This place is amazing! One day, after work I found my female dog, Miya, laying on her back and drooling. She was barely able to move and she kept pulling her head back. Scared and panicked I drove to the nearest vet, the vet took my dog and instead of telling me what was wrong, began going over a payment plan and said that they were not able to perform any tests until the next day. They also did not give any medication for her spontaneous movements which were later determined to be seizures. Furious, I looked up other vets and called City Animal Hospital. I gave them a call and told them all of the symptoms she was having and they urged me to come immediately. When I arrived, Miya was immediately taken back and was given medicine to calm her. After a few minutes, Dr. Sharma greeted me and began to ask questions regarding her diet, health, and how I found her. He reassured me that she was responding to the medications but there would be a chance that she would not make it through the night. In the morning, she was barely able to hold her head up but she was still alive. Dr. Sharma said that she had made it out of the critical period and now was on her way to recovery. She was not able to stand up nor walk, not able to eat nor drink, and not able to bark nor whine at this point. Through proper treatment and medication, Miya was sitting on her own and she looked a lot more lucid at City Animal Hospital. I was then able to take Miya home with specific instructions for feeding and medication. She was only able to eat through a syringe of a dietary supplement and three different medications. After a week, Miya was able to stand, still wobbly, and eat wet dog food. The advancement in progress was amazing and really showed that the treatment was working! Dr. Sharma was a huge help along the way. Whenever I had a question, Dr. Sharma was always able to answer them. Since then Miya has made a miraculous recovery. She is now a walking, barking, and healthy dog. It has truly been a miracle to see the progress in Miya and Dr. Sharma and his employees all were very helpful and literally saved my dogs life! I would recommend this animal hospital to any pet owners! The services are fantastic and the City Animal Hospital team are very caring. I continue to take Miya and my other dogs to Dr. Sharma. Thank you City Animal Hospital!!

I took my dog here because there was something wrong with her eye and she was not able to open it and had to be seen. I had received a flyer in the mail for a free exam for first time clients and since I was new to the area and didnt have a vet yet, I figured I would try them out. The vet tech came into the exam room coughing and sniffling everywhere. I was cringing to be in the same room with him with my daughter knowing he was there obviously sick. Needless to say, we both were sick a few days later. Why was he at work that day? When the vet came in they aggressively put her on the exam table so she was shaking so hard and her anal glands expressed everywhere. He ran a dye test in my dogs eye and said that the cat had scratched her and he was going to give her some drops for me to take home. He then talked me into getting her anal glands expressed among many other things he tried to push.He had mentioned to get my 15 year old cat declawed which I find to be completely inhumane and I would never suggest to anyone yet alone do to any of my pets. I didnt even think vets did that anymore! When I expressed to him that I thought it was inhumane esp to a cat over a year old his response was well what do you think spaying and neutering is? Are you kidding me?!?!? Completely different things here! What a jerk!!!! Needless to say he ripped me off and I was so shocked when my bill came. My daughter and dog were so uncomfortable in there. My daughter was screaming and my dog was shaking running for the door. Horrible experience this guy should be shut down. I have been to many vets in my life but non as bad as this. Please dont bring your pet here. 3 weeks later and my dogs eye has not improved! I work in the animal industry and when I told my co-workers my experience they were appalled. What a waste of money I wish I took her else where.

I highly regret taking my cat, and best friend, here. The vet handled my adult cat WAY too aggressively. My cat is the sweetest, most loving cat in the world, in my 17 years with her, I have NEVER heard her growl at anyone, but she did at this vet. I did not feel satisfied with his answers to my questions and I feel like I had to ask the same questions over and over again to get a somewhat satisfactory answer. I feel like he did not give me all of my possible options for how to go about taking care of my sick kitty. I am absolutely horrified at how rough he was with her to get a urine sample (she had it done at other vets and was slightly uncomfortable, but nothing like the howling discomfort she experienced here). I am worried he may have injured or bruised her because she was having difficulty walking immediately after he handled her so roughly. I was absolutely mortified by this experience and was in tears by the time we got home. He charged me $300 for an exam and blood work. I was not allowed to be with her while they were drawing blood (this is very unusual for a vet clinic, every other place I’ve been to, they do everything right in front of me, even let me hold her, and explain to me everything that is going on), which took 20 minutes and he handed her back to me with a shaved neck and alcohol AND BLOOD all over her fur. I do not trust this doctor and don’t know if I can forgive myself for not taking my cat and walking right out of that clinic after seeing how rough he was with her initially. This visit also didn’t even address the issue my cat was having, or any issue. I feel like he abused my cat and stole my money. I hate this place. I will never return.

Worst vet experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this to anyone. It was very dirty and unsanitary. I had to come here unexpectedly because my cat had a UTI and this place was the only place that could get me in the same day so that part was great. But everything about it was just sketchy and awkward. Every time the vet tech and vet would either come in or leave the evaluation room I was in they wouldnt close the door and my cat could have ran out if I didnt close it right away. Then the vet kept trying to convince me to get my cat declawed and said it was a "painless procedure". My cat is 3 and past the age that is recommended for that. The thermometer that he put in my cats rear didnt even get cleaned afterwards, he just put it back in the container on the counter. They also charged me $160 for the "exam", medication, and shots (dont even know what these were for). He just wrote down these numbers with out referencing any price log. Did he just pull these numbers out of his ass?? Very unsatisfied and would never go back.
