Dr. Eric is great. He has always said that he wanted to establish his dental practice in Alabama near his family where he could do the most good. I am glad to see that he has done so. Disclosure up front: Years ago I used to live with Dr. Peterson in college. However that does not affect my review of him nor my views of his practice. I have visited the office and can say it seems like a great place (as far as dentist offices go). Very clean, relaxed, and the staff (not knowing I was Erics friend) were always helpful. My first appointment with Eric is September for a checkup and some whitening, and I have to say I am not nervous at all. I have never been very comfortable at the dentists office, but knowing Eric I am sure everything will be just fine. Knowing Eric as both a friend and a professional I could not suggest anyone else. After being roommates in college and then vicariously living through his dental school studies, I have to say that he is the only dentist I will be attending in the future. The same goes for my kids, they love Eric. Eric is a kind, patient, knowledgeable and down to earth guy. His staff seem friendly and helpful. The office is brand new, hi-tech, and very clean.I know where I am comfortable, and it usually isnt at the dentists office, but I know I will be treated right at Erics place. My dentist of many years moved to another city, so I had to shop around for a dentist. I chose Peterson Dental based on a friends recommendation. I went to Peterson Dental today and saw Dr. Tran. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They offered a new patient special and saved me money, which is a plus! Dr. Tran was very sweet and very thorough. She actually told me that I didnt need a filling yet, since the cavity was so small. I could tell she loves what she does. Everyone in the office was extremely polite and friendly! I would definitely recommend this dental office for anyone who wants an honest and kind dentist. UPDATE: I have gone now and seen Dr. Peterson for a broken filling. He was very caring, professional, and appears to be honest and upfront. He explained to me what was going on throughout the procedure and called me later that day to check on me.

Dr. Peterson and his staff are always extremely welcoming, personable, professional, and thorough! Dr. Peterson was extremely knowledgeable and eager to answer any of my questions. I really appreciated Dr. Peterson, Kristen, and Reginas (aka Momma Bear) willingness to describe each step during my procedure; he managed my high expectations which calmed any anxiety I felt before arriving. The entire Peterson Dental practice is very attune to its patients current needs and health history/background. They are willing to go above and beyond to accommodate and are successful in doing so. I would highly recommend Peterson Dental to everyone I know! I personally worked in the medical field last 12 years and I have not seen this type of patient care in many many years, nor have I ever rated a business or physician! Thank you immensely Dr. Peterson and your amazing staff!

First of all, the rating is a 2 because it is a very clean place and Dr. Petersen himself was nice. However, after I had told them that I would not be coming back, the trouble started. No names mentioned, but this person was very rude. Repeating, "you have [amount of insurance left] left. I dont get why wouldnt want to use it. Is there something that you arent telling me?" Secondly, theres no reason to tell them any personal information or give them a reason for leaving. When I had first contacted this place, within the first day or so they called my number 4-8 times. I appreciate being updated but please do not abuse it. Overall, I understand the need for business but being overly pushy is not the way to go. After telling them not to bill my insurance, they went ahead and did so. This is a disaster that I never wanted to happen. Be aware.

I initially went to Dr. Peterson after a bad experience with my old dentist. The customer service and overall experience was phenomenal!! Dr. Peterson takes the time to discuss the exam and I never feel rushed. Shortly afterwards, my husband and two young children changed to Dr. Peterson as well and they love him and the staff. The office is welcoming with massaging chairs, music on demand and updated x-ray equipment that doesnt hurt when you bite down (I have always hated that part of the exam)! The girls are always excited to go to the dentist, which is less stressful to me (both under the age of 10). I have recommended him to friends who also rave about the practice. If you are looking for a new dentist, I would definitely recommend Peterson Dental!

I havent been to the dentist in about 8 years because of a bad experience but I seen all the positive reviews about Peterson Dental and decided to give them a try. Best choice I could have ever made! This place is wonderful. Everyone is so nice and caring! My husband went with me to my appointment & he dumped his dentist for Peterson!!!! I recommend them to any and everyone!!!
