I would have rated less than one star if I could. My daughter woke up with a fever of 102.5 I gave acetaminophen to get it down and called Dr. Skelton. They said that they could get us in at 12:45 the next day. The next day we got there @ 12:30 and filled out paper work. We didnt get in a room until 3:00 and didnt see the Dr until almost 4. She listened to her heart/lungs and began to talk to me about something totally unrelated. I told her the reason I left the other Dr was due to them not listening to me and not taking care of her. She just kept on rambling. I then asked her if they had any acetaminophen because her fever was back up. 10 mins later a nurse came in and said, "hmm you were right... its 103.3" 10 mins later came the acetaminophen. And then the Dr came back with anti-biotics and nothing else, but, "take these and come back to see us." Whatever.... not going back ever. She needs to retire and let a real Dr take over

My son was treated by Dr. Skelton on a Wednesday and she prescribed him an over-the-counter cough medicine along with some other prescribed meds. I called on Friday mornin and nicely requested that she call my son in something strong for cough .I was not called back as was stated by their office. I called this afetrnoon , a second time, to ask again and would they please do it soon so that I wouldnt have to make a second trip to Waverly. I called pharmacy shortly before 7 and she still hadnt called anything in. I had taken my son to her cause I thought she was one of a few Doctors that actually still give a crap, I was wrong to have trusted her with the care of my child. Now my son is coughing his head off , not resting, and Im tired too from him keeping me awake. She will not treat my child again. He has honestly received better care from a nurse practitioner. I would not take a dog to her know. Ms. Dickson

Dr. Skelton has taken care of me since I was a little girl. She is the only doctor in Waverly that we trust. You may have to wait a while, but the care you receive is totally worth it. The Nurse Practioner there is fabulous! I am 20 and still go here just because of the quality of the care. I dread the day when I have to go somewhere else.
