There are no two ways about it -- Affiliated Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is just a PHENOMENAL practice. The front office runs smoothly, the scheduling is a dream, the fact that there are two locations and super extended office hours means theres no huge wait to get in for an appointment and no real reason to miss school. Both my kids go to the dental practice (see all positive comments above for my take on it) and my daughter sees Dr. Michael Feinberg in the orthodontics practice. He is a dream of a doctor -- kind and caring yet matter of fact. He values the patients and their parents time, yet always takes as much time as needed with the particular situation that presents in his chair. Plus, he is great to talk with (for both kids and parents) about daily events, pop culture, sports and travel --- even if you have metal wires poking out your mouth! The contests the office comes up with are great morale boosters (my daughter even won the tshirt design contest last year so I see her tshirt on new patients all aroudn town). And lets get down to brass tacks, orthodontia will never be cheap (especially for those of us without dental/ortho insurance) but after studiously checking all around town, I can safetely say you are getting your moneys worth if you go to Affiliated Pediatric Orthodontontics! If there were 6 stars available in this review process, Id have selected that as my rating, but as theres only 5 -- that will have to do!

We have 3 kids - all patients of Dr. Goldsteins - and now I have joined them "in the chair" as a patient myself. Everyone from the receptionist, patient coordinators, techs and orthodontists are top notch, super friendly, helpful, efficient ... everything you could hope for when you seem to spend every other week visiting them with one child or another. My sons mouth is requiring pretty extensive work and planning - that will continue in several phases as he grows. Dr. Goldstein has explained his plan (since he was 6 years old) and he has helped get his teeth to look pretty good as he goes through high school. We know there is more work to be done in the future and we appreciate his approach to making each phase of his development the best he can. The kids are patients on the pediatric dentistry side as well, which makes transferring records, or even sometimes scheduling both dental and ortho appointments on the same afternoon, very convenient (our family might hold the record with SEVEN appointments one afternoon - 3 dental cleanings and 4 orthodontist appointments! Vicki in scheduling is amazing...she must cringe when I call to schedule appointments for our crew). Very happy with our care - and our teeth!

My three children have been seeing Dr. Julie for 5 years. They go to the dentist every 6 months. We have never had to wait beyond our appointment time. The hygienists are very friendly. Making follow up appointments is a breeze. They actually have a yearly calendar with all of the school holidays/spring breaks, etc. I know they have PV and Cave Creek school districts. I think they have Great Hearts too. It is an extremely calm atmosphere. Once, my daughter had to have four teeth pulled. Dr. Julie asked if we wanted to do it all in one day or split it up into two appointments. At the time my daughter was 6 but she is one tough cookie. We opted for all four at once. Dr. Julie took us into a private room, explained to us what was going to happen. She told my daughter that she would feel pressure but not pain. After each tooth, she let my daughter know that it was out and kept asking how she was doing. During the entire procedure, Dr. Julie kept talking to my daughter, telling her stories and keeping her feeling safe and secure. I think Dr. Julie is a remarkable dentist. She makes going to the dentist fun. My children truly look forward to going to the dentist.

We have been with Dr. Julie since my oldest daughter Nicole was 2 she is now 16, and we have never considered changing dentist even through 2 insurance changes because Dr. Julie is such a terrific dentist and wonderful person. She has taken great care of all 3 of my daughters. Dr. Julie and all of her staff go out of their way to make sure all their patients are comfortable and not the least bit nervous. My 2 older daughters are now patients of Dr. Goldstein and his staff who are also wonderful and make sure their patients are comfortable and explain every step of the way what is about to be done next. Nicoles braces are now off and I can say her smile is absolutely beautiful and I have never see her smile so much. Dr. Goldstein, Dr Feinberg & Dr. Masserman are available all the time to answer any questions or concerns even after hours which I have personally used in the past and appreciate that very much since it was a Friday evening and I did not have to spend the weekend worrying. To all the staff at Dr. Julie & Dr. Goldsteins offices thank you so much for caring about your patients.

Amazing Dental Practice!! I dreaded taking my daughter to the dentist. My daughter has special needs and she never did well when we attempted to get x-rays or her teeth cleaned at other dental offices. In fact, she never really had her whole mouth clean--just a tooth cleaned here or there, with crying and kicking included. It was traumatic for all of us! Dr. Danielle Goldstein, Nancy and the hygenist, Jennifer, were heaven sent. They talked to my daughter, REALLY talked to my daughter. They were gentle, patient and answered questions, stopped when she needed a break, and then started again. I watched my daughter get her teeth cleaned, she got x-rays and then she got hugs. It was the first time we both left the dentist without tears!!! In fact, we celebrated and went out to lunch! My daughter is no longer terrified of the dentist and it is because of this wonderful dental team. Do not hesitate to take your children to this dentist-you will be more than satisfied.

I absolutely love going to the dentist when its for my little ones and my children love it even more! I know, hard to believe, right. But they do because the staff and doctors at Affiliated Pediatric Dentistry are so gentle and kind. They speak kido-lingo... they know how to charm them and help them understand the importance of what they are doing. My little ones enjoy going to the dentist - first it starts with the oh-so-small kid-only door so they feel extra special; then its the games and fish they love to see and play or even the slide for fun times. After a little play time they see their hygienist and then the doc. I have as much fun watching them enjoy their time at the dentist as they do. The docs are so funny and comedians themselves. They are the kindest most user friendly dentist office I have ever visited and I will not go anywhere else... you will see what I mean when you go to!!! Their so cleaning good. -JC

It was our first visit at this dentist for my 1.5 year old and special needs (very anxious/SPD) 3 year old. The website photos dont do it justice. I love that it isnt bright, primary colors, but more soothing neutrals. My kids LOVED the (clean!) waiting room, they were literally squealing at the fish and slide. Nancy took her time with us to discuss how to best support my son through the process beforehand, and boy did she deliver!! She faced several 3 year old objections but handled them beautifully. She got about 95% of an adult-type cleaning in. I was highly pleased and impressed. Both kids actually sat in the chair this time and my 1.5 year old surprisingly let them do a full exam. We couldnt have asked for more. My son never got overwhelmed and both kids had a great experience.
