Im sorry I have never needed to bring in any of my pets here but let me briefly tell you an experience I had 4 years ago with this animal hospital. On my way to work I had noticed an injured hawk. I stopped & helped it cross from street traffic, threw a blanket over it & finally got it into my car, it was bleeding & hurt from an injury on its wing. This was about 3 blocks from the hospital. I understand this isnt the place for wild animals but let me tell you, when you find a wounded majestic animal like a hawk & are already late to work trying to save it, where else would u maybe think about taking a hurt animal. Well this is where I took it & the staff inside the entrance where appealed I had even thought of such a horrible idea as to a asking them for help. They ended up taking my license plate down of my car because I had to leave the hawk there for them to help him. Had they just respectfully told me to call the human society, I would have not only called buy taken the hawk there myself. Thats all they did. On my way to work late after, my boss told me I should have called the human society, which the Glendale location was closed on Monday, so I called the Pasadena location & guess what to my surprise Arden Animal Hospital had already called them for the hawk pick up. At least they had the care to do that.

I have been taking my puppy here and I can say that they helped me and my dog a lot since the very first day. I did all his vaccines, grooming, physical checkups there and I can say they were a little expensive, but I never thought of changing the vet just because it was $10-20 dollars more than other vets. The main reason that really disappointed me was their "dont care" attitude. My puppy felt nauseous and vomited a couple of times and as I never had any idea what that could be of i was very frightened and decided to call them. No one could provide over the phone advising or anything like that. It was an emergency and the only thing they cared about was their money. They kept telling me "Im not a doctor, you can make an appointment with the doctor so we can see whats going on." Just one visit is $59 or something and God knows how much their "exams" would cost. I understand, its a business and they need to think about making money, but there are some situations when the customers needs must be in the first place and this is when we see and appreciate your kindness, caring, and help. Thanks God my puppy is doing well now with the help of another caring veterinarians advice.

I have received fantastic care for my dog at VCA Arden! Dr. Misetich is experienced, knowledgeable, patient and dedicated to both pet parents and their companion animals. Ms. Patty Munson, the hospital administrator, has proven to be a powerhouse combination of efficiency and kindness, getting any and everything I needed done in a timely fashion while also dispensing hugs and a friendly ear for this nervous pet parent. Jenna Caress, the tech supervisor, really knows her stuff - and goes the extra mile to explain everything thats happening in a pets care and treatment. (And she knows when to pass the Kleenex, too!) Actually, all the vet staff have been kind, gentle and capable with both my pup and me. I am spectacularly pleased with the care and treatment weve received from the technical staff, and would be happy to recommend VCA Arden to any caring pet owner.

Ive been taking my pets here for years now. Ive had Dr. Bragg for the majority of the time so well focus on that in this review. Dr. Bragg (who unfortunately its no longer at this practice) was a wonderful veterinarian. She always answered all my questions, calmed all my concerns, and genuinely cares for my cats. She was a very sweet person. The receptionists are very nice. Pandora, Lynn, and the others at the front desk are kind and caring. Theyre always a pleasure to deal with. The support team, which I assume are vet techs/assistants/etc, are kind. I dont interact with them much, but when I do, they really do care for your pet. Currently, I am with Dr. Somes, and she is very kind and nice thus far. Hopefully this continues for years to come.

VCA Arden has been my veterinary of choice for 25 years and I have never been disappointed with the doctors or the staff. Dr. Mesetich is my "main man" however I have also seen several of the other staff doctors over the years if Dr. Mesetich was in surgery or unavailable. My cats and my dogs have always received great care and the staff and doctors are caring, kind and compassionate. I currently have two cats and recently adopted a dog from a shelter. Dr. Mesetich spent a good deal of time examining him and discussing his well-being with me and I was not charged a fee because "Rocky" is a rescue dog. What more can you ask from a thoughtful, professional and reliable pet hospital?

The vets and techs here are fantastic - knowledgeable, compassionate, and so helpful. Dr. Somes is our primary vet and she is wonderful, super responsive, highly capable and very down to earth. The front desk staff are always crazy busy and it can feel a little hectic at times, but they know their stuff and go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need (on one particularly busy day, when they couldnt work in another patient who walked in, they took the time to call around and see if they could get her an appointment at another clinic - when they were slammed themselves!). Absolutely recommend.

I wanted to switch vets, b/c the last one I had was too "clinical" and detached. While I liked the vet here, I believe this business is a scam. I took my cats here, having scheduled a check-up and grooming so I could get both done at once. (For those of you who know how hard it is to get a cat in a carrier, you understand the importance of making each visit count.) Upon arrival, I was told that grooming happens once a week and I came on the wrong day. What?! I was hit with a $650 bill for nothing but a nail clipping and to hear the news that my cats were OK. Great, but is it worth the money?

I have been taking my two dogs to VCA Arden for over 7 years. My primary vets have been Drs. Limberg and Schnable (I hope my spelling is accurate); and I am consistently delighted with the excellent care my pets receive. I dont understand how people can complain about a bill....@ VCA they are happy to provide you with an estimate! I personally feel that their prices are reasonable for the expert care and exceptional attentiveness my pets (and I) receive. I believe my pets are active and healthy due to the care they receive from me....and the wonderful VCA team!!!

Took my bunny in for a checkup because I suspected he had mites. I will definitely be going back. Dr. Limberg was helpful, knowledgeable, and gentle...and generally just really positive and awesome. The other staff who helped us today were also really nice and attentive. I felt very much at ease in the office even though I was stressed out when I got there. Even the other patrons were friendly and conversational, which to me says speaks to the nature of the practice itself. I would recommend this vet to any of my animal-lovin friends.
