I have had the priviledge to appear for two office visits at the Family Medicine Practice where Dr. Barbara Tilben, MD., and Sarah Allen, PC works. The interest in a patient far exceeds what I had ever expected. I went ahead and took my appointments with Sarah Allen, PC, whom I found to be wonderful in her knowledge, and taking immediate attention to my concerns. On my last visit Sarah had mentioned a medication that I was taking could be offered through their practices since they were a part of Diginity Health as well. I advise her that I would leave it with the Doctors office at Barrow Institute. This prescription must be handed out or mailed to the recipiant of the medication because it is now considered a narocotic that can be sold. The doctor, James L Frey, wrote out this perscription spent over two hours with me on my last visit at the Barrow Institute. Anyone can look up his credentials and see that he is well known and in the business of saving lives or preventing death by stroke. etc. My last time to fill the perscription was in March. I called for the perscription to be filled in the month of June and never received anything by mail. So here in July the doctors assistant apologized and could not find the tracking number. The post office has nothing being held for me. Dr. Freys office suggest that I go thru my primary doctors office to have it filled since they are all associated through Dignity Health. Saving me some time and eliminating long term aches and pains for me. I called Family Medical Practice here in Maricopa and left a message for Sarah Allens medical assistant to call me back. No call! So I called again and reached Rosie the office receptionist who is lost or wondering thru the office. Explained the story in detail, and quickly found out she knew about the message I had left. Rosie the Riveter advised that I would have to come in to see the doctor because they would not fill a perscription on the say of Dr. Frey office. So I advised her that I did not want to do that. So Rosie advised this is not a drug you can just fill out a perscription for. Yes, I know she is correct that is why I am calling to see if they can communicate with Dr. Freys office as advised. So then Rosie advised she is transferring me to Sara Allens medical assistant. Wow good for you Rosie. Slow at your game but you got it!! The medical assistant Sandy Rude advised the same thing as Rosie. Must be I am stupid after going into all the details of what was going on with a lost perscription in the mail. Come in!! See the doctor if you want this because it is a narcotic, and they just cant fill it. On the say of a Professional doctors word!! ?? So I said to Sandy Rude that I dont have money to do that nor the time. It has been approximately a 21 day wait for this medication. I know Sandy might be new, but Sara Allen should have been informed, and when you go to this office you are going to meet a receptionist that is confused, overburden and cant find you in the system. Patients are lining up Rosie, and she does not seem to know what she is doing!! I have spent more time with Rosie at the front desk before the office visit and afterwards just on billing. My last bill was around $200.00. Insurance did pay for it eventually, but it took Rosie a longer period to find out what was going on meanwhile I was home biting my nails. And frankly John Q public I dont have money to just go in and say hi doctor I need a perscription filled. Cant they not be professional and get on the Yoo Hoo Phone and ask my doctor is this okay we are in doubt. We, meaning Rosie, and Sandy the professionals. Get rid of them!! Great doctor, and PC, and I mean wonderful. They will chase your clients away!! Angry!! Yes, I am!! Feeling like a drama queen!! Yes, I am!! My legs ache, my hip aches, and I have electrical like pains or charges shooting out of my toes. I need some rest, and relief!!

What do you say to two people who saved your life? Thank you. Is that enough? They didn’t have to stay on the case until I got what I needed, but they did. Dr. Tilben pursued the doctor until I finally got what I needed as ordered by Dr. Ziad Elghoul. The findings were regrettably life threatening. Dr. Elghoul said I would be dead if my primary doctor had not pursued the issue with such tenacity. I am thankful and grateful for people in my life who have such integrity as to find out the very problem that caused my pulse to beat at 132. You can’t find these people everywhere but they are here. So with much gratitude I thank my doctor’s Barbara Tilben and Ziad Elghoul of Dignity Health for their proficiency in saving my life. Thank you.
