NURSES: Okay, not chatty or friendly. ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF: The office manager is bright and more than up to snuff, but some of the administrative staff appear to be uncooperative, lazy, and inefficient. After 40 years of dealing with many different medical staff in many different states, Im shocked at their incompetence and lack of willingness to work on seemingly simple matters that they should know how to deal with. Are they just incompetent or maddeningly petty and spiteful? Or maybe theyre just so lazy they dont care about the patients? BILLING: The Alta Bates Medical Group does the actual billing, but the BFP staffer who interfaces with Alta Bates is the worst Ive ever encountered. BEWARE: they appear not to believe in patient privacy and talk about the patient personal and financial history with each other.

I have been a patient at Dr. Fiscellas office for the past two years. I have had excellent care and service each time I have visited the office. Sheila Durlester is my Nurse Practitioner and the only professional I have needed to see. Sheila is the BEST! Shes experienced, compassionate, practical, caring, intelligent, has great common sense, and is very easy to talk with. She has provided excellent care, and I recommend her very highly. I have also had excellent care from the nurses, and the office staff is very nice and competent. Thanks to all of you at Dr. Fiscellas office!

I made the switch to Dr. Fiscellas office after having problems with my previous healthcare provider. I was initially worried that I would have to spend a few months searching for a new office that both my wife and I found satisfactory but our initial experiences were so amazing we ended up staying and havent regretted it in the slightest. The entire staff is friendly, efficient, and understanding and if they are taking on new patients and you live in the area this would be an extremely good choice.
