I made an appointment one week ahead of time for a 4:00 time on a Thursday. I arrived about 3-5 minutes before 4. I walked in, signed in at the provided kiosks, and took my seat for about 7 minutes. I was called to the counter to fill in the rest of the information needed for my registration and took a seat for about another 5 minutes. At which point I was called in for a blood test. I was given a room that someone was already waiting for me in, and had everything completed (including payments) in about 30 minutes. Overall, I am very pleased with the experience and am disappointed by all the bad reviews on here. They really had me worried. Maybe I just got lucky? Didnt seem like anyone else was having a hard time with them while I was there, though.

Slow in Fast out

If possible, I would give this place a -5 start only due to the receptionist working there at 3/28/15 @8:45am. Never go to this place on weekends if you have an appointment. The appointment for my 77 yr old disabled aunt required fasting. We were only 3 mins late when he asked us to wait until he was ready. It took him 10 mins to get back to us and had the nerve to tell us we were almost 15 mins late and had to line up with the walk-ins which is an hour wait. So we just left because my aunt was diabetic and dizzy from hunger. The receptionist should be fired for his rudeness, unprofessionalism, and lack of compassion for a disabled senior citizen.

I am a home health nurse and I frequent Quest Labs from South San Jose up to Union City. Of all the Quest Labs I bring samples to, this is rarely a simple drop off for me. Other Quest Lab locations, I simply sign in, wait to get called on, submit the sample with the requisition form, and sign a form they provide me. Done. At this location, there is soo much inconsistency in service, changing protocols, or just small issues. They are the only location that will not provide me supplies. Of all the locations, Milpitas has served me the best.

You register at a kiosk on entry, then the c reception staff call you up for insurance information (usually 1-2 minutes after you register as the kiosk. So, very fast sign-in process. Best time of day to go without an appointment is midday (12-1pm). Without an appointment, you can expect to wait about 5 minutes, very fast!
