Weve been going to CARE for several years for everything from regular check-ups to surgeries. Overall, it is the best veterinarian clinic Ive been to both in the area and out. I definitely trust most of the staff here compared to other clinics weve been to. Almost all of the front staff are friendly and courteous and the ones who were not in the past no longer work there. The vet techs are always very caring with my pets and answer any questions I have. Yes, we have one main vet here, but have seen almost every vet here. You can request to see the same vet every time, but if you want to get in sooner then you can see whatever vet is available. I do have a preference for a vet, but again, have not had a problem with the others when we see them. I will say that the cleanliness of the clinic has declined since we started going here many years ago. They used to vacuum and sanitize every room after each pet left before the next came. Without fail now, every time I take my dogs into a room, there is pet hair all over and it is usually cat hair, which we are allergic to at my house. The lobby floor also used to be clean and mostly free of balls of pet hair, not so much anymore though. I wouldnt say the clinic is dirty, but it is not as clean as it used to be mostly because I think they stopped vacuuming during business hours and maybe only do it in the evening. Maybe they think there isnt much of a change, but I absolutely can tell a difference and note the lack of cleanliness each time Im there. As far as prices go, I do spend a lot of money and many things we have done are very costly here. But, I cant say whether their prices are higher than the next clinic. They do give you an estimate before any procedure they do and I have to say the actual total usually comes out to be on the high side of the estimate. And also, you have to pay for follow-up visits or post-op appointments which I think is not right with the amount of money people pay for the actual procedures. That being said, I am obviously willing to pay the prices for the care that my animals receive here. Bottom Line: There are a few vets here that are really great and that I really trust with my pets. Services here can be costly, but I dont know if they are any less expensive elsewhere. I do wish they would be more attentive to the cleanliness of the clinic like they used to. And probably the best thing about this clinic is that there are some front desk ladies and some vet techs who are so nice and pleasant and always make you feel comfortable taking your pet there.

I would like to say this place is great. My husband and I have been having problems trusting vets as late and Dr. Neil restored some trust. We have 5 dogs and 1 cat we had 2 cats, but unfortunately we had to let go of one she was 18 Las week. However yesterday 6/6/17 we brought our min pin in she is our only small dog. She wasnt eating or drinking the whole staff was very kind even gave her a blanket sprayed with a pheromone to help keep her calm. Dr. Neil was very thorough about everything she did and made sure it was ok with us before she did it. Our min pin has very large lipoma on her leg it has been removed this third time has wanted to touch without one immediately jumping to amputation their surgeon is willing to do it and thinks she can do it without amputation, provided her blood work comes back OK. Also the prices were not all that bad. All and all we really like it there and we may switch all our fur babies to them. Thank You everyone at Care Animal Hospital

If I could give them zero stars I would. Took my dog to them and was told he had an inoperable lung tumor. Vet stated I didnt need to make a decision that day to "take him home and love him up for a couple weeks". He also told me he was on call all weekend and I should page him if anything happened over the weekend. That same night my dog was in distress and having a hard time breathing. I paged the doctor several times with no response. I rushed him to the ER Clinic in Racine - he died on the way there. Will never forgive them for making one of the worst nights of my life harder than it had to be.

The staff is all very knowledgeable and provide gentle but quality care for my pet. My kitten recently got two surgeries done, and Dr. Carney and the other techs did a wonderful job on explaining her pre surgery and after care pain medication routine. They gave her a cone to keep from biting at the stitches, which look to be healing well. The front staff is friendly except one younger blonde women, who comes off a little rude. All in all, im still quite pleased with the care my pet receives while staying here. They are a bit pricey, but the quality and care you and your pet recieve is well worth it

Care is convenient for me to go to, BUT! They are expensive; every time I go, I get a different vet. Theres only so much a record can tell about a dog. My negativity towards CARE started when they misdiagnosed my pets (2). Wrong medication and a surgery that would cost us $5000 churned my stomach. No doubt, CARE staff is always helpful and happy to see you and your pets. The lack of luster from the veterinarians was what killed me. For a general vet- CARE is great, but if you have a pet who needs a lot of vet attention, I would suggest going somewhere else.

WORST ANIMAL HOSPITAL EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0 stars. Well for one, every time we take our dogs in for routine visits it ends up costing us $200-$300. Now we just took the male pup in to get fixed and they botched surgery so they had to go in again and keep him overnight, so guess who ends up paying for this in the end WE DO! We were originally told it would be $250 now they are charging us over $700 for their screw up. Awful place beware do not take your pets to this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We love Care Animal Hospital! Weve been taking out two cats -- who have chronic health problems and need regular meds and prescription food -- to Care for years. They always do their best to get us in as soon as possible, and all of their vets are top-notch. The front desk staff is very cheerful and helpful. Even the vet techs are great. And they dont charge us for checkups when we return to have our cats evaluated after going through a new treatment. I would highly recommend Care Animal Hospital to anyone!

Russ and all the doctors are highly knowledgeable and always take good care of your pet, their surgeons are artists and the vet techs are awesome. Ive been with them for almost 14 years and theyve cared for all 7 of my highly active hunting dogs from stitches and infections to surgery and cancer and they always have the answer. Im not the easiest client in the world but the staff at Care still delivers all-star service and results. Thats why I point all my clients to Care.
