If you have to go to this hospital, take pictures of every form you fill out, get employees names, and follow up with them if you dont receive a bill for your visit. Theyll just send unpaid balances to a collection agency with no effort to contact you! My wife got bit by a dog while we were out of town visiting her parents. Besides waiting for a while, the ER visit itself was fine. The staff was okay and the plastic surgeon was awesome, however the billing department is terrible here. We provided them with our home address and insurance information at the time of visit (while my wife is sitting there bleeding from a jack russell terrier bite). Weeks later we get an invoice from our insurance for the plastic surgeon for around $500, which we paid. But we never got a bill for the actual ER hospital visit. Three months later we are visiting her parents again and a creditor happens to call HER PARENTS house. We are really confused because we never got a bill to our home address (the one we put down on the paperwork). So the hospital decided to send the debt to a collection agency! We never ever received a bill for the ER visit, nor did they try to call us. I am the one who filled out all the paperwork and dont even know her parents phone number or address off the top of my head so there is no reason they shouldnt have contacted us directly. The credit agency said we owed $3800 and that we didnt have insurance coverage at the time of the visit. Not true. The visit should have only been $150 according to our coverage. There was one month we didnt have insurance but the accident happened 4 months before that when we did have it. The hospital claimed that they ran the claim and that our coverage didnt exist. However, our insurance provider said the hospital never submitted any claim to them. That is, until we straightened this nonsense up and threatened to take legal action and the claim was finally submitted. Both the hospital and credit agency were straight up lying to us. Why on earth wouldnt the hospital send a bill to the address we put down on the paperwork? Or call us at the phone number we listed? The billing department is incredibly incompetent and whoever did this should be fired. Instead, we have to handle it, waste our time, and worry about it affecting our credit score when we did nothing wrong and had a great health insurance policy. How is that fair? This whole situation was shady, unprofessional, and should be illegal.

at Jackson Hospital in the ER part my room was clean the staff (nurses and doctors) were polite cant say the same for the people you sign in at the desk with they are lazy fucktards who will tell you anything simply because theyve become comfortable with sitting on their bums all day, so yep they did one of those annoying swab nose swab throat things on me, took blood to see if I had any infections then started an I.V. so that I can get fluids and antibiotics and I had to give a urine specimen when the nurse came she explained to me that Id be getting admitted, now in the holding area they keep you in to wait for a bed for you they are very rude the nurses were too busy watching comedy central, gossiping and laughing and discussing what they were gonna eat for lunch or dinner, I pretty much took care of myself in the holding room also the nurse that took me to the holding room lied to me that I had a room and I was stuck on the 2nd floor with the rudest, laziest technicians and nurses and on top of that the doctor treating me does nof know what he is doing let alone talking about since i have been here i have been asking him what is going on with me, he goes "youre doing great" then leaves but i am on oxygen cause I can barely breathe and they made the entire right side of my body swollen when I told them my veins are dead in my arms due to the P.E. like every other hospital or clinic I go to know this so they always use my hands because honestly there isnt anything but damaged tissue in my arms and no veins, so the dumb nurse still goes in my right arm now I look like the marshmallow from ghostbusters and the entire right side of me is swollen I am not American I am British and I like travelling so when I got sick I came here cause of pain and I will NEVER EVER let them take care of me again, instead of making me feel better theyre making my symptoms worse i am still in the hospital but I hope they let me go home soon before they bloody kill me. and Kay Wilson sounds like she works for Jackson hospital because they are not a wonderful hospital

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST HOSPITAL EVER!!!!!! They have the most inconsiderate, most rude, meanest nurses of ALL TIME. I cried so bad after I had my son there because of the way they treated me. Im 19 years old and had my son in January 6! This was the worst experience ever for me being a first time mother not knowing what to expect. They treated me very poorly. They were mean and dry and didnt care how I felt. They had someone else dried up blood on the walls and underneath my delivery bed before I got there. I told them and they didnt care they ignored me. They never washed their hands at all!!!!! Touched my son after he was circumcised and I simply asked her to put on gloves and she replied my hands are clean.... but how if your hands clean and you just touched my room door and other things. Many of the nurses were sneezing without covering their mouths and also coughing without covering their mouth while giving me my pain medicine. They hate when you ask them questions and they dont answer the questions all the way. With me being in so much pain cause they were being lowdown by giving me an epidural sooo late it half worked for me. It took them 2 hours to give it to me and I came in at 5 cm and they KNEW I WAS DILATING QUICKLY. This was the worst experience me and my mother have ever experienced in our lifetime. If I had to relive this labor I definitely would have went to one of Georgia hospitals. And I must include how impatient they are. I had so many nurses in my room when I was delivering my son I didnt notice until afterwards they basically was in there just to see the experience of me having birth and I never wanted them in there I only wanted my doctor my nurse and my baby doctor and my mother. There was 4 other additional nurses there watching in corners. This is a bad hospital I must admit the staff is horrible. I never felt so hurt in my life afterwards I cried so bad cause of how I was treated.

Horrible! I have never in my live been to a hospital that was this unprofessional. They used to be great and the only hospital I would go to. I had gone there because of severe dehydration and uncontrollable vomiting. Every 30 minutes or more while back in the emergency department, they asked me the same questions such as medications I was taking. Each time I told them but couldnt remember the mg and such. They apparently never wrote it down or something a d 2 of them called my pharmacy and they still would ask me. When I needed anything, I had to yell really loud over and over. Most of the time, I could hear the staff joking and having fun and could hear them complaining about the patients and by their names. They were rude and even after they had all f the information and saw that I have to go to pain management and couldnt keep anything down when I had already been there over 8 hours and could feel the effects of not having it, they were rude and blamed it on me vomiting like I could control it..they still hadnt gotten it under control. When they took me to have an x-ray, the tech pushed my bed so fast and hit mh head on something that was hanging out in the hall. I only saw a doc 1 time and all he did was introduce himself and left me his business card.they eventually admitted me and told me I would see the doctor within an hour. 5 hours passed and no doctor. When I asked the nurse she said he was done on that floor. I eventually checked myself out. I will never go back there, even if I am dying that is how bad it is. The next time it happened,I went to Baptist East and they took good care of me.
