Stay far away. We took our 2 year old son in and the emergency on call doctor (Maxwell) said he didnt feel comfortable doing anything, and referred us to UC DAVIS. He literally only felt my sons bladder to make sure it wasnt full. A couple weeks later I get a bill in the mail for $818 dollars, AFTER I paid the hospital directly $150 before leaving that night. Our bill for UC Davis was $230, and multiple doctors and nurses came in the room AND they preformed an ultrasoud. UPDATE: It was explained to me that if they "cant" treat you, they will refer patients elsewhere but still charge you as if they treated you for what you went in for. So lesson learned: if you can make it to a hospital that has the resources to treat you, its probably best to go there first. Save yourself from a huge doctor bill for absolutely nothing.

There have been many bad experiences but last night actually made me sign up for account just to write this. Last night my dad was screaming in pain so we rushed him over to the emergency room, he barely made it to the door and dropped to his knees in pain so my mother asked the nurse for a wheel chair where the nurse replied: "well he was able to walk over here so he can walk around the hospital to registration". We then took him immediately to Ride Out Hospital where he is currently admitted for huge kidney stones. The ER should be a haven for people in an emergency, instead we were met with a nurse that would rather prolong the pain of someone in need rather then disturb her quiet evening.

I went in on Christmas Day, with suspected broken ribs. In spite of being in pain, I went out of my way to be kind, including thanking the first two people I met at the hospital for working on Christmas Day. On the plus side, all personnel except the doctor were kind and helpful. The doctor, however, was rude and dismissive. I am in healthcare myself, and work with doctors every day. I cant recall when Ive met a doctor who had such an unkind, authoritarian approach. Also, the physical plant really needs updating. They did, however, have me in and out in two hours. With that said, I would not go back.

Absolutely THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I will leave it at that as the "treatment" or lack of by the doctor there May very well be going further. The staff was great for the most part other than I was there long before many of the people who arrived after me and by the time I was taken back it was a ghost town in that waiting room. I am a former EMT so I am well aware of triage protocol and I most definitely should have gone back long before MOST! If you are curious about my experience just look on the hospitals Facebook page. My posts are there. I have 3 words FAILURE TO TREAT!

Was hospitalized about two weeks ago for dbl pneumonia. I was really against going here but needed to be closer to home so my kids and hubby wouldnt have to drive too far too come see me. There were a few floor nurses that were really great but some that just had no clue what they were doing and should probably go back to school. And communicating between nurses was insanely horrible. Hope I never have to go back again. And Im sure you know the normal complaints about hospitals and their food well this food was really disgusting and extremely unrecognizable

My friends and I were here tonight and the front end lady was nice, but the evening ER male nurse was beyond rude and out of line! He said things a medical professional should not tell their patient who was in pain/distress.. Following, the doctor came into the room and looked at the injury only to walk back out without saying ANYTHING to us.. Sending the male nurse back in to sign the release papers and continued to be rude and let us know we shouldnt have even came into the ER. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone.

Im writing from the ER. This place is a joke. I have been in the medical field for years. I would never recommend use of this facility. From staff in flip flops to improperly leaving a tourniquet on. A rude Dr. and RNs who were interested in talking about hair then patient chief complaint and care. Waited in an empty ER waiting room for 45 min before beining asked if we were there to be seen. Nope never again!
