have an older dog that I had been taking to Dr. Mark Rigoni at the nearby Southern California Veterinary Hospital where I was really UNHAPPY with the service. I found Banfield on Google and their "free first appointment" coupon. It was 6:30 on a Saturday when I called them, and EVEN THOUGH they close at 7PM when I explained my dog was really suffering they said to come in. After a quick examination, they said my dog had a lot of fluid in his lungs and because I had been planning on putting him down anyway they gently suggested maybe now was the time. With tears in my eyes, I said good bye to my friend and he died in my arms being petted eating cookies. The staff there was unbelievably compassionate and even adjusted my bill as a courtesy. They won me over, and I will definitely be taking my other animals there. If you dont go here, at least DONT go to Southern California Veterinary Hospital.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place and the people working there! I brought my kitten for an exam and I felt there was a genuine concern about her ailment... The Nurses are incredibly sweet and go out of their way to make the situation easier on both the pet and the owner. (Thank you Vanessa!)

I Trusted my pets life in their hands and he died and they were never upfront about the seriousness of my pets illness they were only concern about making money I spent over a 1000 dollars and all I got was my best friend in ashes. I felt like they stole my money and killed my friend. Go somewhere else!!!

Today was my first visit here ! 45 min waiting time , And the girl on the desk said it is normal, which every day its the same thing, 40-55 min waiting time ! Only one vet get to see the sick dogs. One doctor !!!!! I am here for 40 min and the dog before us just came inside the vet. Horrible !!!!!

I took my cat there for the first time. The vet and the technician did not know how to handle my cat. Brought the cat home without an exam. Took my cat to another vet and they could examine her and give her shots without any problem. Take your pet to a place where they know what they are doing!

These people are great, vets are top notch. The only draw back is the front desk isnt really into working. You have to constantly be on top of them if you dont want to wait for hours.
