This is place is a joke, my moms dog lost his eye because of the bad treatment he got from this place, we spent a lot of money on unecessary stuff that had nothing to do with his eye, every started it as irritation on his eye, so we decided to take him there, the doc said the dog had a cherry eye and all he needed was antibiotics and it wasnt nothing serious and its very common, then when took him back another doc said it could be cheery eye or conjunctivitis and that the medication that the first doc gaves werent going to do anything anymore but to continue giving him that medication, so instead of him getting better with the days, his eye started to get worse and got really swollen , so we decided to take him back since he didnt show any improvement so they kept saying no sorry thats definitely " cherry eye " and they needed to put him to sleep to explore his eye but for that he needed x rays, blood work etc then we got a called from them saying my dog has his kidney inflamed and than my dog was addicted to this medication that they previously prepacribed us because they gave us the wrong instructions how to apply and even gaves us extra, so finally he decided to put the dog asleep to explore his eye so after he did that , he comfirmed to be cherry eye so he gaves us two options about the treatment and said to think about it, since it wasnt " that serious " and to keep giving the dog theyre drops ( which the other doc said it wasnt gonna do anything anymore ) so now we were really upset and angry since there wasnt any signs of my dog getting better , so we went to complain to the manager , so they told us to do surgery on him but for now to take some other drops and keep his eye moisted meanwhile so his eye kept getting worse to the point that we had to take him to a different vet and get his eye removed , we didnt get any money back or any answer from that place, the vet from AV veterinary center was so mad that he even contacted the other vet to asked him to give him a list of the stuff he did on the dog so please do not take your pet to this place and if you have to a bit extra to make sure your pet gets treat the right way do it.

My 4 months and 3 days old Pomeranian Perla was killed by Mission Animal Hospital. She was brought for her third set a set of shots. The vet office gave her Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP, and Corona vaccines at once. The rabies vaccine is the dangerous one, and should be given by itself. It is recommended to not give more than one vaccine with rabies for a small dog. Vets who care recommend waiting until 6 months to give rabies vaccine. Perla got all the shots including rabies at once. As soon as we walked out of the office, she rolled over, peed on herself, and started frantically crying. We brought her back to the vet’s office. They took her and the first thing that came out from them in less than a minute is if I am willing to pay $220 so they save Perla’s life. I was told that there is 99.99% guarantee that she will be alright. I paid the bill. Later I got a call saying that Perla is not doing well, and that she went to comma and possibly is brain dead; also they asked if I am willing to talk to billing department to continue the life support. At no point the veterinarian office did not show any compassion for Perla. Their main interest was $$$, and nothing more. The bad decision of the hospital is what killed her, and the hospital took money, and wanted to get more money to continue “saving” her life. Run from this place, or your dog may get killed and you pay money for “saving” the dog.

Poor customer service in the sense that they take too long, they scheduled me for an appointment, and took more than an hour just to take my dog in. Moreover, the nurse that received me was addresing in an unrespectful manner, and as if i had done something to her, WTF, what the freak. Then i called and the girl who answered the phone was giving a bunch of inaacurate information, moreover, they had me on hold for an hour. Also, the overall feeling i get from this clinic is that they value less pet owners that walk in with neuter/spay vouchers. It seemed to me that most people in there are irritated when a pet owner walks in with a neuter/spay voucher, here, the owner only pays $50 for the whole surgery, which includes meds. One star for the overall poor attitudes that seem to rule this place. This clinic needs to pay more attention to customer service, in order to become a five star clinic. I would also like to say, to this day my dog survived the procedure and i have noticed no problems in him. It has been about a month since the neutered-surgery took place.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I had to take my dog to them for emergency services. They made us sign a contract in order to start the process. There was very little time to go over the contract initially. Our dog ended up not needing a lot of the services that were listed in the contract and they actually released her a day early because she was doing so well. I asked about the contract and if there was going to be money taken off because she didnt need a lot of the services. The owner came in and yelled at me in front of my daughter, she was in tears. He looked at us and said "well, your dog is alive, isnt she" He refused to give us our dog if she balance wasnt paid. I paid the balance, took my dog, and left! He was very rude and acted extremely inappropriately. I will NEVER go back and in fact have told many people not to use them. If my daughter wasnt with me I would have called the sheriffs department, that is how verbally abusive he was being. DO NOT USE MISSION ANIMAL HOSPITAL

If I could give less than one star I would. I had used them once before. They quote a price and then another person will come on and say a different price. But I thought it was me so I paid it. He never touched the dog. Gave me some pills to knock her out, not enough to do the job so I had to go the next day and buy more form them. Today we need to put down a dog. My wife called and she was quoted a price of $240.00 to come to the house to put her down. So we gave them a cc and they said everything was ok. Well then another person comes on the phone to confirm all the info and says that the cc was charged $360.00 total. I said no way and to cancel everything and to refund the money on the cc. Twenty min later we get a call from the office manager saying the Doctor is going home now and he will make us a deal and do it for $285.00. I would NEVER USE THIS PLACE. They have now done the price game twice.
