(Needed vet open late for emergency appt. Cat comes in room wobbling unable to hold head up.)Charged me hundreds of dollars for an emergency visit wherein they misdiagnosed my cat. They gave him seizure medication, claiming the animal was epileptic. Turns out he had a SEVERE inner ear infection and was desperately in need of antibiotics. Needless to say the seizure meds did not improve his condition at all overnight. SO GLAD we went to Doc Jerry (first thing next morning), where her STAFF could tell immediately from his irregular pupil dilation that he had an infection. Doc Jerry confirms staffs first suspicions and gives antibiotic shot on site. Cat started looking better in matter of hours, it would have died of we had listened to the vet at Clearlake Veterinary Clinic.

So kind and patient, I had to take my kitty in and they were more than understanding with me. They were very patient with my calls when I wanted an update (we had to board him for over a week), and they always informed us as much as they could on his condition. When I visited him the techs would tell me how much they loved having him around (hes a very social, chatty Siamese) and things they observed. They even cleaned the blankets and crate we brought him in with. Couldnt say enough nice things about this place! Definitely will be going here for years to come!

I have not had to take my animals in there yet but I am taking my dog to be fixed I set up an appointment I want in had to wait a little bit but the people at the front desk were absolutely wonderful give me a lot of information and when I didnt understand and I asked they did not make me feel like I was stupid I really appreciated it

Very caring for my cat newly diagnosed with diabetes. Helpful and concise consultation from both Drs. Sally and Waldner. Sensitive to up to date research on this condition. I also enjoy the feeling of concern for animals who need homes in their clinic. They always have kittens, cats or dogs for adoption potential in the wait area!
