I have used this vet for a very long time But now I HV sm reservations about them I went in and one employee lied to me rg to my face And it actually shocked me I ask for a coupon that the company sends to them to gv out to there customers and I ask this employee there for one and she looked at me straight in the eye and lied and said that they didnt have any yet And its not like I dont spend 60 bucks a month on these pills It was the fact that she lied and they did HV them cause she thought I must have left and a customer walked up to the counter and ask her for one and I couldnt believe it when she told her to wait a minute and handed her one After she just lied to me I was hurt and angry Cause I HV spent alot of money with this vet and for her to lie to lie to me Shocked me And I Couldnt believe it I emailed the company and ask them if they send these coupons for show or for the vets office to gv to customers and I was emailed BK and ask what vet and then told That they are sent to promote there product and to gv there loyal customers a break on there product I didnt gv the company the vets office name Cause I dont believe that it was the office It was the liar that works there and I apologise for saying that But that is what she is A liar Cause someone that can look at u straight in the eye and not blink and lie Is considered a liar in my book I will continue to us this vet Cause I trust them and they r the Best But this person in the front Well I will never speak to her again And the NexGuard Company told me to inform them again if this happens If I ask for a free coupon and if its not given to me And I will Cause I told them I purchased these pills monthly and I felt like I needed a break and Hey thats why they send these out and they told me I exactly correct That they received 2017 coupons at the end of 2016 and she told me that they had not sent them yet And they wanted to know what office this happened at and I told them I couldnt tell them and I was sorry but I couldnt and they understood But to inform them again if I ask and was told that to call them and they gave me the reps name and I told them ok Im sorry everyone at Animal Hospital for this But not one customer is better than any other customer And this person was just being I dont know Dishonest and u needed to know that you HV a dishonest person working at the front And I just wonder how many people she has said that to Cause those coupons are not to keep They r to be given to customers Thank u for all the Great work u do and for the respect and help u have given me and my fur babies

After taking our familys pets & strays to Walker County Animal Hospital for as long anyone can remember, my wifes seriously ill cat was turned away, and told she was are banned for life. The first reason given was she had "bashed" them on Facebook. What she had done, was leave a pointedly negative review on Facebook. Several years ago WCAH treated & released our other cat home for a severe urinary tract blockage (we were told he was peeing normally). Two days later he collapsed & almost died from ammonia poisoning, caused by a severe urinary blockage at the Birmingham Humane Society. These trips cost us $1300 cumulatively. Yet instead of reaching out & trying to find out what went wrong, she was banned without any notice, and only informed today to her complete and heartbroken surprise. She was left so distraught that her mother called and spoke with management, who then accused my wife of raising her voice, cursing (!?!), and being totally rude at a staff member years ago, after being informed Walker Animal Hospitals no longer did payment-plans by check. Afterwards, they saw her negative review on Facebook. Hence, the permanent surprise ban. My wife of 8yrs is the most empathetic, loving, considerate, polite, & quiet woman Ive ever met; such behaviour as they described is so far outside her nature & capability, that its gone past the far side of ridiculous. She struggles with severe social anxiety & stress, which make it impossible for her to behave as accused in public, and never once in her familys memory has she acted as that manager described. Even more disgustingly, they refused to treat our cat, after my mother-in-law and I asked if we could him back on our own dime. This finally cemented the fact that its personal for some reason, aside from being vindictive and hugely unprofessional. The complete lack of integrity & respect the responsible manager used to justify their juvenile and harmful action, was made perfectly clear by insulting my wifes character, and denying her most loved pet the care he desperately needs. This has been nearly the poorest and petty example of customer service Ive ever encountered, anywhere in the world. But of far more concern, is that the management of Walker County Animal Hospital truly cared about animals, they certainly wouldnt ban the owner for life over a negative review. To treat a lifelong customer that way is very strong indication that management cares more about image and income.

We had to put down my daughters pup due to a congenital defect. The staff was very caring and supportive. Both my daughters where crying. I had to step in and be the one who was with Rex when it happened. While in the room the doc and staff was very supportive and made me feel better.

Caring, and highly competent people. These doctors and the staff clearly care about the animals they serve. One of my dogs was operated on here and had to spend the night. All went very well. Highly recommend.
