I wish I could give this place zero stars. First off, my father and I were looking for a clinic to see if they could remove a blemish on my fathers forearm. We went to the Sun Dance Family clinic first, and they told us that the Dignity Health Urgent Care should be able to treat it. After a few weeks, we head over to DHUC and ask the front desk if they would be able to help with our problem. The lady was no help at all, and told us that the doctor would have to see us first. Another question I asked was if it was expensive to be treated here, because we have no insurance because of Obama-care, and from what I understood she said that it depends on what the doctor does. Like all clinics or any medical facility, we were required to sign some documentation in order to proceed. My father blindly, and sinfully signed away. If only we had known we were getting ourselves into. Five minutes into signing we were called by the nurse. We had only asked to see a doctor about a blemish of the forearm, so it became a bit confusing as to why she had to write down my fathers weight, and put him on the scale. After taking vitals, the nurse led us to the room where the doctor would see us. The doctor came in 10 minutes later. Before he proceed, I notified him again that we were nervous, for we have heard rumors about how expensive it is to be treated without insurance, and he said not to worry. We also asked if he was able to remove the blemish. We did not worry. The doctor is this tall lanky gentlemen, and his attitude was a bit rude. The doctor examined my father, pushed down on the blemish, and concluded that what my father has could either be this or it could be that. There was no direct answer of what it is. He then left the room came back with four black and white papers telling us that it might be this or it might be that. We already know what it might be, and the whole purpose of our trip was to see if it could be removed. He then left, and five minutes later a lady comes in, and tries to sell us off to some other clinic as if we would agree with her. We went up to the front desk and had to pay. The total amount we owed was a price of $150 dollars. Let me take into consideration what we payed for which was, measuring my fathers weight, a doctor handing us some papers that were articles off the internet, and some lady trying sell us off to another clinic. I ate my pride and dignity, and decided not to argue. We would pay then go and never return. Three weeks later, a bill for $340 dollars comes in the mail. My fellow friends, do not make the same mistakes we made. Look elsewhere.

Avoid this clinic at all costs. It will be cheaper. Charged $430 for a visit where the doctor said he did not know what was wrong with me. Would not assist with understanding charges and would not provide itemized bill until I threatened to report them for not allowing me access to my itemized bill. They were rude . They told me four times that the charges were not negotiable and that the bill amount was accurate. Got an audio recording of the ladies at the front desk purposefully misleading, advising there are no hospital fees associated with this urgent care facility but then backpedaling when confronted about the hospital facility fee charge. They proceeded to claim that they are legally obligated to charge that facility fee since they are owned by a hospital. Which is entirely false. Threatened to report for AZ leg non-compliance as well as send the recording to 3 on your side. Suddenly the bill was negotiable. These people are crooked. This entire process took about 7 months of abuse, lies, bullying, and nearly non-stop calls to them (they refused to make callbacks when promised). #goodbyehumankindness

Currently here. Yes we walked in at 2 mins to close, but no matter Im still a paying patient. The front desk lady, big blonde woman with short hair...acted like I just asked her to address congress. Her sighs of "omg I want to go home" were very audible. Next the triage nurse, would be wonderful if you let me FINISH telling you my childs symptoms before you cut me off. I know yall want to go home, but not everybodys body works on your schedule. Not to mention your the only medical facility of this type in the WHOLE town of Maricopa and nearest hospital is 40 mins away. Lastly your in this career to HELP people....not make them feel bad because they asked for help later in the day. Get your acts straight, remember why your in this profession and if its too much of a nother to help a sick 11 yr old boy...then you need to find a new line of work. Im also a medical professional and Im appalled at the lack of basic care shown by staff...so far ONLY the DR has shown any kind of compassion as dictated by the profession

I have had to use the facility on quite a few occasions. Their wait time is reasonable and you can use their on line log in if you are really worried about wait time. The important thing to remember is they are an URGENT CARE facility. Routine doctor stuff should be handled by your usual doctor. The length of the visit usually depends on what other patients they are seeing that day. While we have had several visits, we have seen only two different doctors so it makes visits a little better than an ER given you can get to know these guys. They have taken care of urgent things and then refereed to specialists as needed. (like when my son broke his finger) Their pricing is higher than a doctors visit, but less than an ER which is reasonable for what they do. (assuming all medical bills are reasonable these days). When my doctor cant fit me into an appointment and something really needs to be seen same day, this is where I go. They are wonderful.

They do price gouging. They took my vitals and assigned me an antibiotic. I did a follow-up. I has a total of 2 visits which should have just been a co-pay of 60 dollars each ended up being 900 dollars. I asked for a copy of the biill and the local office could not provide it. I called their inept CA office who do their billing. They sent me a bill for the wrong year. Even after insurance the bill is 300 for them to take my temp, weight, height, blood pressure and write a script. They treat it like an outpatient hospital but it is not and they do not advertise it as such. They need to be sued in a class-action lawsuit for false advertising and price gouging. Keep all your receipts and proof of service if you go. You will need them to try to get your money back or for your lawyer. I am sure a class action is on the way. If they screwed you over report them to your insurance for fraud. What they are doing is illegal.

Went in for breathing problems. Misdiagnosed the first time. Went back for the exact same symptoms but more acute 1 week later. Proper medication given this time by same dr. Im not mad at doctor, its not an exact science. My real complaint is with their billing services. They double billed me twice. My two visits were in August 2016. I got and paid bills in september. Then in october Im being billed again. After hours on the phone they fogured out that i was being double billed and took care of it. Now in february, i have started getting billls again for the same two visits!!! Criminal at worst, completely incompetent at best. I will do everything i can to avoid them again! Two simple uegent care visits has resulted in hours on the phone, misbilling, forcing me to make them handle their own issues. Cant wait for the next bills for the same visits to start coming in another few months...
