I met Dr. Shoenrock when I was having a dental crisis. I seriously couldnt have landed in better hands. I went to him after a tooth ache went from bad to worse. I ended up with a huge abscess, and Dr. Shoenrock and his office staff were phenomenal. They were informative, comforting, talented at what they did, and extremely caring. I felt more at ease the second I was there. After contacting him that morning, he immediately saw me that morning and was able to triage what care I needed, and provide immediate relief for my problem. Dr. Shoenrock even called me later that day, and later in the week to follow up with me and make sure I was doing okay. I have now chosen him as my full time dentist, and I honestly believe that I couldnt have made a better choice. I would recommend Dr. Shoenrock and all of his office staff (Maryann, and Kiki) to anyone that asked me for a referral. I was extremely lucky to land in their competent hands that day.

We ran into Dr. Shoenrock in a dental office next to our home in Laveen and after he left we decided to follow him back to his practice in Scottsdale (even though he was so much farther away). The difference is that he provides personalized service to each and everyone of his patience. He refuses to make you feel like a number and has brought compassion and personalized care back where it belongs. They will never try and coax you into buying something you do not need and will be sure you do not feel any pain during a procedure. Today I just had a root canal on a tooth and he had to remove 3 nerve endings and I did not feel a thing, furthermore instead of drilling to check to see if my mouth was numb, he used a solution to make the tooth cold instead. By that time I was so numb, I could not feel anything. If you dread the dentist, put that worry aside and come and see Dr. Shoenrock, he will change your opinion about visiting the dentist!

I highly recommend Artisan Dental Center. I hadnt been to a dentist in over five years and I needed a considerable amount of work done. Dr Schoenrock and his assistant, Kiki, explained what needed to be done and gave me options and help in making my decision. They work with a professionalism, efficiency, and humor that are impressive and comforting. I remember when dental procedures seemed to take forever and were filled with anxiety and discomfort, but at Artisan I feel like I am in and out in an instant with hardly a blip of pain. Helping it all is the genuinely warm, friendly, and skillful treatment you receive. It may sound incredible, but I actually looked forward to my appointments. So, if you have been putting off going to the dentist like I had - dont. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose, and the folks at Artisan will make sure that you receive the absolutely best dental care.

My recent experience at Artisan Dental Center was the best dental experience ever! Due to previous medical conditions, Dr. Schoenrokc and his staff (Kiki and Amy) did not pressure for me to have anythig done that I was not comfortable with. Also, I can honestly say that to the best of my recollection I have never had a dentist examine my mouth and glands for potential disease. I was thrilled that he took such care and concern over my well-being. Also, I laughed so much at Dr. Shoenrocks personality and the uplifing personalities of his staff that I am actually looking forward to going BACK TO THE DENTIST in two weeks to get my permanent crown. I also loved the one-on-one care that I was given vs. my previous dental office whereby the dentist rotates around the room trying to "assemly line" as many patients as he can within a short time frame. I HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone!

Dr Schoenrock does good work, however the appointments could be better taken care of. For example, if you dont make your next appointment while youre there, they will automatically set you up for your next one without consulting you until they try to call you to reschedule or remind you TWO DAYS prior. Thats very inefficient, imho. Ive been going to him for years and am finally giving up on how they run that office. Theyll call you at home, when they know you have a job. Theyll continue to call your home and leave messages. They just have no common sense. I refuse to go back and would NOT recommend him to anyone. They have no idea how to take care of their clients. He doesnt do a good job at cleaning, especially if your appointment is in the afternoon on a Thursday or Friday. I always felt rushed when I was there. Heres your hat, whats your hurry. Isnt that how the saying goes?

Just to let everyone know, BE CAREFUL! I went here a few weeks ago and was told over the phone that they were a prefered dentist by my insurance. But after my cleaning and x-rays were done and I recieved the bill I found out they werent! I called them and they told me that they thought they were but later found out they had to submit more paperwork. I also had unneccessary x-rays done and when I called to cancel my appts. they kept saying wait we will have it figured out. And they are not vista family dental like it says on metlifes website. I had to file a complaint with my dental insurance company! Its very sketchy!

My dentist was not comfortable doing a root canal on a tooth with a crown, so I went to Artisan Dental. What a fantastic operation they have, they are so friendly and outgoing, they price matched insurance coverage even though they did not cover that insurance, and most importantly, Dr. Schoenrock and his team did a wonderful job with my root canal. There was no pain, and even when the novocaine wore off, I had no pain, never had to take anything !! They are really great, so if you need a dentist, try Artisan Dental in Scottsdale, really !!

I agree with Linda. The best and longest dentist Ive had. Every time I went to Vista Family Dentistry there would be a new dentist and owner. When I went in in 2004 and met Dr. Schoenrock, I knew he was there to stay for the long run. Hes been a great dentist. He, along with his staff, have been very professional, clean, polite and honest about the things I needed done. My teeth have never been in better shape. I highly recommend Dr. Schoenrock and his staff at Artisan Dental Center.

Warning!! I went to this office because they were close to my home. I wanted a teeth cleaning and they never cleaned them. Instead they gave me Unnecessary x-rays that I later found out were completely unneeded and not covered by health insurance. The office never informed me of that. After that the dentist gave me an oral exam that made extremely uncomfortable by making sounds like "oh yeah" "great mouth". I would not recommend that anyone go to this office!

Who can say going to the dentist is a pleasant experience? This girl. Everyone is exceptionally friendly at Artisan Dental Center in Scottsdale. It was easy to set up my appointment and the directions were clear. I felt welcomed from the second I got there until I left. I do have to return to have some maintenance work on some childhood fillings and I have no anxiety about this. Im looking forward to seeing everyone again!
