My husband was sent to the er from an urgent care facility because of his sever symptoms. He was signed in at 930am, at first things went well. Labs drawn, shots given and IV in with fluids running by 1009am. There was no call button or tv or anything. He didnt speak to or see anyone until they took him to CAT scan around 130pm. No lab results or scan results. A woman then came in around 230pm to ask how everything was going. Doctor finally came in after that when my husband complained to the woman. They took another test and told him very little about test results or what was going on. Said he was going to get his papers written up to go home and have rx filled. Said it was an infection but said very little else. Nothing to eat or drink, no water or anything even after tests. No ice cubes nada! At 330pm my husband finally got dressed hoping to move things along. Between all this time nobody checked in on him or anything. At almost 4pm my husband was finally on his way out the door and discharged. Very disappointed! I worked in the medical field for years, lab results were back in an hour or less unless they were some type of cultures. All employees explained what tests they were doing and how long until they were get their results. Results were explained well with room for questions. Pts were checked on every hour at least and they had a call button in case they needed anything. After tests they were at least offered some water if permitted by doctor. My husband was impressed with their speed at first and then quickly disappointed after that!

I will never return to Heritage Medical Center. I was treated like a dog there. I wanted to try to get help to stop drinking and all they did was put me in a locked room with not toilet and urinate on myself. It was worse than jail. I wanted help and all they did was added to my PTSD. I could not believe it. One of the worst experiences in my life. And I can not remember the name of the doctor but he was not very kind and just set around and made all of the nurses do all of the work. One man was rushed by Air Care somewhere else and a woman died that night. And I was locked in a room watching it all go on. Not a good experience at all! I believe I need a lawyer! I was in ICU just recently. I dont understand how this hospital is still open. They let my lay there in the bed in my own feces. I was ill and had to vomit and felt sick. I had dry heaves and they would not give me anything for my nausea. They did not give me anything to rehydrate me. They would not even give me ice chips. I ended up signing myself out and taking all the needles out of my body. If you have a loved on please dont send them to this hospital. If may be the last time you see them. I felt like a pin cushion. This is the worst hospital I have ever had to go to. Please dont let your loved ones go to this hospital.

We rushed my husband to Heritage Medical Center due to blood pressure being 178/111 as directed per the doctor as they said it was in stroke range. We waited in the waiting room for about 30 minutes. Entered triage where the nurse said that our doctor must have used the wrong blood pressure cuff. Went into room in ER and blood pressure was taken again. For 3 hours we were in there monitoring his blood pressure. No medications ever given. No tests run and still blood pressure extremely high, even higher than when we came in. Triage nurse came back in and said ooops they used wrong blood pressure cuff again and he was discharged. Received bill for 1400.00 for nothing. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS.

Do not go here ever! If you can make it to next county or anywhere else Go! This place is complete worthless. Have had multiple bad experiences with loved ones. They make up bills when they want. Then when you pay the entire thing off, they send you new made up bills to a collection agency. It never ends. Another ortho Doctor in another hospital we got transferred to stated this when I called Heritage worthless, "I wouldnt even rank them that high". I wont go into details of what happened but all I can say is Dont go! They really are useless and then bill you non stop for all the useless stuff they do.

I have always received TERRIBLE service from this facility, along with condescending remarks and out-right rude behavior from the staff. Unfortunately, this is the ONLY hospital where I live, but when possible, if I can spare 20-30 more minutes, its worth making the drive to TULLAHOMA!!!! If you are LUCKY ENOUGH to be treated by Dr. Faour, then COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS, but other than that, I even had an "assistant" tell me that what the doctor said was, "not correct; IN HIS OPINION..." Seriously?!?! He wasnt even a licensed physician?!? How conflicting is that?!?

I have had good visits and bad visits. Once, after a car wreck in which the car flipped several times, no body came in to see me for 2 hours. I could have had internal bleeding. Another time I was there with my nephew who just had a seizure and they took very good care of him. And lastly, when I was there to get blood work done, the woman had no trouble with it. I have very small veins so I was impressed by how well she did. I suppose it depends on what you are there, who you are seeing, and how busy it is.
