When I adopted my cat this past weekend I was told that I could take her in to several different vets in the area within a week for a free checkup. I decided to try this vet in Exeter. When I called to make the appointment I told them that she had been sneezing a lot. When the vet came in...he was in the room for all of 30 seconds just to tell me theres nothing they will do about the sneezing unless she has green snot too, so come back if that happens. He leaves and the girl at the front charges me $50.00. When I asked about the free visit or at least getting a discount...she tells me that because I said my cat was sneezing and didnt ask for a "wellness exam" that I would need to pay the $50.00. They should have told me over the phone that they would not treat my cat unless she had green snot. I took time off work for that appointment...what a waste of time and money.

My dog was very sick and could die, I told the lady on the phone that My dog was very sick and I needed him to be treated, she said that they could not see my dog tell the following tuesday which is 7 day later! My dog could of and probably been dead by then! The eexter vets could care less about your animal! I am apauld by there attitude! I told her that I will have to fine someone else and she said fine like I insulted her! I call Redwood vet hospital in visilia and they bring him in right now! That is the way it should be! I will Never bring any of my pets to exeter vet! That is not the way to treat a six animal! Shame on you!

dr haggard is the best vet in the tulare county area. have referred other pet parents to this dr and they all have been very pleased with his very caring attitude toward their pets
