When you know you know. I have had a few English Bulldogs in my life. Wallowitz my three year old boy has had problems breathing and has ended up in the ER and even near death. It did not take much, could be 85 degree day and basic panting would put him into trouble. A good friend suggested Dr. Lidikay. We approached with caution. The last two days have been in the high 90s and this would have been enough heat to put us on death watch for Wallowitz. He has been fine, better than fine. I can say I know Dr. Lidikay did an amazing job. The soft pallet surgery and everything else Dr. Lidikay did for Wallowitz not only extended his life but inproved the quality of life for everyone in our family. Dr. Lidikay and his staff are amazing. We drove from Santa Barbara and drove past several vets to see Dr. Lidikay. If you have an English Bulldog and you want someone who knows the breed and can help improve things see Dr. Lidikay.

Was afraid to come back here after my experience with the previous vet years ago. Dr L is great and I was surprised by how reasonable the prices were. I expected to pay much more. I didnt feel any compassion from the vet assistants. Our assistant only took a temp and was not personable. I didnt see her again after that. I held my pet for the drs exam. The receptionist was very busy doing her job and was the one expected to go over my medications with me which she didnt really know how to do and what she explained was different from what the bottle said. Its the job of the vet assistant to follow through with the visit and answer any medical questions. The front staff was great, friendly and welcoming. Will come back but hope they can make some changes.

Dr. has been caring of my English Bulldog for years and has been the greatest!! I appreciate his common sense approach, reasonable pricing, and everyone that works there is friendly and knowledgeable. He performed his first tail amputation on my dog and it was perfect. He is much appreciated.
