I love visiting Woodward Pet Hospital, my dog Gretshen loves visiting because she gets lots of positive affirmation and love. I hold Dr.Barjinder Sohi and his staff in the highest regard they are kind, patient, have a generous nature, honest, open, and love animals. The staff at Woodward Pet Hospital, has great communication skills and talk effectively with me about what Gretshens needs are. Dr. Barjinder Sohi explains clearly what a diagnosis is and what the treatment should be. The staff is very compassionate, to Gretshen and to me, I am at ease when I visit and feel very comfortable asking questions or expressing concerns. They have excellent customer service skills and always satisfy Grethens needs. Dr. Barjinder Sohi is a dedicated veterinatian and has thorough knowledge of the anatomy, ailments, and behaviors of different kinds of animals. I learn something new every time I visit his office. Dr. Barjinder Sohi and his staff are passionate about animals and committed to provide the best care for my sweet Gretshen. The staff has excellent management skills, I am notified via text of Gretshens appointments and notified when vaccines are due. I can schedule an appointment through a link on the text, or schedule on-line. When I show up for Gretshens scheduled appointments I get right in with very little wait time. The staff at Woodward Park Hospital, have the highest moral and ethical standards, they are motivated to serve and are very competent, compassionate, and are concerned and interested in Gretshens needs. The staff takes time to talk to Gretshen, give lots of hugs, and build a relationship which has occured over time. Gretshen is a member of our family and very important to us. She needs regular care and maintenance to keep her happy ; I trust Dr. Barjinder Sohi and his staff at Woodward Pet Hospital to provide this care. I wouldnt take Gretshen any where else. DO NOT GO TO THEM. We have been going to this facility for ten years. They have been a bit pricey but close to home. I recently got a dog and started taking him there for vaccinations. During my last visit the vet told me that I should start my dog on heart worm medication. They offered to have me buy it there, at the office, but I declined because I knew I would be spending three times as much there. Being a college student, I decided to shop around. I tried ordering the medication off of 1-800-pet-meds. They needed a vet approval which I thought would be no problem since I was there in August and I knew it was recorded. WRONG! They told me I hadnt had an exam at that location with my dog ever and I had just gotten vaccinations. I sat in the room with my dog two times while the Dr. Cox told me he was performing the exam. I told them that it was ridiculous that they cant keep adequate records. The receptionist then put me on hold, put Dr. Cox on the phone, and he proceeded to interrupt me, call me stupid, then told me to take my pet elsewhere. He also said that since I didnt have the receipt to prove I had gotten an exam then I would have to pay for another one. I will have no problem taking my pet somewhere else to a vet that actually cares about my pet. I have had quite a few other issues with this vet office trying to get prescriptions refilled. They want you to come in for an exam each and every time and spend $42. I know Im not the only one who cant afford this. They rip you off. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MAKING MONEY.

We have been taking our small dogs for approximately 30 yrs. to Woodward Pet Hospital. Originally, Mark Wells, DVM was our Vet, then Dr. Cox; both were excellent vets!! Dr. Wells & Dr. Cox retired and Dr. Sohi took over the practice approximately 2.5 yrs. ago. We have always received the best professional care for all of our fur kids and Dr. Sohi is no exception. Currently, we now have Gary, a Senior Doxie who recently had dental surgery. Dr. Sohi did not feel confident in removing one of Garys anchor teeth as he felt jaw breakage may occur. He referred us to Dr. Brook Niemiec, DVM, a specialist who comes to Fresno twice a month from the Los Angeles area to perform such surgeries. We appreciated Dr. Sohis honesty in referring us to Dr. Niemiec. Dr. Niemiec did an outstanding job on Gary with no jaw breakage and Gary is doing very well, in spite of the fact that all of his teeth have now been removed. However, it doesnt seem to bother him a bit and now all of the infection and dental disease is a thing of the past. He is a happy little guy free of pain and acts like a puppy with lots more energy weve noticed, especially on his daily walks. Thank you Dr. Sohi and Staff for the excellent care you have provided our Little Gary!!~ Robert & Maggie Brecht :) :)

When I first went into Woodward Pet Hospital, I was greeted very warmly by the receptionist and when she had us to go back into the examination room, she went away for a moment and came back with treats for my dog. My dog is a large dog so she, rather than just bringing one treat she brought 4 or 5 treats which made my girl very happy (she loves treats). I had her there for a yearly physical and the doctor was very polite, very nice, and very professional in his examination of her. I was pleased how well he took care of her. Very gentle and caring. I believe you will have the same experience as I had when you go there. Donald & Sasha My next visit When you love your pet as much as I love mine (She is my therapy dog), The quality of care IS of most importance. Also, the caring of my pet is equally as important to me. Over the years I have NOT found a team that has outdone these people!!!!!!!! Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.

I have been coming to this vet hospital before Dr Sohe took over. I love the Dr and most of the staff. The two girls that wear glasses are great!! The one blonde that does not have glasses, I think her name is Karen, is often rude!! I have seen her argues with her coworkers over nothing and talk about that coworker in a mean why after she left the room. Her and another girl is always talking about their private life, I feel that should be talked about when no one else is around. I have heard her cursing why sitting at the front desk.... I wonder if she is so unhappy at her job why is she there? Dr Sohe is a good Dr he is very carrying and compassionate with me and my many pets I bring to him he is very on point and explains everything to me so I know exactly what going on with my pets... I recommend Dr Sohe to everyone.. I just try to schedule my pets to come in when the other girl is not there.

Dr. Cox is fine if you are just going for vaccines or run of the mill health issues. However, my cat had these really weird spasms. I got captured a couple of them on video, as he didnt have them all of the time. I went at a time where there were no other patients. Talked to the tech and she told me the vet probably wouldnt look at the video and Id have to bring my cat in. She went back to ask anyway and confirmed that this would be the case. I would think that someone who honestly cared about animals would at least check it out to see if it looked familiar. This rubbed me the wrong way and I wont be going back to this vet again. Just seems like he is only out to make a buck. After some research, I figured out what was causing the spasms: it was an anti-diarrhea medication called metronidazole. It a rare side effect, but once I stopped giving it to him, the spasms stopped.
