Banner Health is a big joke. These people have No clue what there doing. DR. RIVERA PADILLA was my doctor. .. He would never ever listen to me or about my health! Made Snap diagnosis, I was repeatedly given referrals to other doctors. Only to find out these doctors. WERE NEVER EVEN PART OF BANNER HEALTH! Then how can they refer you!? Or to be sent to another office. Given paper work, an address, phone number. Only to find info wrong ! Once I was sent to N. Phoenix. Drove 46 miles one way. Only to show up at the address given. And find its a Mcdonalds!! No med center at all!! Then one day was going in for a dr.s appointment. Was told by receptionist. That I owe money from past appt. When asked ,the dollar amount Was Not What I Normally Pay.. The woman demanded 68.00 dollars! ? I asked her to please print out my bill. So as I can then address the situation! She told me at 1st she was unable able. So, I asked if she would turn the computer screen. So that I could see what she was talking about. PLAINLY, IT SHOWED MY NAME ACCOUNT # 0.00 DOLLARS OWNED! TURNED OUT EMPLOYEE WAS DRUG ADDICT. TRYING TO GET MONEY TO SUPPORT HER HABIT!! THEY get mad at you, when they screw up! I walked out twice on appointments as I was left sitting waiti, for over 1.5 hours!! So, just left.. Go somewhere else! Anywhere but here!! One day while out driving to walmart. Had heart pain and dizziness. Went straight to Banner.. Being that I was out already. And close to Banner. I arrived at lobby told receptionist. I thought I was having a heart attack! That Dr. Padilla was my doctor. To get him or someone! Was told and I quote, ( we are not a hospital or Urgent Care facility) If in fact you are having a medical emergency. Then you need to go there! Saw no doctor, was basically asked to leave. A MEDICAL FACILITY! ! Some lady helped me back to my car. Where I went back home and had neighbor take me to hospital. So, horrible and pathetic are these people. ..

Always a pleasant experience going here. Everyone knew me on sight throughout my pregnancy (granted, they saw me a lot) but they were always friendly, helpful and courteous. My doctors - Dr. Labesky-Scoggin and Dr. Mikel - are truly amazing, and their assistants are top notch. I could rave on and on about how these two doctors were honest with me, partnered with me even when we didnt see eye to eye, took extra time with me, made holes in their schedules for me, listened when I was over-paranoid, hugged me when I was emotional - oh and you know, ended up saving my life - but I think it sums it up pretty well by saying this has been and continues to be truly the best doctor/patient experience Ive ever had. On the Pediatrician side, Dr. Welch has been caring, on our side and willing to partner with us. All of her office staff have that same happy, friendly attitude Ive come to expect at Banner. This is a doctors office who cares about their patients from the front desk all the way to the MDs and they should be a model for everyone else to follow. Thank you, to everyone at this Banner location, for always taking such great care of us!

This place sucks. I went here for a few prenatal visits and each time I was not impressed. The wait in the lobby is damn near an hour then when you get in your room its another 20minute wait. Once my doctor comes in he never gives me an examination and doesnt even know my due date!!!! He talks to me for 5minutes then asks if I have any questions. When I ask him something he always just answers with an "uh huh yeah" then he sends me on my way. Another incident I had with this doctor is when I had to go to the hospital for pains in my legs and when the nurse went to get him he didnt even bother to come in!!! He told the nurse to tell me "its probably just round ligament pain" and then he sent me packing again. No examination no care. The doctors here seem like they are more interested in the number of patients they have and less interested in actually helping them. I wont be going back here again and anyone who doesnt want to spend an hour and a half here to only get 5minutes of treatment shouldnt come either!!!!!

What an absolute joke this place this is!! How do they even call themselves a healthcare provider? If I can rate it a zero I would. I called to make an appointment to go in and see the doctor and was told the next available appointment was a month away. Here’s a little reality check for these people, peoples health does not get put on hold for a month cause you have no openings! Here’s my suggestion STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY. Lady I spoke with was rude and couldn’t care less about trying to get in earlier. Her excuse was and I quote ‘Oh, I see it’s been a while since you’ve been here so it’s going to take a while to re-establish yourself as a patient”. That is outright, pathetic! So let me get this right, because I’m not sick every week or month and I’m in there all the time you’re just going to push me out a month? How do people continue to go there with all these bad write ups? I’d rather drive up into town and give my business to someone up there than ever go there again. Rant over.

I have had absolutely exceptional care when I have gone here. Dr. Sheard is very compassionate and caring, he listens to what you are there for and assists with getting things (health-wise) taken care of. All of the referrals that I had to have were taken care of immediately. I have not had any problem with the appointment line or the front desk receptionists. However, I will say that today, 2-3-17, when I called to get 3 medications refilled, the MA or nurse that I spoke with the first time did not tell me that Dr. Sheard had to approve/sign off on those prescriptions. When I called back because the Walmart I asked it to be sent to had not received it, I spoke to her again. This time she was short with me and not really nice. I had no idea that Dr. Sheard had to sign off on the refill requests because the MA/nurse said that "they are sent." So I assumed that meant to Walmart. Other than that, Ive had excellent care and service.

At the Banner Health Center in Maricopa I have had nothing but pleasant experiences. From the initial phone call to schedule, the clean and pleasant atmosphere, to the kind and patient front office staff. I see Dr. Basynat as my GP and Dr. Roberts as my OB and I couldnt be more pleased with both. They both have a wonderful bedside manner, they listen to you, and take the necessary time needed to discuss all issues. I have never felt rushed and when both Dr. Roberts and I forgot about nausea solutions, I received a call not even an hour after I left from Dr. Roberts informing me we forgot to further discuss the nausea and that she had has called in a medicine for me and if that one wasnt covered she also called in a back up. My husband and I were very impressed and we would highly recommend both doctors.
