I went to Glenoaks Animal Hospital with my 15 year old cat for the first time last week. Let me first off saying that I walked in without an appointment and their receptionist informed me that would be able to accommodated me within 5 minutes, which I didnt mind because I did just walk in. The first thing i noticed was that there was no smell!!! Ive gone to plenty of other vets and when you walk in the first thing you smell is a death odor. The receptionist Desiree had a huge smile on her face and was very informative with all the prices and any questions I had. I did ask a question that she was unfamiliar with and she made sure to inform the doctor before he entered the room. Dr. Choi was very friendly and answered all my questions regarding the health of my cat especially for his age. I did call around and get quotes for blood work and vaccinations and this hospital had the best deal. I never felt like Dr. CHoi was trying to sell me additional procedures and he listened to my budget. Which was comforting. I would strongly recommend this animal hospital to any new patients that are in need of Vet. Trust me after 15 years of going to vet to vet, I wish I would have gone here sooner. -Jama B.

My dog was a patient of Dr Choi for 3 months before I switched vets. I immediately noticed how he treated his techs rudely and it was always all about the money with him. When I switched vets, my new vet kindly reached out to his office for a copy of the vaccination records and they said that they wouldnt scan and send it because it was 2 pages; they only scan and send if its one. So I called them directly, requesting this again, and Dr Choi himself finally said that hed fax the vaccination records but that I would have to pay $10. TEN DOLLARS for him to fax 2 pages of records to a local vet office. If I still lived close I would have just gone and picked them up, but that wasnt an option. I cant stress this enough: Dr Choi is THE rudest vet Ive ever encountered and highly suggest not going to him. Set aside the greedy, cold, and rude man he is, I never trusted him with my dog. I wouldnt leave her alone with him in the room. While I was a client there for those 3 months, I encountered SIX different techs that he hired, who ended up quitting. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. Please, do yourself, your wallet and you pet a favor and DO NOT go to this vet.

Low Cost? Not at all. This doctor nickels and dimes you for everything. I spent so much money taking my dog in for the same issue. My dog had a "conjunctivitis" and was not responding well to the medication prescribed. The Vet would not let me come in for a "refill" I had to make another appointment just so he can tell me what we already knew "My dog has conjunctivitis" and gave me the same prescription again. I had to spend about 500 dollars in office visits just for conjunctivitis. Needless to say, I went to another vet, she prescribed a different medication and my dog is fine. He was also very careless when applying ear medication to my other dog. He went in too far and poked my dogs ear drum...my poor dog screamed and yelped. My dog never forgot that and when I had to take him in for something else, he would NOT willingly walk through that door. STAY AWAY!!

I recently changed vets from an over crowded vet to Dr. Choi. I must say that I was a little surprised by the negative reviews. I have so far had good luck with this vet. My dog had surgery recently and everything turned out good. Dr. Choi and staff have been very attentive to me and all my questions. I was on a budget when I found out my dog needed surgery and I didnt feel any pressure from Dr. Choi at all. He gave me my options and I had to decide what to do. My dog seemed very at ease at this vet. I did not feel any bad vibes at all, and Im super picky when it comes to my pet. The place is extremely clean. The customers that walked in all seemed pleased with Dr. Choi. So far I have no complaints at all. I would recommend this vet.

Dr. Choi is the best!!! Super nice friendly & has taken amazing care of my three cats: Angel, Trinity, & Oceania for 5 years now!! Friendly staff!! Amazingly clean small quiet place!! Will continue to bring my loved ones here!! Thank you for you service and amazing quality of work and Animal Care!!!

A little birdy who once worked there told me that during surgery, doctor cut a tumor out of a dog only to place it back in after he called and found out the client couldnt pay the added expense. God awful.

Worst place in history! I just called to get my cats records for an emergency. I was YELLED at! I was told they would not help me because they are at lunch! This place is horrible!

Ty is a bundle of fury when getting nails trimmed. These guys are over the top patient and are the only vets I will ever go to for any veterinary needs . Lucky you?
