I was assaigned Dr. Garvey for Gallbladder removal back in 2012. I can honestly say it was THE WORST experience Ive ever had with a surgeon, She was extremely rude to me & told me I wouldnt live to be 20 (Im currently 21). I was seeing her about surgery for my gallbladder and all she did was criticise me about my weight, she didnt even talk about the surgery I was having she just kept telling me how Im fat & unhealthy. Even if her intentions were good she was extremely rude and out of line!!

Dr. Garvey was extremely rude and uncompassionate. My wife had surgery two days ago and needed a prescription. She was the on call Doctor. She told us that because she wrote the prescription yesterday and and we didnt pick it up, we obviously didnt need it and would have to wait until Monday. I wife just had surgery! and I was in the office before it closed and they couldnt locate it. She resumed to pass judgment on us instead of giving us the patient care we deserved.

Dr.Garvey is a blunt and direct doctor. Exactly what I expect in a busy, skilled surgeon. She did an excellent job. I wasnt there to be doted on. I was there to mend a broken back and ribs, and she did just that. If you want a warm, cuddly type of doctor, she isnt that type. But if you want a straight shooter who tells you the blunt facts, and gets you on the path to mend, faster and better, she is the doc for you. I personally liked her.
