I love the folks at Animal Health Care Center almost as much as I love my pets that they take care of! And the reason is that Dr. Lisa Hsuan has created an animal treatment center where everyone working there loves the animals they take care of, and where establishing a connection and a real relationship with my pets (and me) is paramount. Unlike other veterinary offices I have been to, my pets give me a clear message that this veterinary office is different! My dogs used to shake and try to escape other veterinary offices, where the crowded, crowded waiting rooms filled with other frightened animals contributed greatly to their fear. My pets still arent thrilled with vaccinations or other necessary treatments, but...they willingly go inside and I dont have to drag them in -- and once inside, they more curious about new smells than they are apprehensive about seeing the vet. When my beloved dog Buddy passed away last year, the entire office grieved right along with me. If I could give them 20 stars -- I definitely would!!!

Great service. They do a great job of making sure your pet is comfortable and happy, and work to keep this potentually stressful situation as stress free as it can be! Thanks guys for your patience and being able to see my pet quickly, eventhough I am a new client newly transplanted here from across the country! Dr. Lisa was one of the first veterinarians to take care of my mixed-terrier, Wilshire. That was about 4 years ago and he still adores her. And honestly, the feeling seems to be mutual. She remembers his quirks, both physical and personality, and gives good careful care without doing more than necessary. The staff, too, seem to really care about their patients. These are good people.

Dr. Lisa is great, and the office staff is attentive. Easy to make an appointment quickly, and Im always happy with the service. They also call to check on the pet after your appointment. I was referred here by the shelter where I adopted my dog, Sante DOr adoption center (Los Feliz Blvd).

Ellie sleeps soundly at night because she knows she can visit Dr. Cartwright / Dr. Shusan when shes sick. Theyre great about taking the time to explain health issues that come up with certain types of breeds. Really appreciated their help with my pup.

The best place I know, the staff is as good as can be. The whole focus is on the quality of your pets care; Behavioral Training, Preventing problems before they occur, and Good Customer Service. How do I know this? Because I work there! :D
