I like this vet one because he is really blunt does not jerk you around like the Vet ER Hospital in Bakersfield( VERY RUDE AND TOTALLY OVERCHARGE--totally misdiagnosed as well) When i had bought my pup from a breader in LA my pup was fine...but then 2 days passed and she ended up getting really sick...we were thinking parvo but the Vet was looking at all of her symptoms and it ended up being a really bad worm...so he helped us out a lot and told us what to expect when to bring her back if we see certain things..really nice...then after her worm went away...She ended up having a seizure and since it was late at night i took her to the ER in Bakersfield....RUDE people and diagnosis was she was bloated and she must had licked an outlet( but she was no where near ANY outlets) so i paid 475 for nothing...i followed up with our vet and right away wanted to do blood work started giving her distemper meds to help with seizures...and that was it...he got the diagnosis spot on...and i only paid 45 for the meds and the visit...he really cares for the animal..yes the equipment they use is a bit out dated..but hey it works fine..why spend money when it is not needed..I would recommend him to anyone and the assistants there are great they are really helpful.

This used to be our family vet, we had been going there for many many years, but here lately the vet has been really rude to me. I thought maybe he was having a bad day but after three trips where I was talked over and treated like a complete idiot I wont go back there. The last stray was a few months ago where I took a puppy in that had come out of state with its first set of shots already given to it. I was told more then a handful of times to get that set of shots a second time through them "just in case" After I refused for the 6th or so time I was finally told, and I quote, "Well when your dog gets parvo dont come in here b****ing and whining to me about it." by the vet himself. I will NEVER go back there!

Called to get quote Melissa was very rude and maybe stoned or on drugs. Took the dog in and they misdiagnosed the problem saying the dog needed blood work, thinking it had parvo (did not say it, but that is the 99% reason for blood work) the dog died because it had objects lodged in its intestine. Misdiagnosed bid time. Paid Cash with two other dogs around $500 bucks, called today to have work done on another dog (I know but a simple procedure) the Melissa person again, did not understand a word that was spoken and kept re questioning me.. she wanted my info and then stated that she had nothing on me in her system.. so they used my money under the counter. the doctor is cool but the staff is really bad

You are an astonishing human being with a HUGE heart to lend your life saving services without having a responsible party to pay the bill. I could not disagree more with Ki3k0s. Dr. Stout has always been overly courteous and never tries to sell you anything you need. He and his staff have always been more than happy to stick around and answer all my questions. There is a reason where there are always tons of people in the waiting room that drive from as far as Bakersfield (like myself) on a regular basis. I

After trying a few vets hes one of the best with very good prices.Also every diagnosis has been right the first time and he doesnt try to BS you with unneeded test or surgeries like other vets Ive been too my only complaint is his dated examining rooms

The Delano veterinary hospital hasnt changed a bit. It still looks exactly as it did twenty years ago. Weve brought all our family pets here. The vet is honest and trustworthy. Hes very busy so call in to schedule an appointment.

Dr. Stout is an excellent Vet. He has taken care of all three of my dogs. My latest being my cane corso. I had Dr. Stout crop my corsos ears and they look great. I highly recommend him to anyone who owns a pet.
