I went to this place only because I adopted a puppy and this is the vet they took her to. I have been to this vet a few times now and every time I have NEVER seen the actual Veterinarian. I have only seen the same nurse, who does not completely know what he is talking about. I tell him that the stitches in my puppies legs are due to come out soon and he tells me that they are dis-solvable (it was done there!). He takes my puppy to the back where I cannot go to talk to the Vet and comes back with my dog to confirm that the stitches wont dissolve and gives me a message from the Vet about my puppy. Really?!? I have never been to this place- I am a new customer and the Vet wont even come out and introduce him or herself? You always take the dog to the back to see the vet and I am not able to witness this? All I get is a passed on message from the vet? Seems shady to me. If Im not worth the Vets time to actually see his or her face (I dont even know their gender!) then they are not worth my nor my puppies time either. ALSO- the stitches that are actually supposed to dissolve in her belly- have knotted and they have had to cut open her belly to get the knot out and there is now another knot. Im taking her somewhere else to get this checked out, because this is the first time Ive had this problem.

I took my kitten in for deworming medicine and asked if she had earmites. The vet kept calling her a "him," which isnt a big problem, although I kept correcting him. Then he shoved a q-tip in her ear and she hissed. Her ear was folded down and irritated for an hour after I got home. He said "Youre cat seems to have a problem with me, I dont know why." Im sorry, sir, if my kitten doesnt like strange men stabbing her in the ear. Then he acted frightened of her and asked me to put the deworming medicine in her mouth. I told him I didnt know how, and he said he was afraid she was going to scratch him. Uh, dont they train you for this? What exactly am I paying you for? When he finally put the medicine in her mouth, he jumped back. She didnt even move. The grown man couldnt even handle a 8 month old kitten. Not only that, but he injured her. Usually, when I take my pet to the veterinarian, I dont expect to bring her home in worse condition than when she entered the place.

Im not sure which Aspen Hospital Tracy went to, but it couldnt be this one. I originally started taking my new puppy last year, around 3 months old or so, here after reading the 2008 reviews. They were very kind, explained every procedure to me and made sure I was not paying for unnecessary medicines a hospital like Banfeild would do. A few weeks ago we had an emergency, and even though I did not have an appt. and it was only a hour or two before they closed, they did everything they could to help her that night so I wouldnt have to go to and emergency clinic. She has been fine since then.

WE WILL NEVER GO TO THIS VET AGAIN!!! My son took our dog here because he seemed like he was coming down with something and they charged me $68.00 to say that he needs medicine and thats an additonal $125.00. ($193.00 total) I called and asked what the $68.00 covered and the girl that answered the phone should not be at the front desk, she had no clue of what I was talking about and she took my name and number and said she would call me back, well that was 8 months ago and I never received a call back. We now go to Animal Medical Clinic in Brea.

Worse place ever. First and for most the lady was unwilling to give me a ball park range for an ear flush. I have called 5 or 6 other places all gave a price. This is not my first rodeo. I know how these places work. I have yet to find a vet that is not all about the money. Makes me sick. I would not feel comfortable about this place so I did not go. Strate up.

Dr Toledo has treated our cats for the past few years. He is extremely compassionate and honest. He never rushes an appointment, gives as many treatment options as he can so a considered decision can be made. The clinic is not the most fancy, but its clean, and their hours of operation are good.
