The staff is very impersonal and talk to you like a small child in need of a smack if you ask a question about anything on the forms. The only reason I am giving 1 star is because the nurse who took my vitals was very nice and talkative and seemed more concerned about my throat pain (turned out to be strep throat) then the "doctor" or the actual title RN who saw me did. I saw Dr. Bernadette Miu and although my blood pressure was on the cusp of being high she walked in and says without a hello, "Did you know your blood pressure is off the charts?" I am not out of shape but high blood pressure does run through my family, however I have been "on the cusp" in the past and have simply changed eating habits for a while (cut caffeeine, fried foods, etc.) and it went back to normal. My last physical was three months prior with my former doctor in Tucson who ran tests and all was well. She literally scoffed and immediately went on how I should be on a certain medication for the "rest of my life". I was annoyed since I was running a fever and changed the subject by saying "Im here cause my throat really hurts and Ive had strep before but Id like to be certain." She ROLLED HER EYES "open your mouth" looked in and said "Yup, its strep, so I would like to see you in two weeks and run a series of blood tests to see how you are." I played along, got my penicillin prescription and bullshit blood pressure prescription and left fast. She was rude, brazen, and a horrid listener, just like the staff. Waste of $70. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Ive been going to the Tempe location for a couple of years since loosing my former insurance. Im English speaking but they have bi-lingual staff for Spanish speakers. There is an iPad to do the initial check in, with the staff following up which is quick and helpful. Ive never waited longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room. Once back in the exam rooms the aides take vitals quickly and the doctor is in shortly. I see Dr. Taxin and hes timely, asks question about my condition and any concerns regarding my health that might be developing. Im one of those people that is not afraid to address issues so they can be managed, resolved or improved if possible. Once finished my next appointment is made and I receive reminders via call, text or email whichever I prefer. Its been great going to a doctor where Im in, seen and out the door in 45 minutes or less for routine visits as Ive been to places where Ive waited in the waiting room that long just to be taken back. The Tempe location just moved to a beautiful new campus and I was there the first day. Of course there were some delays as everyone had to learn new systems and locations of all equipment but the staff was upbeat and apologetic for the small delays as they settled in.

Let me phrase this review. In a way that: Doesnt make me seem like, an anal retentive a**hole. Based on my overall experience. I wouldnt refer this, place to my nemesis. From the front office staff. To the Dr.s I have seen. They dont come, across as caring. I could list a, plethora of complaints.Yet it is pointless. I am in the process, of seeking healthcare elsewhere. Due to my Health concerns. Either blatantly disregarded. Never being seen, for what I originally came for. And the Medical staff, is either very late. Calling you from, the waiting area. Or waiting for, the mystery Dr. To make a brief ,appearance in the room. I have panic attacks. At the mere thought ,of just going here. Personally I am ,wasting my time. Continuing to receive ,mediocre Medical care. I refuse to keep ,being a number. And adding to ,these peoples paychecks.

Everytime I go there the nurses are a bit cold with no personality (except for one who was great while taking blood samples). Dr. Edward Madella is very stop and go. Quick to judge, always distracted. Hes prescribed me medicine that will mask my symptoms but I dont think hes really gone into in depth thinking of what I might have. He brushes off anything I say, and I dont feel hes there to really help but to just reassure you temporarily by entering the room in scrubs and saying "hi, Im doctor Madella". If I need an appointment you have to be prepared to be sick 1-2 months in advance because forget getting looked at now. Overall the experience hasnt really been helpful. Or enjoyable.

Not sure what all the hate is about. Sure, most of the folks here do seem a bit disengaged, and wanting for something more out of life. I suspect youd feel the same way if your job involved dealing with sick people every day and swabbing wax out of peoples ears. Lets face it: all Doctors clinics are awful places full of disease and boring magazines. This is one of the few clinics that Ive found where they take walk-ins (which is how I ended up there in the first place), but I continue to go back because the Dr. I see there seems quite nice, and has worked with me to find a prescription that had the least amount of side effects. Ive never really had a problem with them.

I have been trying to figure out how much it costs to see a Dr w/o insurance as I need a prescription asap. They wont even tell me! I have to wait until someone calls me back in 2 days. So 2 days passes and they dont call me back. I call them and they say wait two more days. Then I have to take off work to make an appt w someone to verify I have no insurance. then I have to take off work again to actually have my appt w the Dr!!!!! So unhelpful!!! Its like they dont want to help people and dont want patients!

DO NOT GO HERE. I have a severe medical condition that requires seeing a gyno and my appointment has been moved back TWICE. Ive been waiting to see my doctor for 3 months and I just got another call this morning that my appointment for tomorrow needs to be rescheduled FOR A MONTH FROM NOW. Im literally dying because Mountain Park Health Centers scheduling services suck so badly. I would post 0 stars if I could but this review wont let me.

this is the worst place to be. I am pregnant very high rick and been waiting 3 weeks for prioritization to start a new medication that i should have started 3 weeks ago. They do not follow up with nothing at all. please do not go here if you are a high rick patient because you might die before you get the treatment you need.

Maybe for some people had different experience, but for me and my Family is a great , I really think is not easy to find people care about you, and what kind of sickness you can have, but this place is really nice, they care and advice you the best they can. I recommend this place for any one.

This clinic lost my scheduled appointment as a new patient coming in, they had it recorded as weeks later than we had arranged. No apology, just a lackadaisical "thats strange theres no one available" from the staff. Was far less than impressed.
