yI would not recommend this vet for anyone who lives their pet. we took our sweet puppy in fri night with bloody diarrhea and bloody vomit...we were told after I signed all the forms and the lobby and parking lot being empty that we had to wait 20 to 30 min. ...we actually had to wait 45 min in the car. the nurse was very sweet and kind....thats the only good thing I have to say about this place. The dr said she had to stay in the hospital til Monday morning if we wanted her to make it. she was my 9yr olds puppy and we all wanted to do what we could to help her. (she was taking a special liquid at home and water and was walking...she had gotten a little better....so we thought this would help her even more!) Im a single mom to 6 kids and cant afford large vet bills. we agreed and called the next mornjng at 7am....they told us she was doing better...we asked to go see her briefly and they said we couldnt. they then called an hour later and said she had died! they were so uncaring and unkind! they then wanted to know what we wanted to do with her remains and when we were going to pay the remaining fees. she wasnt even in there for 12 hours...we dont even know if she lived during the night or when she truly passed away. why couldnt we see her that morning at 7am???; we paid $400 for nothing! and they want us to pay the remaining $400! they killed our precious pet. I believe she would had survived if we kept her home.....she was walking and drinking. my family is devastated. we love you Cloe and are so sorry!!!!!

We took a kitten in that we knew had been bitten by a black window. My girlfriend seen it happen getting the kitten away and killing the black widow. . We rushed too the office after 10pm. I risked getting a speeding ticket. To get there fast. I had no problem paying the higher price for service. I filled out form and paid the money. What really pisses me off is how the worker at the desk took her sweet time entering the information into the computer took time to file a credit card receipt and the whole time I watching my pregnant girlfriend crying and holding our dying kitten that already in alot off pain while she takes her time . Then after that sat in waiting room another 20 minutes just to be told really nothing could be done. So we had it put down. I think the receptionist needs and to have the emergency concept explained to her. They had my money way couldnt they have take my girlfriend and kitten into the exam room and I could have stayed and we could have done the non emergency stuff then. I can comment to much on how good or bad there medical treatment of animals are since our was not much to be done. But as for treatment of people that I can comment on. I just hope they never have to experience what we did. Cause I wouldnt wish that on a enemy . Not a place I would recommend. I wish I would have just drove to Fresno. At least the extra time driving would have been time well spent . Instead of waiting an hour to hear there no hope

Anything positive that is said about this place is obviously fake. With such an overwhelming amount of negative reviews about this facility all over the web and the fact that on their own website you cannot leave a review shows me like I said, anything positive that is said about this place must be fake. Its the same thing over and over and is completely in line with my own personal experience. To wrapped up in money with a total lack of concern for the well being of your sick family member. It was still over 100 degrees outside the day I brought my sick senior dog in there and even though I came with the amount of money I was told to bring they were not going to start treating my very sick dog until I brought an additional $300. I agreed to do that just needed to run to the bank to get it but they wanted to put my dog into the hatchback of my corvette for the trip!!!!!! Blown away. Told them to ease up on the concentration being strictly on payment and to start treatment. Then I was told to get out that they were not going to treat my poor dog. Cant believe this place is allowed to stay in business. Hundreds of reviews that are the same. Visalia would be better not to have this as an option. The only positive thing was the young man that carried Sierra out to my car who apologised over and over for his employers unprofessional behavior. This place needs to have its doors closed.

I recently had to take my cat here for an emergency visit for a urethral blockage and I could not be happier with the service. From the moment I walked in they were all very friendly. I was seen right away because thankfully there were no other people waiting. They immediately took my Pawly back to see the vet and they confirmed that he was indeed blocked. From what I had read I was so scared that he had something that was going to be an ongoing problem and would require lifelong care and special food. I was literally bawling in the little room because I did not want to be spending thousands on my beloved kitty and I was considering putting him down. The girl who helped me was so patient as I sobbed and asked questions. They even waited patiently while I went out to call my hubby to run the situation by him. We decided to go ahead and have the blockage cleared and give him a chance to live. In the end they were able to treat my little guy and it was not a lifelong condition he had at all but instead a foxtail had gotten lodged where it did not belong. I had always been afraid to take a pet to the Emergency vet but I was relieved to find that they prices were actually not much more than I would have paid at my regular vet. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Staff was friendly.... except the veterinarian. Our dog was experiencing some symptoms such as hives, swelling, and diarrhea late at night and this was the only place open. We were given two choices. $200 for an injection and fluids or $800 for some ambiguous treatment which was never explained. The money wasnt the issue for us as we were willing to pay whatever to make sure our pet was okay. When i asked the vet what the difference in treatment was he replied "the price" with no elaboration. Clearly the price difference was outlined on the piece of paper sitting right in front of me.... I suggest going to another vet unless it is a dire emergency. Not that the care was terrible (assistants seemed to handle most of it and did a fine job), but the night vet is some drugged out creep. We told him that we researched the symptoms online before heading that way, and told him that we had given our puppy benadryl to ease the symptoms (probably a relevant piece of information for most medical professionals). He replied by calling me "Dr google" and made some other lude comments which i tuned out. Regardless our puppy is doing fine. They did help but it probably isnt good business/medical practice to belittle your clients and blatantly monetize the treatment of their animals.
