod was very professional, knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I was a little nervous about how my 5 year old son would react since hes not too fond of the dentist, but I have to say that Dr. Rod and his assistant made him feel so comfortable and made the experience so much fun, that now he likes the dentist and cant wait to go back!! without a doubt the best kids dentist office Ive been to!!

We have a happy two year old who loved going to the dentist. How often can you say that?!?! We had a wonderful experience from the moment we walked through the door. The entire staff was very positive, outgoing, and friendly. My daughter was scared and not very cooperative at first but Dr. Rod knew just what to do. He was very accommodating and pulled out his tricks to make her feel very comfortable and at ease. He was very informative and caring. It was a great trip to the dentist and she is still playing with her balloon animal.
