ok i dont usually write reviews but this was both scary and amazing. my 9 week old pup was having blood in his stool so i stayed up all night with him making sure he didnt die on me or something, i called in to make my appointment as soon as they opened and when i asked for something early the nurse seemed concerned and asked "is this an emergency?" which helped my tension. Once getting there, no line, just one page to fill, quick and once i told dr. tolehdo (sp?) what the symptoms were he quickly told me what i expected, parvo or worms, he came back wiht a paper saying how much both test would cost and if id want both or just one, not forcing me into anything else unwanted, after he tested negative for both (thank goodness) he told me he would give my Jinx an injection (dont remember for what) and gave me other medication to help my pup, only AFTER everything was done did he mention their wellness plan on vaccinations/neutering/spaying which seemed like a much better plan than banfields 31$ a month (not to mention their schedule is 2 weeks in advance....) all in all 120 for the visit, parvo, and tapeworm testing, totalling 200 with the medicine and food he prescribed (for intestinal problems) which i felt was a neutral price, didnt hurt and im so happy i know my Jinx is gonna be ok.

We used to take our cat to the Cat Care Clinic. He had several chronic health issues. We were spending tons of money and he was not getting better. Finally, a doctor there said, "You can get a second opinion if you want." That was the smartest thing she ever said. We were referred by family members to Dr. Toledo, and he has (literally) been a life saver. Our cats chronic issues have finally been cleared up. I cant say enough about Dr. Toledo. He takes health issues one at a time, takes a logical approach (for example, ruling out potential causes one at a time, taking into consideration all the reasons why something may be happening, etc.). And best of all, the name "Affordable" is quite accurate. I could not be happier with the entire clinic. The staff is courteous and professional, the office is clean and calm, and best of all, whenever I call, I always get to talk with Dr. Toledo himself. No callbacks from front desk personnel. He takes his time and answers all your questions. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

This guy is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!! First started going to Dr. Toledo in the late 90s and since that time he has overseen the health of all of our dogs. In all these years I have only heard him refer to them as dogs once when he said my older guy was a good dog, otherwise he always calls them his patients, and based on my experiences, I know he truly gives 100% every time. There might be cheaper out there, but you get what you pay for. In the case of my first buddy, Dr Toledo operated when everyone else was talking about quality of life and putting him down, and several wonderful years later when it was the right thing to do, Dr. Toledo was with us when we had to make that decision. 2 years ago when one of my boys tore his ACL and couldnt walk, Dr.. Toledo took care of it. Today we were in shots and, as usual, everything was taken care of with that same smile we have seen for years. I WOULD PUT THIS GUY UP AGAINST ANY VET ON THE PLANET!!!!

We had a very good experience at Affordable Animal Hospital. It is obvious to me that Dr. Toledo cares about both his animal patients and their families. Our dog needed topical surgery to remove a cyst. The doctor took the time to meet our dog and answer any and all questions we had without making us feel rushed. Our main concern with the surgery was using an anesthetic - she had a major allergic reaction to it when she was spayed and was very ill for days after its use. Other vet offices refused to work with us and said anesthesia was necessary. Dr. Toledo offered to use a sedative to keep her relaxed and to also numb the area where the surgery would be performed. This worked out perfectly - the surgery took less than an hour without any problems, my dog felt fine later that day, and the scar healed nicely. He also was the most affordable. I will be taking her back if she has another health issue. Thank you!

Dr. Toledo is AWESOME and his staff is friendly and kind! My dog Daisy was hit by a car and needed two surgeries. One to fix her dislocated hip and the other to sew up her other leg which split open :[ Dr. Toledo fixed her up AMAZINGLY and Daisy just LOVES coming to AAH. When she hears Dr. Toledos voice in the next room she starts crying for him excitedly and wags her tail. We were surprised at her reaction because she only acts like that with us, lol. Another thing that rocks is the surgeries were VERY inexpensive compared to the $5000 and up other vets were quoting us. So definitely come here if you wanna save yourself your hard earned dollars! Daisy has recovered beautifully and if her fur was not shaved where they operated, you could never tell that she was hit by a car! FIVE STARS! This place is amazing and I have been recommending it to all my pet owning friends and family! :D

I read a few good reviews but was not sure until I checked it out in person. First of all, there was no line or waiting period, they saw me the day I called. The doctor was very nice, genuinely interested in my cats health, attentive and detail-oriented. I wanted to give my kitty some shots, and I expected that the vet would want to administer them all in one day, so that I pay the maximum. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me that it would be healthier for the cat to space the shots apart 2 weeks approx (I agree, this is the best way), so he was not money-oriented. The next time I came in of course there was no additional charge for exam or anything, just for the shot. I recommend this clinic to all my friends. It really is affordable, and I loved the doctor.

Excelent service, i had hard time finding a good vet that could her my dog with allegies, and the vet nail it. I had seen a lot of Drs. Even the low cost clinic at Garden Grove, nothing compare to this one, at the low cost the dr. Refuse to give more injections to my dog because his allergies and send me to an allergic specialist that cost $40 the examination. Then i went to other dr. Near Euclid and la Palma and he gave my dog an injection and 2 meds but did not want me to refill until he had perfomed a liver test wich it was going to be another $50 on the top of the $235 already paid Last resource was this clinic and Dr. Toledo tryed 2 diffenent med. On my dog and he is perfectly fine. With out forcing me to do any extra test.

If I could give him more than 5 stars. I would. DR Toledo is an amazing vet. He saved my dogs life. I dont regret taking her to this place. Both the staff and the doctor are very friendly . Dr. Toledo knows what he talks about and he properly diagnosed my dog. My dog was in critical condition, on the edge of death. She was vomitting non stop for 2 weeks and not eating. Dr. Toledo acted quickly and. After 2 weeks she finally ate and now is at home. Thank you so much Dr Toledo. I really appreciate your hard work and honesty. I will be continuing taking my dogs to this place. Very happy with his service ! I recommend him !
