I went to this facility when I first moved to Anthem because I thought I would get a good doctor for all of my problems. First time I went, the Female doctor didnt know of any Rheumatologists that I could see, the Male doctor told me he would give me the prescprition drugs needed for my problem. Found out later that he was new to the office and wanted to establish a clientele. Close to 12 months later he told me he would "NO LONGER" refill my prescriptions. So I went somewhere else, the next Female Doctor I had happened to see would be leaving the office I saw her at because she was going to this Gavilan office. She prescribed to me Savella which made my blood pressure go sky high. I called her office and one of her assistants called me back and told me that this Doctor told me to go the Emergency Room. She also told me she would NOT refill my prescriptions and she also told me that I could see one of the other Female doctors that were at the office she was working at and leaving. I asked her if I could see her at Gavilan Peak and she told me in a very odd way...NO! Finally went to another Doctor but first obtained my records or so called records from Gavilan Peak. I read these notes that the Male Doctor wrote, nowhere is it noted that he would refill my prescriptions. Nowhere in my notes is anything about certain problems I saw him for ie. Lipomas and he also noted that I was "Anxious and Nervous" in the last notes. Probably to cover his behind, This Doctors office is nothing short of the worst medical care facility I have ever been to and I also had to call my former Doctor in Colorado to get certain prescriptions that you just cant stop taking because you can do harm to your body. One more thing..none of these Doctors wanted to see my medical records that I brought from my other state.

I called to ask if theres a long wait. Pam said theres no one in the waiting room. My wife arrives in 10 minutes and 2 people are waiting. Always happens here. They say theres no wait to get you in the door. A mom and her crying daughter come in and my wife volunteers to let them be seen ahead of her. Another lady comes in. Time passes and then Pam calls the other lady to come inside. My wife quickly stands up and Pam immediately realizes her mistake and said she got the folders out of order. What??? In this day and age how do you put folders out of order. How stupid is that? Primary doctor offices have a list they cross off after calling you through the door. I had the same experience 5 years ago and refused to go again. Unfortunately, this was the only place open in the area and we gambled to think it wouldve improved its process of who goes next...Nope. Only go here if your desperate. We shouldve just gone to MinuteClinic at the new CVS in Fireside. UGH!

If possible, Id give this place 0 stars. Worst incompetent staff, and thats coming from a teenager! They are too lazy to really bother to help including MOST of the doctors except 2! Go to urgent care, even though its much more economical than elsewhere, theyll still charge you the highest rate for not doing a damn think except prescribing you antibiotics, yet I knew I needed an antiviral. I basically wasted my money and was literally in and out in less than 4 MINUTES! The doctor, all he did was checked my lungs and throat, yet I requested a breathing treatment because it would have been covered by the fee and an ear cleaning and I was recommended to get one from a pharmacy. They will do/ say anything to get you out of their sight and get your $. Even if you live in anthem, go ANYWHERE ELSE. This is not our first encounter where we not given proper attention and aid. My business will never be returning there.

Weve been sitting for over 2 1/2 hours. Finally go up to see how much longer and are told we are next after this woman who is not even in the waiting room. (Was called back 5 mins before, but not here) I then overhear the receptionist call said woman and tell her that her daughter is up, to finish their lunch and come back! FINISH THEIR LUNCH! Seriously Im sitting here with my daughter. Was never given the option to leave and be called back! Now we are still sitting here, hungry because we got here before lunch. The office staff has no problem saying loud enough for everyone to hear that they are going to lunch, be back...this place has the worst service. I would have rather paid the $100 to goto the new Emergency on Dove Valley! Oh and did I mention that 3 people were called back that came in AFTER we did. And have since left. I was told that they were a higher care priority...

Gavilan Peak Honor health Urgent care slow service. Used Urgent Care for a fever on Monday afternoon 10/12/15, 3 hour wait because they only had one doctor on duty. The care from the doctor was exceptional and he provided appropriate prescription and shot to remedy my situation. Whats disappointing is that this has been my families norm for service when using their Urgent Care services. In seeking out other Honor Health providers, non of them post their average patient wait times which is disappointing since they collect this info. Another disappointing fact is that Honor Health has no patient feedback system, the only feedback mechanism is Google, Yelp, etc.. They must not care what their patients think of their service, and obviously dont need their input to improve.

We have been trying to use this doctors office for 3 years, every time we call there to make an appointment when we are sick, they cant get us in for several days. They try to get us to go to the Urgent Car instead. Then when you go to urgent car, that doctor tells you to go see your normal doctor. Urgent car is so expensive and then to have to go back to see the normal doctor, it is ridiculous. We are going to find a new doctor in Anthem, one who cares for the patients and not just about getting as much money as possible out of us.

My son hit his head playing. Took him to urgent care because 16 hours later, my son said he felt dizzy. Doctor barely spent any time in the room before saying to rush him to the ER for a scan. Trusting of this doctor, we rushed to the ER. After spending 10mins with a nurse practitioner and declaring my son was fine, I was pretty upset. When I got the ER bill for $1,900, I was outraged. Be careful taking yourself or family here. Ask for a 2nd opinion before going to an ER to be gouged.

Terrible. The Dr. I saw was alright and seemed pretty intelligent, but seemed exhausted and in a hurry. Had a few tests done, I called for two weeks to get the results, but they never called me back. I had to go into the office and stand there while the rude receptionist went and made copies of the records. The Dr. ended up pulling me aside to explain the results, but that did not make up for the fact that I was ignored for so long. Do not go here.
