I used to like this place as I have been going there for over 10 years. However, I have to say their "care" has dropped of dramatically. As a pet owner of 2 dogs they became family members. Two instances made me stop going there. One of which my dog was unable to walk less than a day after being given several shots. I called and called and it took over 24 hours for a response. To which I was told they did nothing wrong and it could not have possible that my otherwise healthy dog was unable to move the same leg that the shots were given in and was told is was a coincidence, then I was told I was over-reacting. The second incident came up recently as my other dog had been very sick. We took him in and they prescribed typical back meds. No tests no nothing. A week later my dog was nearly lifeless and would scream every time he came near. That day I was rather behind with work items and was juggling a big problem for a customer. I put in a call to the vet that morning and by noon I got a response. I asked the Vet to give me 10 minutes and to call me back and I have a issue I need to deal with. She told me she could not as she was leaving for the day. 10 YEARS of business and they couldnt give me 10 minutes? I asked her if someone could come to my house. I need help. I cannot touch my dog and they offered no assistance what so ever. I offered to pay whatever it would cost. They flat out didnt offer any services to help me. Later that day I called, they knew exactly who I was and told them I would not be returning because I felt like they did not care about my animals and we were just a cash flow and nothing more. To which I got a reply of "Thanks, Ill notify management"... Who I never heard back from. They lost a 10 YEAR customer and didnt show the slight bit of care. Well! Thats fine! Ill say it with my reviews. Their care is subpar, and their attitude even more so. I found a mobile vet clinic "In the dog house" who bent over backwards to help my Bennie. I will never go back to Grand. I wouldnt bring a cockroach in there for care.

I love my cats, they mean the world to me and I dont think I could trust them to anyone else for their needs. Ive been going to them since the place was still on Grand Ave. and Ive never had any problem w/them. They love animals and go that extra mile to help them live a happy, healthy life. The only problem I have w/them is that they are not an ER for when I need them at 0300 hrs. Everything else they do is top notch and I couldnt think of anything they need to improve on. My bill is always fare, never have they over charged me, never have I had to say something or try and lower my bills. I wouldnt expect or ask them for a lower price because of all the work, and time they put into your furry family members. My seven cats are living a very long healthy life, my Kiki bear is the oldest one, 18 years, and theyve cared for him so well hell live another 10 years. Dont take my word though, Im just a simple man whod do anything for my family and trusting the doctors at Grand Animal Hospital is a great way for you to start your furry family members of to a long and healthy life. Thank You Grand Animal Hospital! P.s. I cant forget the staff, A+++ all the way, very nice people that also go the extra mile and are their if you have concerns or just need to talk to someone to ease your mind.

Our dog had a simple eye infection. The veterinarian proclaimed that it could be tumors. I explained the situation of how it progressed from one eye to the other and asked if tumors were contagious and of course they are not. For some reason which I can only assume to raise the bill the veterinarian pursued all kinds of eye testing including an eyeball pressure test. I was expecting to pay around 100 or less and of course $183.92 was my bill. They charge triple the price of the medicines that I can buy at my local pet store. And they overdiagnosed my dog. Its very discouraging to keep your pet healthy with regular visits to a veterinarian so crooked. I will not be going back for the check up. The $42 charge is to walk in their door alone. I am sure for just a check up it would be double that. Shame on me for not believing the Internet when I researched what was wrong with my dog and her eyes. I couldve spent $5.99 to cure her infection!

If you love you fur child, DO NOT GO HERE!!!! MY DOG DIED AFTER A SIMPLE CHECKUP. READ ON! ----- My dog was hyperventilating since she used to get anxiety attacks often. She also had a collapsed trachea, so it was difficult for her to breathe. Normally, when this would happen on my watch, I gave her anti-anxiety drops which calmed her and would hold her and pet her. This was a simple check-up that turned into a pet owners worst nightmare. I couldnt take her in and had to work, so I had my Dad take her in for me. During the visit she was hyperventilating. They did NOTHING for her and told my Dad to just take her home and let her rest. When I got home from work, she was dead. Dead with her blue tongue hanging out of her mouth. I couldnt believe it. They killed my dog! DONT GO HERE!!!!

Ive been brining my dogs there for 14 years. I started going to them because they were close to home but from the very first time I brought my oldest dog there they were really good with her and extremely thorough. I just adopted a new dog and they have been so nice with him even though hes very people shy. They took time to let him get comfortable and even gave him a healthy treat. Grand Animal Hospital will continue to be my goto Vet for my new family member.

I went to bring my cat in for her first check up to get here rabies shots and the basics - I brought my dog in a week prior and got $400 worth of medicine for him. They were very persistent that I get more shots for my cat, totaling almost $300 dollars- they are scammers and I will never go back because they ask you to schedule appt right after another so you can come back in to give them more money. Im never going back.

They have been our vet for 2 dogs over 20 years and we have consistently gotten excellent service and care. The vets and the techs are well trained and know how to handle difficult animals. They will continue to be our vets unless we leave the area.
