Dont do unnecessary work to your teeth but Dr. Mitchell was very rude.The hygenists was wonderful though. After the cleaning Dr. Mitchell came to inspect my teeth and suggested that I use baking soda or peroxide on the back of my teeth. I told her its probably stained from dranking coffee. She then said under her breath"Must of been alot of coffee." Well what she didnt know is I smoked for 8 years but hadnt smoked in 7 years.When I took my daughter there she wasnt very pleasant then either.

I met Dr Mitchell today and she was one of the most pleasant people I have ever encountered! She is very forthcoming and honest with patients about the work they need to have done...or what they need to be doing on a daily basis to better care for their teeth and avoid having to see her more often. I am switching my daughter from another dentist in Smyrna and bringing her to Dr Mitchell instead. (Also loved the music playing in the office....very uplifting!)

I was told I needed to have cavities filled, I have bad teeth and would probably need a root canal. This was completely contradictory to any other dentist I had ever visited. When I told them this I was asked if I had been eating a lot of chocolate (I had not). I just went to a real dentist today and not only do I not need a root canal I still dont have cavities. Im glad I was smart enough no question them and not have unnecessary surgeries.
