I would not recommend anyone putting their care into the hands of this place. Even out of convenience, there is no point. You will spend a bunch of money just for them to not even get to the root of your problems. They lump everyone under the same category; depressed. Their goal is to get people in, on meds, baby sit until insurance runs out, and then send you home with anxiety to the roof due to the large bill they give you before leaving, expecting you to make first payment the day you leave. I initially talked to a social worker named John about checking in and he told me that it was a 2-3 day program. When i asked if I would be able to check out early if it wasnt working out for me he stated that I could do so and the only repercussion would be that insurance might not pay for the stay if checked out against dr recommendations. Haha. I got there, checked in and at the end of the day I realized that I was in the wrong place. ( I had previously been involuntarily admitted to Rolling Hills 5 years prior so i knew what a psychiatric hospital entailed.) However, i was not talked to like a rational adult anymore once being checked in. Prior to voluntarily admitting myself into Trust Point, which my dad had recommended, I was having terrible anxiety, couldnt eat or get good sleep for two weeks and wanted immediate relief by talking to a therapist and getting a way for a couple days. Also, i had asked john if i would be talking to a therapist and he told me i would every day. I only talked to one 2 times during my stay. When i asked to check myself out I was told that I could so but that they would then hold me there involuntarily for an additional 5 days until a court could decide if I was well enough to leave. I was told by a nurse named Rosemary that John gave me incorrect information and that the average stay was 5-7 days. I asked once to Rosemary and then once to another nurse to see the papers that i signed stating all of that information and was never given them. (Violation of my rights) Not only did i ask, but a loved one called and asked for paperwork as well and it was never provided. After that i stopped asking because they over annalyze everything you do or say once you are in there and I feared to give them any reason to keep me longer. Also while i was in a very vulnerable state of mind the nurse, Rosemary, tried to talk to me about my sexuality after reading my file (very personal ) when I hadnt even reached out to talk about any of my personal issues to begin with.(surely there is a law for that) So i immediately shut her down and told her that i would just stay voluntarily. Also, not even pertaining to my stay, but they neglected to give an elderly woman chemo one day during her stay and lost another girls retainers. So much more to be said but point is, if i ever needed to be checked into a psychiatric hospital again, this place would not be an option as i left worse than i came in and now owe so much money for what seems like nothing in return.

My loved one is there for rehabilitation following surgery. Staff are quick to fix complaints but as soon as we leave the issues happen all over again. 1) In the first 5 days my loved one has been there, the room was not swept, dusted or mopped even one time! 2) In the first 5days, no one looked at, washed or cleaned, or checked for irritation, his 8inch long surgical wound. 3) No one checks with any consistency if my loved one is clean and dry. Forget about regular baths. Finally, one of the staff, after getting off of work, was nice enough to bath my loved one on his own time! It had been 5 days at that point except for spit bathes in the bed occasionally. No skin barrier such as A&D cream has been used to prevent skin breakdown since they arent changing the patient regulary. 4) My loved one is not repositioned in the bed or encouraged to change positions to prevent bed sores. 5) Ted hose-compression stockings- are being left on all day and night. 6) My loved one is being served meals that are unfit to eat and flat out dangerous due to heart issues: The food is so salty it literally burns your mouth. The portions are horrendous- literally a spoonful (like the kind you eat with) of the main dish, and a spoonful of carrots for dinner. Then 15hours later for breakfast they brought a single 3in pancake, 2 sausage links (abt 2 inches long) and tiny bit of yougurt. Toddlers eat more than that, let alone someone recovering! 7) My loved one has had blood pressure crashes due to dehydration and even though bp was in the 40/30 range the family wasnt called. A Dr. didnt show up for 5 plus hours! Nor did they call an ambulance to transport to St. Thomas. A CNA just monitored his bp every so often and they put in an iv. No one monitors his fluid intake. Patients cup of ice water is only filled up around 6am. 8) and so far the rehab is a joke also. Yes the staff is nice, but they are running a skelton crew. Yes the building is all shiny and new, but its not clean.

I dont know how ANYONE would give this place anything over 1 star! I would give it a ZERO if I could. They OVER MEDICATE, by at least 900mg, and, they put DNR bracelets on patients that dont need or want them. Then, they blame the patient for having the bracelet on, saying they switch bracelets all the time. They must think people are idiots, because the bracelet was on tight, and would not fit over my dads hand. They dont change the patients clothes for several days, and when they do change their clothes, they put someone elses clothes on them that dont fit!! When we went to visit on one of the 3 days we were allowed, some idiot with a clipboard said we had visited the day before, and it wouldnt be fair to other patients if we visited again. when we told her NO ONE visited him, she said, well, its documented, soooo....! My brother looked at the visitor log, and saw a visit to another patient with the same last name the day before. They didnt apologize, and claimed his room mate had a similar name. They keep patients over medicated so they dont have to deal with them. The ONLY reason we started getting any help is my post on Facebook, and a call to the State Medical Board to file a complaint. We still dont have all of my dads clothes, they lost his hearing aid, AND his dentures. The complaint process with the State has just begun, and I dare Trustpoint to illegally change my dads records. I forgot to add that they also neglect patients. One day we went to visit and my dad was so thirsty he drank 2 cups of water pretty fast. If you love your family member, keep them away from this place. If they are already there, find another facility ASAP. If you have to call the State Medical Board to file a complaint, call them. Otherwise, Trustpoint will keep them and neglect them!!!!

My husband Mario was recently admitted to Clearpath, he is 59 and has Dementia. We live in Huntsville, AL. but since he was in a nursing home in Tenn. they sent him to Trustpoint at Murfreesboro. He was there for about 1 month just leaving Friday 8 April, 2016. I wanted to say how AMAZING the place was at Cleapath along with some special people. Dr. Singh was fantastic, he not only was concerned for Mario but also me and my daughter. My social worker Laura Burton.... AWESOME... she was so easy to talk to and was so caring again not only for him but for the family. There were 3 nurses that I talked to personally (I am sure there were more). I do not have last names but it was Angela, Lisa and Rosemary they all 3 were very nice and helpful when I called or when I came to visit. The place was clean and seemed like there was plenty of help which is key.... from the receptionist to Tracy the activities coordinator to the techs, nurses, dr. and case workers it was A1!!!! My husband was in a previous Behavioral Health in Alabama and they almost killed him so when I came here I was very concerned but that all changed. I said if I have to move to TN to ensure if he has to go back it will be here then I would!!!! It was a almost 2 hour drive but was worth it. I could go on and on but again I want to shout out ..... DR. SINGH, LAURA BURTON, AND CLEARPATH NURSES, ANGELA, ROSEMARY AND LISA... thank you all for being so supportive and kind in our time of turmoil..... Please make sure this gets to the ones I have mentioned I want to ensure they know they are appreciated!!!!!!
