I was sent to the er, by Dr Deogun, for hand/arm pain. I couldnt use my hands. Id been having problems and was being treated for cervical pain/herniated discs. I was prepped for surgery. Just before I went in, the surgery was canceled. Nobody said why. I was thinking that maybe its was late in the day, no one could tell me. I was taken to a room for night in the hospital. The next morning, a woman came in yelling at me, scolding me as if I were a child "Your previous surgery has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING!!". Firstly, I never said it did...but she did not even tell me who she was. She kept yelling, repeating herself. I sat there in my hospital bed simply stunned! I asked her "...and you are??" She felt around on my hands, told me I just had arthritis. "Just dont use your hands so much." She said with a pat on my leg. Thanks, Im a metalsmith, right. She left. She then, out at the nurses station started yelling at them! That I just had arthritis and that I "screamed with pain" when she touched my hands. I wanted to jump out of my bed, but I thought, "No, this woman is nuts.". I left with a tube of voltaren. Ive never been in such a situation where the doctor was so rude, placating and condescending and outright lied!

i just couldnt understand most of what she was saying. her accent coupled with the fact she talks softly made communication almost impossible. i found her to be very trite and condesending when questioning her on anything. the bad experiance starts when you walk in the door. her front desk person is absolutely the worst i have EVER dealt with. rude, ignorant, and also condesending. how this person was ever hired in that capacity in a "professional" office is beyond me. i tried dr. caltaru twice. the second time was worse and i havnt gone back. and wont.

I have fibrous dysplasia of the skull and have debilitating head pain every day. Dr. Caltaru is the first doctor who has cared about how to control this pain so I can actually get out of bed. I have been seeing her over 10 years now-and she is the best! As for her front desk lady, Barbara, she is amazing!! She keeps the office running without any help every day they are open!

My husband saw her while he was at Scottsdale Osbourne Hospital. She was very pleasant & took time with getting to know my husband & his symptoms. She had good bedside manner & explained everything in a way so we could understand what was going on.

nasty and rude.... doctor is hard to understand and really tells you nothing that you dont already know. a waste of time and money. will not go back. I imagine she does not have a lot of repeat patients.

Front office lady is consistently rude and quick to get you out the door. Additionally, I requested a follow up from a previous visit and have yet to receive a response.

her receptionist is super rude and condescending. Dr Caltaru is great though in my opinion. She is the one who figured out what was wrong with me.

I am a MS patient of Dr. Caltarus, and after seeing many other neurologists, I find that Dr. Caltaru is the best.
