My experience with Valet Vet was horrible. I am not going to get into all the details of my dog’s exam but will jump ahead to the major stuff and TRY to keep it brief. First off…Be very leery of the 5 star reviews you see. If you look at the pics of the reviewers, most are younger women, about the same age of Dr. Finney and Dr. Leiberman. My guess is most of the reviews are from friends and family. I called Valet Vet over a week ago because I adopted a 5 ½-year-old rescue dog 2 months ago who suffers from extreme anxiety about leaving the house. After her exam with Valet Vet, I asked for a full blood panel and thyroid test because I wanted to check her overall health and was concerned about a possible thyroid problem, due to weight issue. Side note…The Vet did not weigh my dog because they don’t carry a scale with them to exams so I have no idea how much she weighs. It was obvious to me that the vet tech was not properly trained at drawing blood. She didn’t shave the front paw so she was basically was guessing where the vein was located. After sticking the needle in Brandi’s paw she began poking and prodding for a vein with no success. Finally, after about 3 minutes she found a vein, as my poor frightened dog patiently waited. The blood flowed quickly into the syringe once she found the vein. A couple days later, I emailed Valet Vet for the blood test results. Dr. Leiberman replied, along with a copy of the results, and added a comment stating, “I do not have any concerns about the results”. I looked at the lab results and was shocked to see that Brandi’s Red Blood Cell Count, Hematocrit, and Hemoglobin results were extremely high and her platelet result was very low. The lab remarks said, “due to clumping, the platelet number cannot be accurately determined…”. She also had high Creatine Kinase, which according to the lab report, “early kidney disease cannot be ruled out”. No Concerns!!?? I emailed Dr. Leiberman back regarding the lab results and she said, “oh its nothing to be concerned about, the blood sample was hemolyzed so the CBC results are not accurate”. I was shocked and thought, I just spent $275 for a blood test and all the results might not be accurate!! I researched hemolyzed blood on the internet and called Sonoran Labs and 2 other Vets. All documentation and Vet professionals stated that if a blood specimen is hemolyzed, a new blood sample should be taken and retested. According to all the documentation and the other Vets, the cause of a hemolyzed blood specimen is due to the improper draw technique used by the technician and/or improper handling of the specimen. Basically, it is their fault for the hemolyzed specimen! At this point, I was extremely upset so I wrote Valet Vet back and said, “either you re-draw and re-test a new blood sample or I want my $275 back!” If they didn’t make this error right, I planned on reporting them to the better business bureau, the veterinarian board, and alerting social media. I did not get a reply so I emailed again. The owner, Dr. Gina Finney, emailed me back and tried to give me her take on the results, which I wasn’t buying after talking to so many other professionals. At the end of her email, she said, “due to your threats, I feel it is best that we terminate our vet-client-patient relationship immediately”! I laughed out out load after reading that! What a joke…as if I would ever go back to Valet Vet after their irresponsible tactics to avoid retaking the sample or refunding my $275 so I could go to another Vet to get accurate blood test results. After 10 emails back and forth between me and Dr. Finney, I was mentally exhausted and basically gave up. Eight days later, I feel I shouldn’t give up and the public has a right to know, as well as the Vet Board and the BBB, about Valet Vets lack of integrity and professionalism in handling this issue.

This service is AWESOME! It was a real answer to prayer! I had recently moved here from Idaho and did not have any vet. My cat, Jerry, who needed help was so traumatized by the car drive that he was almost impossible to find and put into a cat carrier. A found this service on a Google search and from the time I sent in my first Gmail for an appointment, I was impressed! Dr. Gina answered promptly and offered an appointment the next day. I was very anxious about how I was going to get Jerry in the carrier for a trip down to the van. Dr. Gina patiently explained that the team would come right up to my apartment! Dr. Samantha and the tech, Justine, were right on time. Jerry was so very reassured by Dr. Samanthas patient and tender approach to the exam. She gave me a bottle of medicine and then offered to clip the nails on him and my other kitty, Ginger. In the past, Ginger has scratched, hissed, and attempted to bit the doctor and tech in his office. In her own home and under Justines excellent clipping, she did not do any hissing or attempt to bite. I could give her some kitty treats, and she did just fine! Dr. Gina, Dr. Samantha, and Justine are all very competent professionals, but the services are delivered with a marvelous kindness and compassion! I will be referring family and friends to them, and I will only call them should I need further assistance!

Our Sammi needed help moving on, she was with us for 17 glorious years. Mostly deaf , pretty much blind with muscle wasting in her hind leg. We think she had cancer but did not want to put her thru the stress of testing. The day she could not relieve herself with out falling and started bleeding from the nose again, the decision was made. Could not watch her suffer anymore. Emailed for an appointment later that morning. Can not express how much love and caring we received from the doctor and her two assistants. They explained everything to us and were so gentle with her. Would recommend them to anyone needing help with their babies! Best and worst day of our life!

I have 3 Boston Terriers. They are a great breed, but come with their set of medical needs. All 3 have seen Valet Vet since they were born. I am so impressed with their huge hearts for my babies. My dogs are my children and Dr. Gina completely understood my anxiety about the quality of care I was seeking. She put my family at ease and answered all our questions. From routine vaccines to surgeries Valet Vet is who my family trusts. Weve had to use other vets due to various moves but we keep coming back. We now make a special trip just to have our Bostons seen by Dr. Gina and staff.

Dr. Elizabeth and the team came out to take a look at my two cats. One cat isnt having any problems, but figured a general checkup was a good idea because another cat is throwing up daily. My older cat with the problems was not pleased and put up a fight, but they all handled her so well. Every person on the team is kind and personable. I cannot express how grateful I was to be able to have Valet Vet come to my home too! It saved a lot of trauma for my kitties. I highly recommend them!
