This dental office is a complete Godsend for my family and I. Upon gaining full custody of my daughter we were searching around for a compassionate dentist. My 8 year old daughter had a horrific experience at a "Pediatric Dentist" in Memphis. To say she was scared of the dentist was and understatement. Just speaking the word "Dentist " would cause fear and have her in tears. Mrs. Terry has a heart of gold as well as a God given talent to ease terrified kids who have had bad experiences prior. She met with my daughter and walked through everything in the office. This was all done before and appointment was even made for work on her teeth. Mrs. Terry made my daughter feel comfortable, and at ease. We made the appointment for a tooth extraction and Dr. Erwin was so gentle and amazing. My daughter now asks when her next appointment is to see Dr. Erwin and Mrs. Terry. I highly recommend this amazing dental office to anyone just looking for a good dentist, or to anyone who needs a compassionate, caring staff to ease fear. Thank you so very much Gateway Family Dentist. You all are amazing. Dr. Erwin youre very gifted at what you do, and are very blessed and privileged to have Mrs. Terry on staff with you.

From the beginning, I was in excruciating pain for my cavity that had gotten infected down to my root. I searched online for a dentist that was open on a saturday and saw Gateway Family dentistry. I immediatly scheduled an appointment that same day and spoke with lovely Terri who made me feel so welcome through the phone. I went to the appointment and was anticiapting for my tooth to be fixed, so amazing Dr.Erwin prescribed me antibiotics to have me comfortable ( i didnt think theyd work but it did!!) Dr.Erwin notified i needed a root canal treatment done. I was so nervous about my root canal procedure, from reading horror stories online, but as soon as i recieved anesthetic medication I was at ease and the whole process of the root canal treatment was lovely. Literally I was laid back watching a movie with headphones in my ears. I felt ZERO pain, not even when the anesthetic was put in. Im glad to call this dentist MY dentist and recommend it to everybody. I love the staff, and I just want to give a special thank you to Terri and Dr.Erwin for being just that awesome.

This place has got to be the best dentist office that I have ever been to. The staff is phenomenal and Dr Erwin is perhaps the best doctor in the Boro. I went into Gateway feeling very apprehensive about everything. The staff will make you feel like you are at home and everyone there does their very best to make you comfortable. If you have to go to a dentist, you dont need to look any further. This is the very best I have have ever been to or seen. Terry is absolutely wonderful in explaining everything that is going to happen during your procedure. When she tells you something, you better believe it. Thank you to Dr. Erwin, Terry and the rest of the staff for your amazing service. I love my new smile and so does my wife. She finally gets to take pictures of me smiling, and I am no longer embarrassed by an unsightly smile. Love yall to death and I will be seeing you again soon.

Very unlike the drab and dim Dentist offices of my youth, Gateway Family Dentistry is very welcoming and bright from the moment you walk in the door. This was our childs first dentist visit, and his experience was a positive one. Our wait was very brief, and the iPads in the waiting room entertained our son as I reminisced of my childhood dental visits reading the old and tattered Highlights magazines with all the puzzles already solved. Our little guy was even able to watch his favorite cartoons while getting his teeth checked and cleaned. I almost swapped places with him out of jealousy. Dr. Erwin and staff were very friendly and informative, and definitely created the impression on our son that the dentist office isnt a "scary place." I doubt well have to drag him back. He might even want to make his own appointments.

I hadnt been to the dentist in 2 years since I moved to Murfreesboro, so I wanted to make sure I was in the best hands in finding a new one in the area. My first ever cavities were discovered and being nervous about having them filled, the staff and Dr. Erwin reassured me I was in good hands, and that was no lie. They explained the entire process beforehand so I knew what to expect and were very thorough each visit since. They also broke down the out of pocket cost that my insurance didnt cover for each visit which has been extremely helpful in financial planning; I appreciated this extra step. After my last visit where I had 3 cavities filled, the very next day I felt no pain at all and my mouth felt great and like normal. I would absolutely hands down recommend Gateway Family Dentistry to any and everyone!

Gateway Family Dentistry was one of the most pleasant offices Ive ever had the pleasure of walking into, great atmosphere, gateway staff was incredible. Ive been terrified of having to go through a root canal and even lost some of my molars just out of fear of going through the procedure. Dr. Erwin was very knowledgeable and took her time about explaining the procedure to me and making me feel very comfortable and secure about my visit. The day of my visit i walked in confident about the work that was going to be preformed and Dr.Erwin saved my molar that i could not do with out and that other Dentistry s had told me it was not savable and it would need to be removed. Thanks Dr. Erwin and all Gateway staff.

Having not been to the dentist is a very,very long time, to say I was apprehensive about visiting a dental office was a bit of an understatement. After my first visit to Dr. Erwins office , I was blown away by the kindness and sincerity of her and her staff. Their hospitality is unmatched and truly everyone in her office has a genuine care for their patients. Everyone made me feel comfortable and truly eased all my worries. I can honestly say that I do not think I could have found a kinder, more gentle dental office to choose as my own. If you are looking for a dentist who truly cares for their patients and their comfort, look no further than Dr. Erwin and her staff at Gateway Family Dentistry.

I dislike, hate (to strong a word? sorry) going to the Dentist. I feel like I can drop in at Gateway Family Dentistry and and have a cup of coffee like stopping in at a good friends house. No kidding :-). Yes thats how comfortable Dr Irwin, Terri (0ffice manager) and the rest of the staff make you feel. For me that is the first hurdle, to be comfortable then relaxed. OK now lets talk treatment. I am 60yrs old and have been to my share of Dentists the treatment at Gateway Family Dentistry is second to none. By far the best dentist team in TN. They make you feel so at home and welcomed. I hate the dentist so when I had two wisdom teeth that needed to be pulled I was really nervous about it. They were able to get me in the same day for x-rays when I called in tears because of the pain and get me the right medicine to help me before the procedure. They really care about their patients and you can tell they like what they do. Also I made sure to save their number in my phone as BEST DENTIST OFFICE EVER (haha) If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Thank you everyone for everything
