Honestly the only reason im giving this a one star is cause theres nothing lower. Since my first time visiting i had a bad encounter, im a part of the " Gold Puppy Package" cause i thought it would be worth having it and "Saving money". The plan is that you pay for a whole year, i payed the 90$ starting fee and ended up having to pay the 61$ monthly few days later cause they charge every month on the same day, but they didnt warn me about it so i could just enroll the day they charged, so nice right? Awesome thing is you get a free visit but when they ask you to come back to check up on your pup you usualy have to pay a $15 fee for talking to the doctor. But good thing is you get such an amazing 10% discount.. wow Also i had my dog recently nutered, i hesitated cause the staff were giving me different prices about medications and such every time i asked for an estimate. I paid for the surgery itself. Even then i went again to get a printed out estimate and it CLEARLY told me the medication were covered for 4 days. It ended up resulting that i HAD to pay for medication which only wasnt right, i HAD to go back and get the right one and they only gave me 3 days worth of medicine for my dog. they couldnt even have there word on the piece of paper they gave me. Save your time and money this only honestly rips you off and does you way beyond bogus. hope yall dont go through this.

If you choose Hanover Park, do not see anyone but Dr. Rodriguez. Judging by my visits she seems to be a good vet and comes highly recommended. However, I am sad that I trusted the others in her practice. I am emotional, but confident I lost my dog because of the Dr. "in charge" of his care the following day after surgery. Do not use them for any late in day emergencies, go to Blue Pearl or Golf Rose as they will send your dog an hour+ drive in the car so they keep the business at their Countryside IL location, as they are not 24hrs. I was talked into that and wished in hindsight they told me about Blue Pearl, who they proudly post on a sticker on the front door window. Three other vet offices never heard of such practice, they always refer to an emergency vet. Oh, and for more car rides, after he died in their care, they sent the dog to Cedar Lake Indiana for cremation. After the nightmare I had, they double charged me for cremation on top of it. Stay away, for sure for late day emergencies!

I brought my 9 mo old puppy here, he was vomiting and had very loose stool. After a stool test (negative) and an examination I was sent home with some meds. My baby got worse, the doctor called and I was to pick up different meds and try those. After seeing my baby suffer for over a month ( the meds not working) I took him to another doctor who gave him a simple test for a parasite that is wide spread in puppies and usually contracted around kennels. He tested positive and is now struggling to get rid of this parasite. I was not offered or explained a direct solution for his problem but a slow money sucking try this - try that technique. I even had a conversation with the director to explain my disatisfaction and all she tried to do was upsell me on more tests. NO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AT ALL - NO CONCERN IN MAKING THE PUPPY HEALTHY JUST $$$.

I cannot tell you how much I love the caring and professional staff at Hanover Park Animal Care Center. We have been going to them to care for our cat, Tigger, who lived a very healthy life until he was over 17 years old, and for all of the dogs we have had in the last 25+ years. We started with Dr. Rodriguez even before she opened this Center, and have continued with her here as well. We also have had the experience of a few of the other vets that are at the Center, and have never been disappointed in the care they have shown to our animals. They all take the time to explain everything that is being done, and why, and they follow up with a phone call to make sure our pet is doing well after a sick visit or surgery. If you are looking for a caring place, with convenient hours, this is the place to bring your pet.

We have been with Dr. Rodriquez since she was in her original location in a strip mall. She has always been very thorough in her exams and has taken care of all my various dogs and cats. Her new facility is beautiful and offers a variety of services. Its like one step shopping. Our current dog "Dolly" loves all her staff and her tail wags no matter what. We have also used the boarding services and Grooming services. Dolly loves to be boarded here and comes home afterwards a happy girl. I have had very bad experiences with other boarding facilities. My pets came home traumatized. Its such a comfort that she actually loves going there. The staff from the receptionists, Doctors and Vet techs, grooming and boarding staff are attentive and kind. I would give them 12 stars if I could. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

This is the place that lost my dog!!! We took a tour of the place and loved. Keeping her there for four nights. On August 8th. She was missing by 7pm that same day. They decided to take her outside the kennel without a proper lease and now she is gone!! Supposedly she got loose from 3 leads an took off jumped in a pond and ran. When it happened they called us 4 hours after the fact. We are now traveling back 8 hours in the car from vacation. This place is horrible and my dog better be ok!!! Its 85 degrees outside and she is missing!!!! Get ready in 4 hours when we get there!!!

We absolutely love Dr. Rodriguez and the entire staff at Hanover Park Animal Care Center. Everyone is kind, caring and compassionate. The treatment my pet has received through the years is outstanding. Everyone goes above and beyond to take great care for your needs. Again, Dr. Rodriguez and all the doctors are wonderful. The entire crew is great. It is a joy to have my pet be a part of this amazing facility. I cant think of a better place for anyones beloved pet. We are their biggest fans!

I had the privilege of meeting Chaplin while delivering newspapers in winter, and found him living outside in a recycle bin. I had been feeding him daily for some weeks when I decided to do more. He was in awful condition- under nourished, sneezing, infected eyes, fleas and ear mites and mange. I put him in a box and brought him directly to Hanover Park Animal Hospital. Needless to say, he is doing wonderfully now. Thank you Dr. Rodriguez and staff. Sincerely, Christopher and Chaplin.

I transferred to Hanover Park just over a year ago when my usual vet was fully booked for boarding. They were a little farther away, and a little more expensive, but I havent even considered going back to my old vet. The staff at Hanover Park are friendly and caring, and the facility is clean and quiet. My cat used to get incredibly stressed at my previous vet where the sounds of barking dogs was a constant; now hes much calmer and happier, and so am I.
