I took my baby in to see Dr. Beyers because a family member recommended her because she was more "reasonably priced" than our normal vet. Well, I learned the hard way, you get what you pay for. I spent a long time explaining and going over my dogs history, especially with valley fever and how i was concerned with some lumps. The lumps I was so concerned about...i was told she was fat and those were love handles. I pretty much had to beg her to do the valley fever test. I KNOW MY DOG! I almost lost her to valley fever years ago, so when I asked, I should have gotten the simple blood draw. Sure enough, her valley fever was back. Had I not insisted on the test, who knows what would have happened. I took her back to the vet we have been seeing for years, and they knew by LOOKING at her something was wrong with her hips, the "love handles". Her knee that Dr. Beyers said was arthritis due to old age is totally deteriorated due to valley fever or cancer. I am so glad I went with my gut to get another opinion. This is the short version of what Dr. Beyers did NOT catch. Do not take your babies here, its not worth the cost savings. She literally could have killed my dog because she was lazy. She is known as "reasonable " because she does no testing. My mom also took her dog there and she ignored symptoms and pleas for tests and now she suffers from seizures, which was preventable had she done ANYTHING. But that is a whole other story of incompetence.

I worked for this lady as a receptionist for about two months. The things I saw here were absolutely terrible. She is not only spiteful to her employees but to animals she finds annoying.. ie: Chihuahuas, pugs, or any small dog really. She bad mouths clients behind their backs or while away from them. She thinks she is better than anyone who has a question. I have even seen an employee hit a small dog on the head with a dremel for yipping while getting its toe nails trimmed. Not to mention this is a vet clinic and she has alcohol delivered to the clinic and drinks on the job. Yes she handles animals while under the influence of alcohol! She gives untrained people tasks such as dental cleanings which the animal is completely under anesthesia and is considered surgery also fluid injections as well as shots. Please for the love of your pets go anywhere but here!!!

Dr. Beyer is a wonderful vet. We have been with her for over 15 years and couldnt imagine having to find another vet that would take such good care of my fur babies! When treating your pet, she always will take the least expensive path of treatment when possible. It is not just business with her, she considers you and your pets as family. By the way, I am familiar with Asia the disgruntled employee who posted the nasty review and can tell you with certainty that those disparaging words are written out of spite and should not be taken into consideration when choosing a vet for your beloved pet

Dr. Beyer is amazing. We switched to her clinic after a recommendation from a friend and we could not be happier. She does not push unnessary services or make you feel guilty for not doing the most expensive treatments. Our dog had been suffering from terrible allergies for years, and no other vet was able to help treat her issues. Dr. Beyer changed our dogs life! Thank you!
