I had LASIK surgery performed by Dr. Dougherty two weeks ago and the results are stunning! I can see perfectly clearly now without any glasses! I had wanted to get LASIK for a couple years, but hadnt had it done yet. I read really good things about Dr. Dougherty and went get a consultation with him. I didnt want to just go to anybody since eyes are not something I wanted to get the budget version of the service. Cheap store brand detergent, sure. LASIK eye surgery, I want the best. Dr. Dougherty has done over 25,000 eye surgeries which makes him one of the most experienced laser eye surgeons in the world. It made me feel much better knowing he has done this that many times with such high success rate. During my consultation I felt 100% confident trusting that Dr. Dougherty was taking good care of me. He was confident and personable and spent as much time as I wanted answering my questions and explaining how the surgery would go, the vision correction I should expect, any associated risks, and what to expect for recovery. I had the surgery and I could see clearly that very same day! And since then in the two weeks my vision continued to improve. I can see so clearly now it amazes me! Dr. Dougherty even called to personally check on me later in the day after my surgery, which was a very pleasant surprise. Dr. Dougherty and his team provide a world class experience and give one of the best services out there in my opinion. The ability to see clearly again after years of needing glasses is life changing!

My optometrist who is also a family friend, sent me to Dr. Dougherty 10 years ago for Lasik surgery saying that he felt strongly that Dr. Dougherty had the most experience and success with Lasik. My surgery was extremely successful. Recently, I needed a lens replacement surgery so I went back to Dr. Dougherty because I trust him to take excellent care of my eyes. His staff is very professional, kind and energetic in helping their patients through the process of consultation and surgery. Dr. Dougherty takes his time to explain all the pros and cons of the types of treatment available and to recommend what would be most fitting and cost effective for each person. My experience this time was just as pleasant as the first time. I had no anxiety or pain, I was treated with care by everyone in office and given great instructions for self care during recuperation. Dr. Dougherty called me personally at home to ask me how I was recuperating and to make sure I had no questions or concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Dougherty to my family and friends as well.

I have been referring patients to Paul Dougherty, MD for over 20 years, and today I became a patient again; in the past, Dr. Dougherty had performed cataract surgery on my wife and I. My experience at Dougherty Laser Vision was outstanding. The office staff was helpful from the moment that my wife (who was also seen as a patient) and I walked in to the office. The wait time was under 10 minutes. The time spent in the exam room with a staff doctor, before Dr. Dougherty came in, was appropriate for the pre-testing exam. Then Dr. Dougherty came in to the exam room in about 5 minutes and spent a long time with a thorough eye exam for the both of us. We did not feel rushed and Dr. Dougherty answered all of our questions and concerns. After over 50 years in practice as an optometrist, I highly recommend Dr. Dougherty to my patients and my family members. He and his staff are absolutely the best for your medical vision care needs.

Dr. Dougherty and his staff were professional and personable. I am an optometrist and so is my wife. This past week she had custom all laser lasik surgery with Dr. Dougherty. He was very accommodating to her work schedule so he extended his hours just to do her surgery. My wife and I see post op lasik and cataract surgeries on a daily basis. We wanted to choose only the best. Dr. Dougherty is truly the doctors doctor. My wife had the surgery at 7 pm and was back at work the next day, talking to her patients about "last nights" surgery! The thing that we werent expecting is that her vision post surgery is actually better than with her contacts and glasses pre surgery. Dr. Dougherty is my HERO!! My first experience with Dr. Dougherty was in 2004 when he performed Lasik surgery and for the first time since 4th grade I didnt have to wear glasses! It was a great experience and I have had no issues since. Then my eye was injured at a company picnic and it was the most painful experience I ever had. When I arrived at Dougherty Laser Vision the front desk staff was amazing, they make you feel so welcome and the office is so nice. When Dr. Dougherty examined my eye I knew I was in good hands. I have now been going there for over a month and when I walk in they all know me by name. They have turned a not so good circumstance into a pleasurable experience. Everyday it gets sharper. Immediate 20/20 and almost no downtime for Visian lens implants. Professional, Southern-like hospitality, and truly caring staff and surgeon. I cant say enough, except that everything happens for a reason and Im glad we waited for Dr. D. No way Im taking chances with anyone else. Coming from a -10.00 (i.e., hefty near-sightedness) to 20/20 on Day 1 after the ten-min procedure...ten-min and my whole world is glasses and contacts free! Thank you, Dr. Dougherty. Hi-five to your awesome staff who explained everything well and was uber patient with my hyperactive toddler companion. Its no wonder you are the surgeon other doctors go to for their own eyes.

Thanks to Dr. Dougherty I have 20/20 vision after 2 decades of glasses and contacts. He has given me such a wonderful gift to be able to not depend on anything for perfect vision. I wake up and I can see, I used to worry in an emergency I would not be able to locate my glasses, not anymore. Besides great vision, Dr. Dougherty and his team were extremely thorough and double checked all their testing to decide what procedure was best for me, after all that they decided that ICL surgery would be the best option for me. Unfortunately my experience was not good I got my corrective surgery in Jan 2016 and at present my right eye vision is great but my left eye will need more surgery Ill have to go another surgeon to fix it meanwhile Im still making payments on the surgery dougherty did they did not offer to compensate at all They just referred me to another surgeon really disappointed Would not reccomend Thankfully the staff at dougherty laser Contacted me and were genuinely concerned about my concerns they stepped up and made things right And Im happy about that they were very professional

Dougherty Laser Vision is the best! Paul Dougherty, M.D. did the raindrop inlay for my eyesight and I will never look back! I can say adios to reading glasses. Dr. Dougherty and his staff were very professional and I felt at ease during the whole procedure. For the first time in many years I can see upclose without my glasses.
